R. S.I have come to shimmers for all of my daughter's dresses and now for my upcoming wedding. I bought my wedding dress and both of the girls. Shimmers has beautiful gowns at wonderful prices - but her honesty is what I love the most! Five stars - If I could choose 6 stars I would!
S. M.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! my family have been shopping here for years. Really reliable and consistent in all departments. High quality materials and stitching and very unique with design and fashion. My sherwani as a groom has come back quick and the way I wanted, a wide range of designs to meet all preferences. The customer service is great. Dont force or push people which is very rare in Asian suit stores. Thank you Rav and all other staff at shimmers!!!

G. J.A SHOP WORTH BUYING FROM. Iv shopped many years at Shimmers. The owner Rav is not only very pretty to look at but her work her personality speaks volume. She is not pushy. Doesn't force a sale on you and is truthful with her opinion which I'm always grateful to hear. The lady who helps in the shop is most pleasant and you are always greeted with a smile. Styles, colours, designs are fabulous and they tailor to your size. Defo a shop I would recommend to anyone.

R. R.Amazing experience. We had a rushed wedding due to COVID literally had weeks to prepare for it . No one was taking orders as it was short notice . Visited shimmers fell in love with an outfit . Having just 3 weeks left we asked if we could order . Rav casually said of course . We were slightly worried as there were 5 of us ordering but still took the risk . Soooooo glad we did ,outfits came before time . Exactly how we wanted them excellent quality and no alterations needed fitted us all bang on . Amazing customer service . B. S.I have come to Rav at Shimmers a number of times now .. I have never been disappointed. Rav's customer service is BRILLIANT and the outfits I have bought are beautiful. My latest purchase was a lengha, being 5ft 3inch, the lengha was clearly to big for me. When I asked Rav if it could be altered into a gown, she said yes. The end product is so nice and so pretty and I cant wait to wear it, plus Rav added sheer sleeves to the gown at no extra charge and the fitting is perfect. I for one will always come back to Rav for that one of kind unique outfit for family functions. Rav's prices are also affordable compared to other stores on Soho Road .. I look forward to buying more outfits from Rav at Shimmers .. :)

T. M.Came here again to buy outfits and jewellery for Eid and may I say there were soo many outfits to choose from. You need a lehenga, a saree, bridal outfits or jewellery, come visit this store. Everything in this store is stunning and best thing yet is that the outfits and jewellery are sold at an affordable price. The customer service is 10/10 and Rav was such a helpful and kind person who helped me decide what jewellery suits with the outfit I ordered from her, her choice was perfect. When I came back to collect my order, it was the right colour, the right size and the right fabric, compared to other stores I'd say Shimmers is the best.

R. S.The best bridal store in Birmingham!! So supportive. I had found the perfect dress for my prom which was in 2019, the service was great and all the staff were extremely friendly. I had just visited the store again today for a bridesmaid dress not only did I find the perfect one the bride also found hers too!! Many yeses to both dressed and a million thanks to Shimmers owner and the rest of the staff for their wonderful services.

My friends are particularly picky and we had been looking for a very long time as nothing seemed to work. In the build up to the wedding she was incredibly helpful, attentive and she made the process so easy. Such a lovely lady she deserves all the business she can get. She was also very adaptable because one of my bridesmaids needed her outfit adjusting two weeks before the wedding! We were so impressed by her outfits and service that my sister got her bridesmaid dresses from Shimmers 6 months later and my aunts got their outfits from there too. I felt she got what I wanted, listened to me but above all offered genuine and honest opinions - about differences in quality. The lead time was very good, in comparison to others. I was given help and they filled me with confidence in ordering he made sure the exact colour was selected bin India by sending them an actual sample. It came on time and they paid for 2 fittings with their tailor. Thanks guys I got so many compliments.

K. K.fantastic services don’t believe everything you see, my sister passed away last year, as we all know Tradition is to purchase new clothes, the owner felt our pain and our loss and discounted the outfit hugely, she is wonderful.
Iv watched some video clips and what this so called HMRC worker did is theft.
IT is a civil matter and has to be dealt via the courts, not him stealing the item, the owners should report him to the police and most importantly to HMRC!!!
