They work closely with the community and charities. They have the right idea about how things should be run which benefits local people
t. c.A few years ago I was visiting Edinburgh, I walked past Pieute and went to go in but the door was locked, I was about to walk off but the guy behind the counter ran over and opened the door for me (I think he was having his lunch or working in the back or something). I went into this tiny shop and ended up buying a t shirt because I felt bad for interrupting his day but years later I still love that t-shirt and now I buy their stuff off of the internet. Terrific clothes and top people.

j. C.Visited last year with my girlfriend - gorgeous little shop in the historic centre of Edinburgh, staff the friendliest about. Threw in stickers of their legendary fat boy, all round amazing experience and the local support they provide is inspiring, they really do go the extra mile to help out their community.
Ordered a hoody this week, delivered promptly, in top notch condition, quality is honestly that of high end designers or better. If you care about your community or want to support people who care about theirs, buy from this shop. The designs, quality and message behind their clothes makes them something to be proud to wear.
Could go on all week about reasons to buy from here, but aside from anything else, the clothes are honestly amazing. Skate/street inspired with designs and logos which mean something, can’t be beaten in my eyes.

E. D.Rumours whistle down the Scottish street that pieute’s name comes from the phrase pie ute. As a northern lass I have to question if a T-shirt will ever compare to a pie... But the seams are steamier than a steak bake or vegan sausage roll - whatever floats your boat.
That’s the thing with a steak pie. What if you’re vegan?
Pieutes T-shirt’s don’t discriminate, it don’t matter if you’re vegan or veggie, dog or kangaroo, you can wear this brand while looking and feeling tastier than a pie. That is quality. That is Pieute.
And they taste better than gravy (trust me).
B.Without a doubt my favourite herbalist, homeopathy garment shop in all of Edinburgh. In under two weeks of wearing their medicinal spiritual healing cap my Qi was restored and realigned. Their aura balancing hoodie completely fixed my karma and I grew 3 inches too. Their clothes are magic, just magic.

C. C.My first day at uni and I spotted a girl sitting across the room with a pieute sticker on her laptop and I just waved over to her and pointed to my pieute sticker. She sat beside me and gave me a cuddle and now were best pals! Great brand that isn't scared to share its opinion, just like that girl in my class it feels like an old pal!

They also do lots for the local community like making donations to clothing banks and hosting events for the local community to enjoy such as skating competitions with prizes given out.
They're a cool bunch of cats with an equally cool owner.

C.absolute legends. once i wasnt in for a pieute parcel and was too lazy to pick it up so it got returned to robbie. 3 weeks later i get an email from robbie (having forgotten about this) that he was sending it back to me with a few wee extra bits. love the clothes love the ethos just allround smasin!
d. v.Wonderful people, great quality clothes with original designs often featuring local artists- (lots of love from the skate community when I wear the kickin n pushin skate tshirt). But the most important thing is the message they stand for and what they believe in: lots of help for the homeless community, the belief in equality, the support for rights for everyone, and the acknowledgment of those with learning difficulties (myself included)- and what can be achieved despite adversity. This has all led to Pieute being my favourite brand. Very excited for the future to see what will come. (Will definitely have to come in and stock pile a few tshirts before leaving Scotland again).

L. P.My dad used to wear shin pads in the bath. When people found out, I was slated an absolute phucker. Safe to say I nearly lost it. Tried to persuade him to take them off but he wouldn't budge, "It's not safe" he said. Then I got him wearing pieute and he's taken them off for good. Even bathes in Irn Bru sometimes. The old recipe as well, none of that low sugar pish.
