I loved this shop, decades ago, when I was growing up in London. I love this shop just as much now, living in NYC and using the website. The customer service is great, they use unbelievably speedy shipping, and the product is as good as it ever was. The clothes are the best of British: economical, endlessly stylish, and built to last. I ordered a brown wax Harrington jacket from Ben Nevis Clothing on Saturday and received a phone call a few hours later to let me know it was ready to collect. The service was excellent. The wax Harrington jacket is absolute quality, very smart and fits true to size. I would expect to pay a lot more for a jacket of this quality. I would definitely recommend their Harrington jackets, as well as proper old fashion customer service.

Another great purchase from Ben Nevis clothing. Bought a Donkey jacket from them a few years back and decided i needed another this time with the leatherette shoulders and also one of the slim fit light weight Alpha bomber jackets. 31/22/2020 Ben Nevis received my order at 13.59 and the next day at 9.26am my husband received his Harrington jacket, on his birthday!.. excellent quality and fits perfectly. What a wonderful service, we are now looking at what other items to buy next. 5/1/2021 Prompt delivery as always, advised items would arrive between 8.46-9.46am... literally arrived at 8.46! A plus qualty and customer service was amazing. Dispatched to the US in record time. I wear my jacket nearly every day and get compliments often. Made in the UK and affordable. I live in the US. I went online and bought two combat jackets in two sizes, planning to keep whichever fit and return the one that didn’t. DON’T DO THIS. Returning the unwanted jacket, including return shipping and UK customs fees, which Ben Nevis charged back to me, cost way more than the purchase price of the unwanted jacket. (£32 in customs for a £50 jacket that was made in the UK, purchased from the UK, and returned to the UK. What’s up with that?) Only buy if you are sure the size, color, fabric and style are exactly what you want, because returning items to this seller is very expensive. That said, the jacket itself is nicely tailored, and matches the seller’s description.

Being big I struggle to find good affordable jackets. Ben Nevis has a great selection of coats in big sizes at a very reasonable price. I’ve purchased 4/5 jackets from them in store and their customer service is second to none who ever is helping you. Monday morning I received an email saying my order has been dispatched and will be delivered on Tuesday by DPD. Tuesday my order arrived at 12:35. Ordered an Alpha Industries coat that was impossible to find in the states. I finally stumbled on their site as a retailer that could ship to the US. They had the actual measurements of the coat in each size, which was a huge help since their Euro sizing is much different than US sizing. It arrived in California in only 2 days somehow, and was a perfect fit. Will definitely do business with these guys again.

Camdens best kept secret. I've been coming here since the 70s,the quality is the same although the staff are younger! Difficult to display all they stock but the boys will get you exactly what you need,their knowledge is second to none. Well worth a trip to experience the Nevis factor.
