Wow! My experience at Evie Black was excellent ! We arrived for a late night appointment which feels like being a celebrity. Lots of dresses , hats, bags and shoes, so we were able to get the entire outfit in one shop. Plenty of choice and styles, traditional and top of the latest fashion. Lots of good advice from Sharon and Charlotte. No rushing. Super quality items. No chance of being the same as someone else at your occasion! We were very impressed indeed and delighted at what we were able to buy. My outfit has to have some small adjustments so excuse the clips on the back of the dress.

I visited Evie Black with my husband on 13/05/2022 (appointment only) looking for an outfit for our daughter’s wedding. 5 star service from Sharon who made us both feel welcome from the moment she opened the door. She listened to what I wanted and was patient and generous with her time and advice when selecting and trying on outfits and accessories from the wide range available; nothing was too much trouble. I tried on at least a dozen dresses and came away with the full outfit: dress, hat, shoes and handbag. Thank you so much Sharon, you made the long journey from Cumbria so worth it.

My sister and myself took our Mam to this shop on Friday 22nd July. Mam had a definite idea of what she wanted and also the colour. With a little persuasion from ourselves and the lovely lady she tried on at least 16 outfits of all different styles. All were fabulous and it was a difficult choice but she came away with a beautiful outfit. Lovely shop, amazing choice of outfits and excellent personal service. Will highly recommend. After trying loads of dresses, for my sons wedding in June. I was feeling really down, i made an appointment at evie's at 7pm which was great as I travelled from cumbria. The experience was amazing the dresses were beautiful. After trying on a few i found the one. I never felt rushed at all. I also bought a hat. The lady (sorry forgot your name)was patient and lovely. I took my mam here a few days ago and what brilliant service right from walking in the door! The lady who helped us (sure her name was Sandra) was so kind and helpful and nothing was to much! Even bringing my mam a higher chair with being disabled! My mam got sorted for an outfit for my wedding and she looks gorgeous! We had a laugh and a chat all whilst getting my mam sorted! Can’t thank you enough 😊 will recommend to any I know needing an outfit!

I was quite nervous before my appointment today as I had already tried on so many dresses bought on line in the hope of finding something suitable for my son's wedding in April in Portugal, none of which fit. I needn't have worried however, the service I received was extremely professional, yet friendly and relaxed. Just been today for my 10.00 a.m appointment the experience was amazing. Sharon was fantastic she chose outfits for me that I would never have considered. Sharon and Sandra kindly let me make an appointment today a Sunday. They had a wonderful selection of Mother-of the Bride/Groom. I was given a personal service and choose anything I would like to try and then went into a lovely airy dressing room to try on. Every thing I tried was beautiful and I was spoiled for choice. I am in my early sixties and the clothes were designed to cover any imperfections . I bought the most amazing outfit the dress and jacket, hat shoes and bag and am looking forward to wearing them. Was so delighted with the experience, loads of dresses to choose from and I was persuaded to try on a dress I would never have picked for myself, I absolutely loved it. Made my my 1 st enquiry about dress sizes as I need a plus size, Sharon went out of her way to get a selection of dresses in my size. Going along to the shop , I felt slightly nervous as I struggle to get anything that fits both top and bottom. A selection of dresses were brought out for me to try on, and sharon made me feel so comfortable. After a couple of tries I found the dress I wanted. The shop its self is very private and well set out. I would highly recommend evie black to anyone who is needing an outfit for a special occasion
