Bought a number of items from them in the past, now a returning customer and bought a pair of Czech boots, they're actually brand new and have never been worn, although described as grade 1 used, see the attached photos. The boots fit well and are made from good quality leather. Great communication. I will buy from them again.

Just got a pair of Altberg Defender boots, I got wide fit (L) 2sizes up from my normal shoe size after some trial and error and I like a bit of width room for comfort & thick socks. Absolutely well happy with them Grade 1 is great. They are quality at a good price, ideal for walking.

Ordered a pair of ‘distressed’ Alt Bergs on Monday , got them yesterday … exactly as described good quality boots with a few minor scuffs and a little sole wear. Massive advantage that they are already broken in and I quite enjoy bulling them up . Top experience all round really from how easy it is to order , great delivery choices ,perfect product for me . I spent £63 on a pair of used Altberg Defender army boots for the higher ankle support. goarmy supplied a pair with new soles and laces, very good overall condition, better than expected to be honest. Well polished and broken in by some squaddie or sapper so I don't have to. Delivery courier was excellent and would recommend the boots and goarmy to anyone

I saved a fortune here! I needed two deployment bags for my kids who are cadets and are going to summer camp. The staff sorted me out with Dutch Army surplus bags which were in perfect condition and cost half of what I expecte. I love this place. It is everything you want in a army surplus store and more, a wide selection warehouse on tall racks and shelves, clean stock and efficient use of the space they have. I came in because it is the only place in Glasgow I know that sells German army butter dishes (want a decent container for my butter when I fry my eggs in the woods) . I bought a considerable amount but only spent about 30, but when I told my mate why we were walking from town to get an army butter dish he give me a look of "wutyaonaboot?" but to his surprise they had a decent stock. He ended up buying boots and other stuff for forestry work in a few months. The best army surplus store in Glasgow, definitely worth the walk, will come again, peacenluv

Got to love this place it's so tidy and they is space to open tent or sleeping bag up to see what the quilty is like and the clothing range is just so good compared to other army shops and there hardware (ie pouches) there is so much and different size got most of my kit like my tent, sleeping bag and bivi bag and a good price and it didn't breack the bank cause I am still at school. And the staff fantastic they are all helpful. Got my tent out of go army and there was not a fly sheet in the bag and saul went out his way to find one in the store don't think you would get that anywhere else.

Something of an Aladdins cave, with shelves piled with surplus military equipment from various nations. Goodly amount of current British Army MPT, but - at time of visit - nothing smaller than 32" waist, so limited utility for cadets, let alone short regulars / reservists. That's the good. Not so good: nothing is priced bar some small display pieces, which makes deciding value tricky, and some items are over priced. Still, no one is forced to buy. 4/5 I think is fair.
