Catherine’s of Partick were amazing from start to Finnish. Roma was fantastic, she was so very helpful and had such a bubbly personality.She calmed me down when I was panicking, she reassured me and promised to find me the dress of my dreams. I felt like a million dollars at my son’s and daughter in law’s wedding. It was a magical day. I can’t rate Catherine’s of Partick high enough.

With only 4 weeks until my daughter’s wedding and having been badly let down by another wedding outfit shop, I visited Catherine’s of Partick to find a hat for my Mother of the Bride outfit. Jacqueline was the loveliest lady who helped me find the perfect headpiece to complement my outfit, showing patience, kindness and understanding all through the appointment. I also left the shop with the perfect jewellery to match and couldn’t be happier with everything I purchased. Catherine’s will be my first choice next time I’m looking for a wedding/event outfit as their level of customer service is excellent and their pride in providing the perfect outfit is evident. From the moment we walked up to the shop door in windy conditions a lovely lady opened the door giving us a very warm and friendly welcome. We had five star treatment from Robyn and were given excellent advice. Robyn answered all our questions thoroughly and in-depth and really did go above and beyond our expectations. All Catherine’s of Patrick staff provided excellent customer service and I would go as far to say it’s the BEST EVER customer service experienced on a shopping trip and believe me there are many! I had the most fabulous experience at Catherine's. Roma listened to what I wanted, showed me a range of options and I could easily have chosen any or all of them. I decided with Roma's expert help on an outfit that I couldn't be more pleased with. The shop is an Aladdin's cave of treasures and anyone visiting will be spoiled for choice. I managed to get a dress, a hat, shoes and a handbag (even a pair of tights) in less that two hours. I rarely make recommendations on the basis of one experience but in this case I make an exception. My experience in this shop was second to none. I live in Ireland and had been shopping for quite a while for my mother of the bride outfit. In desperation I travelled to Glasgow to visit as this shop and another had been recommended to me. I won’t go into detail about the first shop, but I was extremely disappointed, and this meant my expectations were at rock bottom when I went to Patrick for my appointment.I was met by the lovely Lisa who was simply wonderful she sensed my anxiety and from the very minute she met me could not do enough, my daughter was with me, and the two of us were blown away by her patience, understanding, and absolute determination to find me an outfit that I was happy with, she wasn’t a bit pushy, she was just wonderful. I was flying back to Ireland that night, and left the dress to be altered, and posted out to me, but to my surprise I got a phone call just a few hours later to say the dress was ready and that they would wait after the shop was closed so that I could collect and take it home with me. The service is absolutely beyond all expectations.Thanks Lisa I heard you were fairly new, you’re an absolute asset to the shop. I highly recommend this place.

I don't often take the time to do reviews however on this occasion I feel it is well deserved. We have been to Catherine of Partick's a number of times to purchase dresses for my two daughters. I have to say that on every occasion we have received exceptional customer service from the minute we have walked through the door from all the staff. Most recently we were attended to by Theresa who was very helpful, patient and friendly and assisted my daughter in finding the perfect dresses for my daughter's 21st birthday and Law Ball. I have to say that having visited other boutiques in the same line of business, Catherine's of Partick sets the highest of standards. I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. This place is different class and provides a very professional service, worth returning for. Thank you.

Yesterday my mum and I had a brilliant afternoon with the ladies in the shop. Janet was fantastic! My mum had a big list of all the things she didn't want when she first arrived, but Janet is so good at her job she was able to put my mum in the right dress, first time! And a dress was absolutely on the no list! Janet knew by looking at my mum exactly what would suit her. What a wonderful shop - I have never seen such a huge range of very gorgeous clothes for special occasions and really wish they had a branch in the south of England. I had an amazing afternoon choosing an outfit for my daughter's wedding (even my husband enjoyed it) and I found the perfect ensemble. I visited Catherines of Partick earlier this year for an outfit for my daughter's wedding. I had gone onto their website and was extremely impressed with the choice and quality they offered. I was not disappointed at their premises. I was very warmly greeted by staff as I entered the store and then was handed over to a lovely lady called Janice who spent the whole morning with me. Nothing was a bother to her and I tried on various outfits, all of which were absolutely beautiful. They offer everything you need for your special occasion - shoes bags and jewellery to compliment your outfit. I had a great time at the store and eventually picked the perfect outfit for the day. I would highly recommend this store as I found the staff very welcoming, friendly and so helpful. I plan to return in the near future as my second daughter will be getting married and know I will be completely satisfied with the service I receive there.

Went to Catherine’s of Partick with my Mum and Auntie looking for a Mother of the Bride outfit. Janet was wonderful, very helpful, friendly and great craic too! She listened to my Mum’s wishes and tried her in dresses she was describing but none were quite right. Worth the flight from London. Absolutely lovely, helpful, honest staff. I bought my Mother of the Bride dress in February at this lovely shop and have lost a little bit of weight since buying it. As I was coming up to visit my Mum in Airdrie this week I thought I’d take the opportunity to visit Catherine’s and try my dress on in a smaller size. I visited the shop this morning and was helped by a lovely lady Janice. After trying on the smaller size we decided that the original dress did fit better but required a couple of slight adjustments. I asked Janice if this could be done by Friday as I’m going home on Saturday so she popped and asked the seamstress if this would be possible. The seamstress Katrina came to see what adjustments were needed and said the work would be done by Friday.Amazing! I got home to Mum’s at 12.30 and imagine my surprise and delight when the phone rang at 2pm to say that my dress was ready! I was gobsmacked! I went straight back in to the shop, tried on my dress again and it’s absolutely perfect😀I cannot praise the attention to detail and professionalism of the staff at Catherine’s enough. Had a fantastic shopping experience at Catherines. I was looking for something a bit different to wear as a guest to a wedding and a friend suggested Catherines of Partick. There was a great selection of dresses and the member of staff helping me was lovely and very knowledgeable. There were so many gorgeous dresses to choose from that I ended up buying two! One of which I would not even of tried on if the lady helping me had not suggested it. I would definitely recommend popping in for a look no matter what occasion you need a dress for as despite what I initially thought it is not just Mother of the Bride outfits (however I can't wait until I go back to pick my own Mother of the Bride outfit!). I had seen a dress I liked on the internet and telephoned Catherines of Partick to see if they stocked it in my size. I was told they did and I decided to travel up and try it on. Two days later I went up to Glasgow from York and asked for Susan, who I'd spoken to on the phone. She remebered me, which was lovely and proceeded to help me try on several dresses, including the one I had come up to see. I can't speak highly enough of the service I had from the shop and Susan in particular. I had gone up by myself and I was concerned I would be pressured into buying an outfit, but this wasn't the case. I tried several outfits on and Susan brought hats to match. The advice she gave me was honest, helpful and friendly. I felt like I'd brought a friend with me actually. The dress I chose needed altering and Catherines did a super job that afternoon, so I could take my outfit back with me that day. Catherines has a wide choice of beautiful outfits. The shop is bright, well-lit and spacious. The assistants are warm, friendly and professional. If you want an outfit for a special occasion I would recomment them most highly. Thank you.

Visited Catherine's of Partick today to check out their mother of the bride outfits. I did not want a dress with bolero jacket or to feel pushed into anything. I couldn't have got it more wrong !! We were welcomed so warmly when we arrived and Deborah got on the job immediately finding out what I liked and let me pick and choose amongst the collection. She was very attentive but not pushy in the slightest. When I found something I liked she gave me shoes, a bag and a hat to see the full effect and did so for each outfit. I never felt rushed or persuaded and got exactly what I wanted. What a wonderful experience. The staff are all so lovely but Deborah who looked after me was a complete star. I had seen a dress on line which I feel in love with. I tried a few mother of the bride shops travelling to London and a few others, but none available and was told in all of them I wouldn't be able to get one. I then googled about 25 different shops around the country, as was now feeling rather desperate. After sending lots of emails and making many phone calls, I received a phone call from Mark at Catherines of Partick, who was so helpful and assured me he could get me my fabulous dress, although nobody else was prepared to even try. My husband and I drove from South Wales to Glasgow, so that I could see the dress and try on a sample. At the shop, which is so lovely, I was helped by Janet, who was so kind, as I was tired and uncomfortable after the 9hours it had taken to get there. Also Mark came to introduce himself and remembered my request, which impressed me as he deals with thousands of people. My dress is now on order and I cant wait to have it I know Glasgow is a long way to travel, for some, but I would urge any anybody who needs that special outfit to go to Catjerines of Partick.

(On behalf of my wife Michelle). While looking through Catherine’s of Patrick website I came across what I thought would be my ideal choice for my daughters wedding. After numerous calls and enquires dealing with Andrea, who always returned my calls and answered my quieries so promptly, I took the decision to travel all the way from North Wales on a Sunday (although this would be Andrea’s day off). Regardless we were greeted by an equally helpful lady called Janet. To my disappointment the dress I had made so many enquires about was not to my personal taste or fit, however after a brief discussion and summary with Janet regarding colours, style etc. she returned with several dresses. I immediately found the one that ticked all the boxes and was above and beyond my imagination. I took my mum here to get her dress for our wedding. We didn't make an appointment and got seen immediately. Janet was amazingly helpful. My mum didn't have any clear ideas for what she wanted but from her vague descriptions, Janet picked out a lovely dress that would go with her style and colour. My mum tried on loads of others, many were in styles she wouldn't normally pick but looked great in. Janet also helped her to pick out shoes and a hat to go with and gave some advice on a bag. We only really went in for a look but came out with a beautiful outfit! Tip - I didn't realise that they don't work with the fashion seasons. They get a whole load of stock in January, one dress in each size and that's it for the whole year. So you'd be best to go Jan/Feb regardless when your event is.
