I recently completed the fundamentals of Scalp Micropigmentation course with Matt and Matt at the Mosaic hair studios. It was a four day course in total. The course was very informative and conducted in a relaxed environment. Everything you need to start your own business is covered. Technique, number of sessions needed and what’s achieved in each session for the client. Different pigment shades, and hairlines dependent on age and ethnicity. Live models were provided, I worked on two separate models. I would recommend Mosaic studios for anyone considering starting their own Scalp Micropigmentation business.

What can I say about Matt! Firstly, Other than he’s a great smp artist but a even better guy. All sessions were a top laugh and the quality of the smp is brilliant ! Absolutely ecstatic with the results and confidence has gone through the roof, goodbye hair fibres! Secondly his place of works are excellent so clean and professional. From the moment I rang Matt for my initial consultation via phone, i felt he had nothing but my best interest at heart. He was sensitive, understanding and empathetic. I had done my own research regarding SMP clinics in the Northwest, but Matt’s website and other social media outlets convinced me to travel to Stoke-On-Trent from North Manchester. His prices are very competitive and his customer service is second to none. It is a long process, Up to 3 hours a visit, and I had anticipated 3 visits. However, Matt, being such a perfectionist, asked me to come back two more times till he was happy with the work. He could have easily fobbed me off after the third visit, but like Matt said, he wanted me to be a walking advert for him. Matt has the perfect personality to be doing this, nothing too clinical, but safe, clean professional job. I’d like to thank Matt again for the time he put in and for being flexible with his working hour to suit me. I’ve been told I look 10 years younger and I have a spring in my step again. From the moment I booked on the course Matt was very helpful, outlining the procedures and even booking my accommodation. The training itself, given by Matts 1 & 2 was full on and intensive but delivered in a friendly, relaxed manner. Although the period of time spent training may seem relatively short, every aspect is covered in detail, giving you confidence to move forward. The experience and professionalism of the two Matts is evident leading me to believe that a better fundamental grounding would be difficult to find at any other training facility. It as been several weeks now since I completed my training and contact with Mosaic is ongoing and nothing seems too much trouble when I need advice on those ‘little things’. There are lots of options of this sort of training out there (I did loads of research) but I highly recommend Mosaic and my advice would be to make them your number 1 choice. 👍

I had been thinking of having this procedure done to myself for a couple of years. As a Balding man in his mid 50s I asked myself all the questions, will it look false ?, what will people think ?, is it a painful procedure ?, is this the right place to have it done ?. All I can say is I wasted two years waiting and my only regret was not having it done sooner. From the first telephone call to my first visit I was not only put at ease but made to feel part off the whole process with plenty of time to ask questions and express any concerns. The place itself is immaculate, and would not be out of place in Harley street in London. The end product is actually beyond my expectations, my partner who did not initially want me to have it done loves it and says it has knocked years off me( I agree but said dint not say that to her.) It looks so natural that even my friends when looking close can not tell between my hair and the ink. Hi i first heard of Matt when i was in Rumania it popped up on my facebook. I have been considering mdp for a couple of years but was put of other sites as they looked fake,too rigid.
