T. S. L.Over seventeen years ago Sam was so fed up with intimidating high-end department stores that she decided to set up a women’s boutique of her own, The Cross in Holland Park. When it all started, being at a time of yet another recession, most people were keeping it safe by stocking the well-known designers we’re told to aspire to. Contrary to the norm, Sam set out to support upcoming labels knowing all too well how hard it was to get stocked by the stores you love. (Sam was also making handbags at the time.)
