If it were possible, this establishment deserves more stars. The service and quality of knowledge by Dean was literally outstanding. He was attentive without being forceful on opinion and able to assist with decisions when stuck. Highly recommend and the Cardiff branch had a held stick of formal wear, both suits and Highland wear. Able to then select from a huge range of office wear also. Worth the visit. They also provided a colouring book and crayons for my young child while they waited.

Fair play, what a pleasure of an experience buying a suit from this place. Whilst I am a big fan of Slaters, I've been buying suits for work from them across the country for nearly 20 years. The Cardiff site is an odd place. From personal experience all but one member of staff treat you very differently depending on how you are dressed. Visit in a suit and the staff address your every need, go in in your own clothes and often you'll be shunned or looked down on. Funny how even in this modern day that just because one comes into the store in their more alternative attire on their days off they are suddenly treated like they shouldn't be there, or assumed that perhaps they can't afford their suits. It's okay though, because one can just take the short walk over to Moss Bros or Hawkes in town or Alternatively wait till they are back in London and go to Saville Row, Zebels, Edits and all the other made to measure places in the city.

Went into the store two weeks back to shop for matching suits for me and my brother for a wedding. This was the first shop we went into and straight away got alot of help and support with picking a suit. As it was the first shop we decided to look around but I knew I'd probably be back. Went back same day later in the afternoon and again customer service from a different advisor was excellent. Spent time with us, with alterations, picked the correct sizes, talking through posting over to me as I am based in London. I recieved my suit today as they said I would and to the alterations I asked for me. If you want quality service with attention to detail, with a wide range of options and very affordable prices look no further. I can see why there are so many positive reviews. Got two tweed suits for £250 with free alterations and free postage. What more can you ask for. Looking forward to my next visit

Bit like a warehouse with a mis-match of trouser and jacket sizes. Would need to have a good rummage to find what you want. They do offer an alteration service. Staff quick to help but I hate that as I'd rather browse at my own leisure. Didn't buy anything.

It's been a while since I've been in the store. Tend to shop online (feeling guilty bout that) but my elderly Dad wanted new corduroy trousers, jacket and an in store experience. Good service. Didn't have his size but we're prepared to alter size up to fit...and include free postage. Mind, £189 for both items it's a bit on steep side. But quality of the goods is not as good as I remember. Had a quick browse through Ralphs Room and quality is defo not as good as when I bought two Jaguar suits 15 year ago. They just flow, move and ooze quality...and they're still looking good. Ted Baker, Aquascutin and Fellini just don't cut it.

If you found a suit u liked it didn't seem likely they would have it in different sizes so they relied on there alteration service.....but sorry theres only so far you can take something in without it loosing its style. Been looking for a reasonably priced suit that fitted well for longer than I can remember and my friend tells me about Slaters, one thing is for sure I am definitely coming back pay day. Only had an hours parking so I didn't have long at all, a young man named Jack saw I had no idea what I was looking at, my size, anything, and came over to assist. Very happy with my experience with Slaters. We went last Sunday to have a look for our wedding suits, after having a very disappointing appointment with moss bros, me and my fiancé where very annoyed and was finding the experience stressful other than an enjoyable experience it should be. However after chancing going into slaters and seeing if we needed to make an appointment first, we were welcomed by Kifah, who told us an appointment wasn’t needed and made us feel so comfortable and welcome! After going through a few suits and trying some on, we come to agreement to order the suit we hoped for online that can be sent into store for trying on. Kifah wrote down the measurements, gave us a brochure and explained to us how to do it online. We done this and went into store today to try on the suit, hoping to be helped by Kifah. As soon as Kifah seen us she come over to help us. Kifah was amazing, made us feel welcome, nothing was too much trouble. It was a shame that the suit wasn’t to my fiancé’s taste and there was nothing else in the hire range for us. As we would of definitely brought from here! Amazing prices too.
