All Round Excellence! I have visited the Assos store in Regent Street on a couple of occasions in the last few months. Both visits have been very pleasurable experiences. The staff have been courteous and extremely knowledgeable on their products and the technology/development behind the materials and design. It’s rare to come across genuine enthusiasm from sales staff but the guys here are an exception to that situation. It would appear that they live cycling! The store is immaculate and well laid out. The stock they carry… well, you couldn’t expect for anything more. I never felt under pressure and was able to try on various sizes to ensure the fit suited; the static bike they have is a great help to get things just right. A top all-round experience; I can’t deny I felt a sense of joy! I will be returning. Not a store review but I will add that the kit I’ve come away with has been exceptional. The GTO bibs I purchased are in a completely different league to anything else I’ve worn.

I have been cycling most of my adult life. Still, over the past few years, I have struggled to work out what kit I really needed to deal with the daily commute and enjoy riding at the weekend. I had been recommended to try Assos bibs, but I was a little nervous, having gained a few lock-down pounds. Paul and his team, past and present, took the time I needed to help me get comfortable with what bibs would work for me. The team has been a pleasure to work with from that purchase onwards (and there have been quite a few of those), helping me with just the right combinations of what I needed for whatever the weather or miles threw at me. If you are in the market for kit this is the place to go in London.

Went into store to purchase some new gear for the upcoming winter, Paul and Tash were incredibly helpful in selecting the items I needed, taking time to listen to my requirements and advise on what would be best. I'm always sceptical about taking advice on fit, however after one ride it soon became evident that they were spot on. Very rarely leave reviews, but would recommend this store without hesitation. Very happy customer and will be returning.

Amazing Assos shop, if a little bit intimidating. I wish they had more women’s clothing. Assos shorts are fantastic - I never had any problems cycling 100 miles + until I tried other brands! Worth the money.

WOW! I loved the first pair of bibs but had a fabric issue. Emailed and was told it was not the fabric. I escalated my complaint and received a coupon code for new bibs. On further review I discovered the problem was completely my fault. They took care of me and stood behind the product. I am an Assos bib purchaser for life. Not to mention the chamois technology really is the best! Long ride comfort!

Yes it's expensive but it's the Rolls Royce of cycling garments, along with an equally phenomenal customer service department. I had to return a waterproof jacket due to a tight zip and they didn't quibble to replace it with the latest model of jacket, which was £120 more than the original that I ordered. Chapeau guys.

I have been a regular customer of the shop for a good few months now. My experience there just gets better and better. The staff are extremely knowledge, enthusiastic and always have coffee on offer...I used to say I would never wear a high value 'boutique' brand for cycling, however, these guys have totally changed my thought process....I know wear nothing but Assos!

Great staff, some unexpected bargains, really helpful. Obviously this is high end and more expensive cycling gear. But if you're a keen cyclist after quality goods and some top customer service then ditch the online order once in a while and pop in to the shop.

Visited this store in downtown London with the intention of buying some bibs. Store was beautifully done up, with a huge range of current and past season products. Service rendered to me was impeccable, allowing me to try on the bibs and even ride on the trainer to get an even better feel of the product. The shop assistant was helpful and patient throughout, and I could not have asked for a better experience.

Went in with a question on naming of their clothing, got a long, helpful explanation by two super knowledgeable and friendly guys. Not pushy, not at all intimidating. Just wanted to see the range in the flesh but ended up buying a jacket which I love. Looking forward to going back, I need a base layer and some bibtights.

Assos shorts where have you been all my life. As a rider who like to spend five house plus in the saddle I was really keen to try out the new Assos T.Cento S7 shorts as they are recommended for endurance riders. The experience began in London, I was there visiting friends so I took the opportunity to pop to the Assos store in Piccadilly. My first impression was great I was greeted by friendly staff, offered a coffee and made the feel very welcome. After browsing the range of products I asked a staff member if I could try on some bib shorts. I was offered great advice on size for the two models of shorts I wanted to test. These where the T.Campionissimo S7 and the T.Cento S7. Unlike anywhere else I have tried cycle clothing I was offered a base layer to try them with, then a bike on a trainer to sit on and pedal so I could get a feel for how they suit me in use. This test was invaluable as I found the T.Campionissimo S7 had a bit to much compression for me and my style and type of cycling. Where as the T.Cento S7 was obviously very comfortable. The size was also one down from what I was expecting. I now purchased the highest priced short I have ever brought with confidence I had made a great choice. This choice was obviously a good one as on the first ride in them they where instantly comfortable. It's hard to describe the fit accurately, nothing about the shorts stands out and that's exactly what makes them the best I have ever used in my opinion. My first ride was just 3 hours steady paced ride and I returned home feeling as happy as when I left. One noticeable point was I did not have to adjust the fit during my ride once this I found unusual as with most other shorts there is always a bit if shifting about. My second and third ride came on consecutive days a small bike packing adventure. 7 hours day one with an overnight stay and 8 hours back the next morning. This ride confirmed it these where the best shorts I have ever used. My experience was one of constant comfort both on the way out and on the way back. I was not feeling any after effects of day one in the sit bone area or perineum. The padding is perfectly comfortable, it's stable as in it dose not shift about so I have had no need for and chamois cream yet. The shoulder brace is light and soft so it dose not pull at my shoulders, as I have a long torso this has been an issue for me with other brands. Comfort breaks are easy as the brace allows you to go without pulling you into a strange doubled over position. The leg gripper is secure and very soft, after my ride I was not aware of any discomfort from the gripper. How something so soft and comfortable can stay in place so well is testament to Assos attention to details in development. I have had the same experience with and without leg or knee warmers. Some things I want to add about this current range of shorts. 1. They are not expensive in my opinion they give amazing value for money as the deliver comfort and durability in larger volume than other shorts in the market to reflect the price tag. And if the durability is similar to my previous purchases from the brand then they will outlast many lower priced alternatives. 2. I believe the price tag is arrived at due to the use of bespoke materials and pads, materials that where at least five years in the development. This dedication to research and development has to have cost the company a lot and therefore reflects in the price tag. 3. One pair of these shorts is worth 3 pairs of others I have in my drawer so I am very happy with the value they offer me. I have one major problem with these shorts I am packing for a 3 day ride in Vietnam and I only have one pair. Tough choices I think I will be packing some travel wash and be washing them in my hotel sink each night so I can use them on everyday of the ride. I will undoubtedly be buying a second pair soon so I can use them every time I ride.

I visited this store with my son to purchase some winter trousers & jacket, the store is lovely, great set up great choice of gear, my issue and this Is something which spoils many bike shops, the staff thinking they are the font of all knowledge, young people with an unjust air of superiority/snobbery, I assume they get great staff discount on Assos gear over the high retail prices we pay so gives the attitude, which I don't like, I have used Assos products for years and I know what works for me, the staff member was telling me he didn't believe me when I said I wanted extra large as he says I'm a large, the fact I couldn't get the trousers over my hips or breath comfortably in the jacket didn't seem to enter the equation, shopping is mean to be fun, my son who Lives in London was gobsmacked at some of the comments from the sales advisor, at first we laughed on the way home but on reflection its not good to be spoken to like that, I've been cycling for decades, I buy lots of bikes and lots of gear, I've stopped dealing with companies who have these young staff with this kind of attitude, I think staff need to be conscious of what they say to paying customers, I like visiting stores but this reinforces the option for online shopping, going into your shop and buying your products was not a positive experience for me.
