A random visit, which was made better by the warm weather, and beautiful scenery. This small Minster is gorgeous to look at and whilst it was closed for our visit, I'm sure it would have looked lovely inside. There was many old headstones dating back to 1700s ( we always look for the oldest ones ) and a couple of small benches to sit down upon if you wished. There is roadside parking available right next to the Minster for ease of access. This was our first sight of Stoke after a visit to the monkey forest and it was a very pleasant place to stroll around. 😀 enjoy your visit.

Great place to walk the dog just beware of the drug users who occasionally use the place as there shooting gallery seen them half dead with trousers around the ankles with a syringe sticking out of there groin but this is a rare sight and usually they just ignore people and try to hide what they are doing but a really nice area for walking and looking at the grave stones and the dates and age of death pleasant in spring summer

Nice square with cemetry and the two hundred year old stoke minister sitting proudly in the middle. Lots of lovely trees surround the church. Easy to find with pedestrian signs to follow.

Beautiful building with excellent acoustics. I was singing there in a choir. Well worth a visit if only to look round.

Nice place to walk in summer to look at all the old grave stones which some have got the street or area of where they used to live and the age they departed if you are into history it still amazes me how young people used to die but that's something you can find out for yourself if you have a walk around the church itself is a nice building and if you go on Sunday you can sit in on a service

Pleasant greenspace/cemetery with superb display of flowering magnolias in the Spring. Interesting concrete double sided bench inlaid with shards of pottery, tiles and fragments of heads. Various ornate tombs, Josiah Wedgwood's grave and the Spode family tombs. Ruins of former Church and relic of ancient Cross. The present Church itself looks lovely from the exterior but not been within.
