p. c.Amazing place, vicar and congregation... So warm and friendly... I went there on an alpha course and after seventy years a confirmed atheist... I learnt how to pray, had an epiphany and became a Christian. Never been so happy or comfortable within myself.
E. W.Great community focused church. The people who attend could not be more welcoming and caring. My husband and I have only been attending for five months but we already feel like party of the family.
There are loads of new projects running that are all arts based. Lunchtime Live is a fantastic pop up cafe and music gig, with activities for the family. Messy church (themed afternoon session for children and families) runs every couple of months. Lots of music events happening each month, often with a fish and chip supper.
S. G.I live close by. As a building it reminds me of architecture in Germany and The Soviet Union during the 1930s. Its a very off putting façade, I can't think what the architects were thinking of. Now here's an acknowledged design fault with the original roof maybe they'll be allowed to start again with something more inviting. A building that can accommodate a range of week time activities plus Sunday worship would be great for the church and the community. The people who worship there, especially the current vicar seem like a very normal lot - local people, on the whole, who a quick to welcome.
