Excellent service. highly recommend this shop. Channi the shop owner is so sweet and polite. It’s been about 10 years since I’ve been purchasing my clothes from her and I’ve never felt like I’ve made the wrong decision in coming to her. She’s amazing and respectful towards her customers. She sorted me out last minute as I only had one week left and she did an amazing job. Me and my sisters ordered outfits for my brothers wedding. This is one of the very few shops specialising in occasion wear for women on alum rock road which is not overpriced. Channi (shop owner) is very friendly and polite. She listens to what you want. Our order came before we expected it. The only complaint we had was the border on our dupatta was silver when we'd asked for gold. Channi reassured us this would be resolved and she had this changed and the dupattas were returned in time for my brothers wedding. Many of the shops are unhelpful when they realise you're not buying a ridiculously overpriced bridal outfit (I can only assume they have very profitable margins on these) but this was not the case with ghungroos. If I need asian party or bridal wear in the future I will definitely return. I highly recommend this shop.

Ordered a few outfits made to measure at really short notice for my wedding, they arrived on time and look so so beautiful, was not disappointed. Cannot wait for all the compliments i’ll be receiving! All staff are really friendly and Channi is absolutely amazing! Came here looking for wedding dress and had left with one the thanks to the lovely helpful girl working their was advising me to try on the outfit to see how I feel in it and I fell in love with it more; would definitely recommend this shop the customer service was a 10/10 the amazing lovely auntie& her husband were really helpful jolly sweetest people ever never felt so welcomed before. The Staff are sooo lovely and go out their way to help you find the perfect outfit within your budget. I had brought a lhenga from this shop for my sisters wedding. The one she showed us was really beautiful. But I wanted my trail extended since it barely touched the floor. So I had ordered it. Came to collect it And the trail looked the same length. It wasn't extended. She kinda got vexed but i told how what i wanted it and it didn't come out like that But as a whole the customer service us ok. The lady is quite nice and welcoming. There is a wide range of options for what u want.
