Another great Primark store. However this one in Edinburgh is not as big as the one in Birmingham or in Coventry. But still good collection of kids, women and men clothes and all. Overall a very good shop to shopping at.

Great shop with a massive selection of great value, low priced clothes for men, women and children. For anybody who has never been to a Primark shop, go there before you buy any other clothes, such great value. Finished our shopping trip with a relaxing stop in their cafe on the top floor, which has great views of Princess street and the Castle.

I love the Primark store in Princes St, Edinburgh. Everything is so tidy & orderly, which is not always the case in other Primark stores. Mostly this is a busy store too. On this occasion, their public toilets were out of order, and being diabetic, I had to go. The staff were super. They allowed me to use the staff toilets, and took me there & back. I was grateful for this. Just a little thing, but was very much appreciated. Thank you.

Why does Primark defy the general trends and keep on growing as a physical-only store? Of course, there are always multiple answers to a question like this. Dependent on our perspective, we can point at the leadership, consumer trends, smart purchasing, luck, and so on and so forth. And this will probably give us bits and pieces of the answer. We get a more complete and coherent answer, though, when we look at their strategy over the past years and how well they insist on this strategy and align their company around it. Primark is able to create this experience so convincingly because everything they do is aligned around exactly this value proposition. It is well-aligned externally with the market because this value proposition matches the needs and desires of a particular customer segment and because it differentiates them from their competitors. And it is well-aligned internally because all of Primark’s operations – purchasing, stock management, store design, etc. – are aligned to just create this kid-in-the-candy-store experience.

Even tough it can sometimes feel crowded inside i love their cotton jeans and tees, the staff are really lovely and remain always professional. The shop is very BIG, hojse section,men section, shoe section. Everything there feels supersized compared to other Primarks I've visited. The only reason i dont give it 5 stars is because its always so hot in there i feel breathless after 15 min. Other people dont seem affected but it chockes me and makes me want to run back out to fresh air. Some places have spotty reception but they fixed that by offering free wifi which is very good.

Good old Primark.. Definitely a value store. If you are looking for posh brands just go next street to George Street. Store is 4floors, si make sure you have enough time before you enter hehe. You can find reasonable quality for reasonable prices for your day to day clothing or sport and leisure stuff as well. Good bargains nd sales too. Not overpriced and many items 100%cotton. To avoid shopping rush I prefer to do early morning or late evening shopping then you have "empty store mood" like you see on the pictures. Well maintained a very tidy. Tax free option foe tourists too! 😉happy Primarking 😉

I think the Clothes have sort of lost there style and overly expensive for some of the Clothing I'd rater go to New look for some of the clothes but if you need household thing then yes.If I'm honest they have fab kiddies clothes and not too bad price wise.

If you are looking for something cheap or reasonable in Edinburgh (or in any cities of UK or Europe), then it's a perfect shopping place for you. A nice shopping place with all clothing, essentials, cosmetics, winter wears, kids wear, men's wear, women's wear, shoes, bags and many more small things. Everything from cheapest to medium price and quality. It's the cheapest shop I've ever found in UK or in Europe. It's just, some things you can get of good quality while other things are of quiet a low quality. But, it's a shopping place of all ranges and quality. Last time I went there and got a very good collection, but today it wasn't that good. May be it's coz of black friday. But, soon I will visit again and explore what new I can find there. I like shopping up there. Happy shopping!

WOAH! This place is BIG! TOO big! Hah! Imagine getting lost in a PRIMARK! Sounds silly but it happened to me! Took me HOURS to find the exit after I got lost in the home section! Tour guides might be an idea!! Or refreshments if I’m going to be stuck for longer than 5 minutes!

Absolutely fantastic shop, everything you need over 3 -4 floors and all well stocked . Everything is so reasonably priced were I would say inexpensive. The shop is central to everything in the new town ,old town 'royal mile'etc.

Great selection of products at affordable prices. I bought 3 pairs of reading glasses total bill £5. I have seen the same types of glasses for over £20 a pair elsewhere, they usually have a large selection of styles but it was quite limited, possibly due to the amount of Christmas items on sale.

This is a great store on several floors with clothing for everyone at affordable prices. Children are well catered for with wide ranges of clothes with modern and current designs. On the top floor is a café with great views of Princes Gardens and Edinburgh Castle.

Not the greatest Primark in the world. But then it is a Primark! To buck the trend there were not any clothes on the floor. It wasn't busy and it was clean and bright. Staff were friendly. The one star loss is down to accessibility. The escalators feel unsafe (the hand rail leap and jerk at a different rate to the steps) and some of the solar are awkward to navigate for those with mobility issues.

Several levels of low-cost clothes. It's a good place to go if you're in a hurry and need a sweater on the fly or anything similar. At times, the quality is subpar. And the store itself is quite crowded. I frequently leave because I am unable to find what I am looking for. When we arrived, the cafe was closed.

My favourite part of this store is the homewares department which you can enter from Rose Street. Prepare to get lost and/or lose an hour or so while browsing the many floors of this store while bargain hunting. Queues can appear to be long but staff are efficient and keep things moving.

My prayers were answered when Primark opened its lovely new sleek store in Edinburgh. There's a great range of up to the minute fashion/styles - that cater for every taste. Everyday essentials, including home accessories, tech gadgets and stationery are also available at affordable prices! Can always find everything I'm looking for - could literally spend hours in store, always feels like a real treat. Plenty of floors and lifts, with tonnes of helpful staff, and special mention should go to wonderful facilities for disabled people and mothers with prams. Update as of November 2019 a new in store cafe is opening! - Great now I never have to leave. 😁 Update as of April 2022, still my favourite store!

I've always heard so many good things about Primark and I finally got to see what all the fuss was about! The clothing is indeed very cheap and plentiful. I didn't really need anything and my luggage was too small to carry anything over what I already had so I sadly had to leave with nothing. But it's such a cool store! They have tons of cool sections with Harry Potter, Friends, etc merchandise. It's amazing :D

Better customer service in-store lately, compared to repeated bad experiences in the past. All sorts of unprofessional behaviour from staff members. Which was not called for, rude behaviour from staff getting by isles, barging past. Feeling I was receiving more respect from the customer's on too many occasions I felt. However, I may be timing it better, or not getting in the wrong place at the wrong time's too often. The staff turn around seems fairly quick, so perhaps the staff putting customers off going into the store have moved on? I've saw a great improvement. I was able to enjoy shipping in there today for the first time in a long long time. I would have not even given this a review before. Although I did rate it 3 stars ages ago. I could change, however the bad still far outweighs the good. How vividly I remember certain situations sweeten nice and I'm not sure for that reason that more than 3* is from Primark in my opinion.?

I was recommended to go to this place before going to UK, so much so that I added it in my to-do list. But as luck would have it, I ended up visiting their outlet in Edinburgh (Princess Street). I loved the place. Even though it might feel like Shoppers Stop or Lifestyle chains we see in India, but the quality is slightly better and it is super value for money. You may even end of finding some of the stuff is made in India. A large collection, well maintained and helpful staffs. So for the first time ever, I did quite a bit of shopping in my international trip. Thanks to Primark.

For a Primary this is an amazing store - best one I've ever been to, not that I've been to loads - but still... There's something like 4 floors n the stock n variety of it is just awesome. I was so excited to return to Primark for the first time since before all of the lockdown! Loads of lovely stock for the summer, great prices and deals as always! My deduction is due to how incredibly lacking they seemed to be in enforcing the mask policy, it was ridiculous how many people were without one, despite a very clear sign in the entry saying you must wear one. Aside from that their health and safety measures were fab, and I haven't seen the place so clean, I guess because people aren't as keen to pick up random things and make a mess!

This is a huge store with a decent selection for women and men of all ages. The quality of the clothes isn't great but that's the trade off for the cheap prices. I wouldn't shop here for adult clothes, but find they're the perfect place to buy children's clothes, as they grow out of the clothes before they become too worn out. The clothes racks are quite close together so when it's busy you find yourself having to squeeze by people so it's not the most accessible space on the shopfloor. There are usually a lot of staff working the tills but it's often hard to find staff on the shopfloor if you need help. Overall, it's a great store that offers great budget clothes, especially for kids.

Have been to a number of Primark stores across the UK and Europe- I could easily spend hours here, as this is my favourite. It is also open much later than the rest of Princes Street. Staff have always been pleasant, especially at the pay desks, where queues can be long but generally move quickly. Shop is also reasonably tidy for how busy it is. I usually go in for one thing and come out with a full shopping bag. Quality is surprisingly good for the price, and in recent years Primark seems to be upping its ethics. Beauty department is a gem. Fast fashion means it's easy to pick up on current trends and build whole outfits on a budget.

Primark is always worth a visit. The Edinburgh Princess Street store is full to the brim of bargains for yourself your kids and your home. It can be very busy on weekends so you should try popping in on Thursday for later shopping hours if you want to avoid a crowd but can't make it there during work hours. The male clothing section is large and sells every type of clothing item you could hope to choose from. Recently I picked up a few items for the gym and was surprised by the quality of fit and fabric. Its also excellent for the basics like vests, t-shirts, boxers and socks. If you want a light jacket for the spring they have lots of adequate choices, same goes for jumpers and shirts. Some of my nicest fitting shirts are slim fitting Primark efforts. On the one occasion I had to return something I was attended to quickly and was given a full refund without any fuss. One very helpful and friendly member of staff called Lyndsey deserves special mention for helping me find a particular size of t-shirt when I couldn't locate it on the shelf. She was a credit to the store. With escalators near the front door and only one floor down to the mens section you will feel well catered for at Primark if you are a male shopping for clothes.

Nice staff and I think they really strive for equality when choosing their workers. I think I heard a cashier with some speech impediments which was nice to see that there's no discrimination here. But nonetheless, I don't mind buying primark items because most of them are cute anyways. It's a large store and you can spend a lot of time here. This is a very big 5 floors Primer in the city centre. To think in a bigger one probably I need to think in the London's Oxford street one. Inside is as every Primark I've been, full of people (mainly women's) buying tons of cheap stuff that worth it. In case you don't know what is Primark about, is all about clothes and house stuff.

Not a fan of shopping but the added cafe in this store is fantastic and priced reasonable. Grab a window seat and watch the world go by with stunning views of Edinburgh Castle and the gardens. If visiting Edinburgh pop to this cafe.

Unbeatable prices and always updated collections . Have visited this store three times in my two weeks visit to Edinburgh . The prices are pretty competitive for the collection and quality on offer . I wish they open a store I. Australia where I come from . The gents section is mind boggling . Shoes , perfumes , t-shirts all affordable and latest fashion . I did drop into their store in London also . However our tour was too tightly scheduled for us to buy something from there . The staff here is are friendly and advised us on how we can claim our gst back in the airports . The collection here are pretty popular . I did see a lot of people with primark jackets while roaming around Edinburgh . Drop in and I am sure you will find something of your taste .

It's cheap, This primark is huge and got a variety of different clothes which you can't find in small primarks. Toliets are available, customer service needs to be more in this store.

Wasn't the best Primark I have been too. A bit disjointednl in its organisation of where things are. Staff were scarce. Maybe it was just the day but it just didn't seem like a great place to shop. Bit untidy as well.

Low price on Edinburgh or London then you must visit Primark. Remember the products are not a superior quality but we'll priced. Most of the products are manufactured in Bangladesh or Asian countries. If you are lucky you can get few products manufactured in Spain other Turkey which is worth. If you need a tax refund invoice then minimum invoice value is 40 pounds

This is some folks idea of hell. Others believe it's a godsend. I'm half and half. This place is massive. I think it has 4 floors(?) of cheap I-really-don't-need-this-but-I'll-buy-it-because-it's-a-fiver goodness which includes guys, girls, kids and a whole homeware floor. Surprisingly, for a Primark, it's really tidy and well maintained. The staff could smile from time to time but I guess one step at a time.

I really don't like Primark shops but due to needing an emergency back pack I had to use this one. I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and organised. It felt like you were shopping in a much more upmarket store.

As with any Primark store it's busy and its messy. I don't shop here but I do come in with friends and family and they seem to enjoy spending countless hours on all 4 floors. Staff always seem willing to help too.
