A well established church in the centre of Plymouth. Lovingly restored after the trauma of the WW2 blitz on the city. Exquisite stained glass windows illuminate the east and west aspects. Well staffed by knowledgable guides who are keen to answer any questions.

I love this blessed church

The story of brave people's resistance.
When the discovery of unstable wartime rubble halted work on improvements in the heart of Plymouth recently, it was a stark reminder of the terrible devastation faced by the city and its people during the Blitz 80 years ago.Amid the rubble, American soldiers man an ack-ack gun in Plymouth, part of the defence against air raids on the city and naval base. In the background, the damaged St Andrew's Church and the Guildhall.

Came here to do photography on behalf of my society to take shots of the Plymouth University choir. Both the inside and outside of the church is nice and aesthetic. The staff are very friendly and helpful!

Brilliant church with a wonderful church family. Very welcoming. It's Anglican but also evangelical

Lovely stained glas windows, some depicting the war damage during WW2. There is another building behind the church, the Prystine House which carries some age. Friendly volunteers, afternoon recitals and meals from midday (check when they're on first). Worth a visit for the history and windows.

A truly lovely Church to visit.

I went to see the quilts. Very friendly people, but although it was lovely to see the exhibition, the layout was poor, with blank reverse quilts as you walk in and exhibits not in numerical order, so difficult to follow the route. Beautiful work though.

I don't believe in God anymore.....not since I watched my devout Christian mum suffer a living death for 14 months. But, it is a lovely church, very tranquil, well kept, and the people are so friendly. And it must be a wonderful sanctuary for those who treasure religion. I try and get in to watch the Summer recitals every Wednesday at 1.10pm as often as possible. There is something special about live music at lunchtime in a church.....sounds so lovely and very nostalgic for me. I sit and listen in wonderment and my imagination flows freely and releases so much stress and anxiety.....hats of to the Minster for staging them....brilliant. Just wish I still had my Mum.......

The statues at the entrance should be an obvious indication of the attention to detail made. Anyone who appreciates buildings , this is a must. The stained glass interior is exceptional and does a wonderful job of transforming the sunlight on a summer afternoon.

Very impressive cathedral-sized parish church, raised to Minster status some ten years ago. Suffered badly in the blitz, with the ancient tower being the least damaged structure. Very successful restoration, with newly commissioned glorious John Piper stained glass windows. There is a shop at the back of the Minster, selling appropriate cards, books, and gifts. There are also boxes of second hand books, arranged on half a dozen adjacent pews.
A member of the congregation acts as a welcome through the day, until closure at 4.00pm.
Well worth a visit.

A beautiful old church that had to be extensively rebuilt after the Second World War, this church is a lovely place to just sit and reflect or, especially at Christmas, join in the services. The only issue is with the limited parking.

We visited for Plymouth university Carol concert. The use of this building uplifted the performances of the students to make it a special event. The acoustics of the building added greatly to the Plymouth students concert. Also very easy access being in central Plymouth
