D. T.A haven of peace amongst the busy bustle of York. It was extensively bombed during the war but was rebuilt in part. It not only holds services but also community activities
J. S.What a delightfully peaceful church, with a splendid sculptural tableaux of the last supper on the reredos. I like and support the way it connects to Coventry cathedral's Community of the Cross of Nails with a focus on reconciliation. I felt that God was present in the building far more than in the Minster.

R. s.The PARISH church of st Martin le grand sits on Coney street in York it dates from the 11th century it's a GRADE 11 listed PARISH CHURCH IN THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND THE TOWER WAS BUILT IN THE 15TH CENTURY BY JB AND W ATKINSON OF YORK , THE CLOCK THAT ON SITS ON THE EAST FRONT WAS ADDED IN 1856 BY MR COOKE. THIS IS ANOTHER MAGNIFICENT BEAUTIFUL CHURCH LOCATED AT 13 CONEY STREET IN THE HISTORY FILLED CITY OF YORK IN NORTH YORKSHIRE IN ENGLAND,

L. P.St Martin le grand is a medieval church in Coney street York, in July 1942 it received a direct hit from incendiary bombs in the infamous Baedeker raid on York, only one aisle remained whole and that now forms the church, note the clock with the naval officer on top that is on the outside of the church
