Beautiful looking store. Home sector ok but would have liked more choice. Ladies wear was a really good mix of everything. Make up and perfumes looks impressive and the MAC make up lesson going on at the entrance was a brilliant idea. Mens wear casual was disappointing, formal/business was great. Loved the shoes and footwear but needed another assistant. Costa coffee by the entrance was nice.

It is a shop that has been recently renovated; totally changing it's appearance. In this new guise; it appears to the visitor, much more beautiful and luminous and all the items displayed for sale are placed in their counters in order and elegance. At this point, my visit to this shop starts from the make -up and perfume department and to my delight and not only mine , there are many and very famous brands .Naturally it is good to specify that the prices cannot be moderate; but if customers have the patience to wait, very interesting discounts are of ten made during the year. After the tour in this department, we go to that of clothing and leaker goods, where you can find : designer clothes, shoes and bags and not at various prices. ...in short they are within everyone's reach ; even the home furnishings department is very interesting to visit as you can find beautiful and sometimes original items at all prices ;the staff is always polite and helpful with all customers. To conclude, I am obliged to inform people that on the ground floor there is the" Coffee Costa",which protrudes with its tables,inside the Debenhams shop and here before making his visit to the departments the customer can, with complete relaxation, enjoy a good cup of coffee, before starting his tour in the various departments of the shop and it is not said that he cannot find something to buy.

Ok so debenhams have really upped there game. The beauty department has all the top brands and a mini bar with minis to buy and try. With top brands from America like jen Atkins hair products ouai. Staff are great. Rituals is here I got my advent calendar which I love. The restraunt customer service is excellent the food is so tasty and a great selection of choice on there menu. Vegetarian options are massive too and not boring. I'm so glad debenhams has gone better as I was worried for them last year but this year they are up and 2019 will be a great year for them I hope. Try the mozzarella and tomato tart it was divine. Thank you debenhams!

They have altered the layouts , place looks freasher than before , brighter ,more welcoming even , some good bargains when I visited , till was empty of staff , but as soon as I went near a member of staff served me quickly and pleasantly .. and there's a Costa !

My ex wife shops there. She's trendy and fashionable, so, it must be a good place to shop. A very good selection of perfumes there, as my 1st daughter went with me to buy. She took them to her sister overseas! A good place to shop. Valentine's season has quite inviting items around!

What a pleasant surprise! The home goods section is greatly improved with a lot of trendy items in great colours. We bought espresso cups, a throw and we could have spent a lot more. Then went for coffee and cake in the Kitchen cafe. Light and airy with a good selection of cakes and decent flat white. Loads of room to sit but some tables needing clearing. Would go again though.

Unfortunately, the stock available in these places and throughout the store is incredibly limited - lots of empty shelves and products out of stock so I was unable to purchase what I wanted, and was therefore advised on multiple occasions by different staff members to go elsewhere or order online to purchase the products. No wonder the stores aren't profitable.

I love a certain brand of clothing which I can only purchase here without having to shop online l can try on items in very nice changing rooms which are spacious and bright. I can get a Costa coffee or use Debenhams restaurant.Not many places left where there is a choice of different brands and very few shops that have clothing suitable for the older generation.

Went today to get a mother of the bride outfit. I hadn't got a clue and was going around in circles but then a Personal Shopper came to my rescue. Excellent service which I would highly recommend. I now have a beautiful dress, wrap and hat. Thank you and I will definitely use this service again.

The shop its self is ok. I do find that some of the staff, not all, come across as stuck up and are lacking personality to the point of being ignorant. This is a pet hate, which make me look elsewhere for my purchase. In the current financial climate and closures of Debenhams branches, this kind of attitude may not serve the business well I fear.

Called in to collect some items I'd ordered on-line using their "click & collect" service. It was easy to locate the collection point (which is on the first floor) and the staff member who served me was polite, friendly and efficient. I was away with my items within 10 minutes. There was a "Blue Cross" sale promotion in the store but the reductions were not significant enough (to my mind) from the normal quite pricey retail price. The store was warm, clean and well sign-posted inside.

Lovely store! Despite the new grey decor, it was light and seemed more open and stock was more visible. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The store was tidy and easy to move through with a pushchair. I'd definitely recommend.

City centre shopping precinct location laid out over several floors. The shop was bright and clean with fairly wide aisles. For some reason the in-store music volume was set to high and was more like a club! The depth of range was pretty good. Tbe ladies section, namely the hats, didn't have any mirrors and the odd few that were on that floor were not overly self evident. A few simple fixes would make this a great store.

Store has changed a lot, they have increased the makeup area with more makeup, handbags and bits of other female items, and decreased the mens section.....female section is downstairs why not put it there and leave more room for the mens section, no wonder this department store is struggling, I only spent my money in here as I had a voucher, this was my first choice to go when buying clothes but now I think I'll go to john Lewis as their mens section now has a lot more variety. Staff are nice though, shame this wont be my first choice now, and usually my first choice store is where I spend my money.

Went in for a new Bra first thing today and Carmen in the womens changing department was execllent. It took about 30 minutes to find the perfect fit and she couldnt have been more professional or knowledgeable about the range available. I would highly recommend the bra fitting service in Debenhams. Its the second time I've used this service and it's been excellent on both occasions. Great job Carmen!

Like any Debenhams store. It's got the usual amount of departments on offer. A Costa coffee is on one level and a restaurant is on the top floor as is the toilets. It's forms part of Highcross shopping centre. The store has been recently been refurbished. Car parking available in above the store belongs to shopping centre.

Overall it's a good store. Due to the financial situation of the company they seem to have offers on throughout the year. If you're a Debenhams account holder you'll get lots of vouchers through the post. On the whole the staff are great. Having said that there are a few members of staff that are lacking on customer service. For example they won't attempt to even scan a voucher. What's the worst that can happen the system will refuse the voucher. Lol

I find the lack of sizing options available in store for plus sizes disappointing. I was able to find the outfit I wanted online but it was sheer luck that it fit. Such a big store should be able to hade a wider variety of sizes available.

Recently returned from a visit to Debenhams at Highcross. After chatting to the Givenchy assistant, Ed, I was given a free make - over. What a lovely experience it was! Ed was very chatty, friendly and professional and I was thrilled with the finished results. No pressure to buy any of the products but I will definitely be going back to Ed when I need new make up. Thoroughly recommend Ed and Givenchy. Thank you!

My review is about Debenhams in general. When will they tumble to the fact that all these "sales" are lowering the tone of the shops. I saw a coat at £95 and said to my husband I will wait a week. Sure enough the coat came down to £66. Low and behold in the Boxing Day sales, same coat on sale £75. When will they get it. We are quite intelligent. I shop in Silverburn shop and the staff are lovely. It's the top of the tree that's got the problem. Think they know everything when actually they know heehaw!!

Wow what can I say, hot, hot, hot. All credit to the staff during this visit, the hottest day of the year and they had cranked the heating right up. Amazing store selling a wide variety of products, from clothes to kitchen essentials, etc. Plenty of sales and discounts throughout the whole store and you can't complain about savings on some essentials. Plenty of menswear including a wide variety of suits and formal wear.bThere's also an adorable café on the upper floor with a selection of goodies. Give it a try next time you go around to the shops!

Generally Debenhams is an outdated department store ( in my opinion). Other high street stores seem to do everything better. You can get a wide variety of products here but their range and selection is very limited.

We like going here to try out the aftershaves/perfumes especially around Xmas time. Great place to go for Xmas presents with the foodie gifts section. Its a very big shop, sometimes with more staff than customers especially in the make up department. I don't like how the clothes are arranged by designer, like if i want a new shirt there isn't a section for shirts i have to look at each designers section, it gets very boring and frustrating looking and looking around to see if you've missed any section as its a bit of a maze.

Now when looking at this store l feel when they done the refit on the Cambridge branch they should have visited loughbourgh store before making the changes they did. Ease of access around the store was great and the stock levels where outstanding no left cages on shopfloor with plenty of active staff, Queues being managed and worked as you would want with the build up to Christmas and l can honestly say its one of the best Debenhams l have been in over the past year.

A really enjoyable shopping trip here yesterday. Despite not finding anything, I think we're in between seasons..I can still appreciate that there was a lot of choice. The attendants in the changing room were friendly and I like how there are different mood lightings e.g. outdoor lighting or work lighting. We also stopped for a coffee on the Costa coffee that is situated in store. There was a very nice atmosphere, even on a Saturday it wasn't too busy and loud to enjoy a mid-day drink.
