Bought my first 3 piece suit here and I love it. Wasn’t much of a suit-wearing guy but I wanted something classy for my sister’s wedding. Jenna was fantastic. She helped me pick out every last item, right down to the cufflinks, making sure each piece complimented the overall look. I needed some alterations done to make it feel tailored, and Adam was expert at gauging the right fit for me and exactly where the alterations were needed. I only had to wait a few days for it to come back, and it’s perfect. I think I’m a suit-wearing guy now. The quality of fabric is great, and so satisfying to wear. The clothes are surprisingly versatile too, I’ve tried just the trousers and braces with a roll neck and sneakers, and it looks genius. This is easily one of my favourite stores in London. I could spend hours trying on tweed jackets and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. 10/10.

You will never find another store with the old-classics so well preserved. The History, the attention to quality and detail, and the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. Incredibly helpful in allowing me to try on multiple suits, and even helping to guide me stylistically to make sure I had the best fit. I would go back in a heartbeat, it is a worthwhile stop even if you're unable to make a purchase. Simply to see the level of detail poured into the design, layout and execution of this shop takes me back to yesteryear with ease. Eager to return.

I do love this vintage looking clothing shop. It had some of the must well thought out designs for men's jackets be it half belted backs to the colours and materials used. My only issue is that I am short so they don't tend to fit me well. But I love the designs. What I do have are baker boy caps, flat caps, Panama hats and fur felt fedoras. They are beautifully made. The staff are friendly and I took a star off as I have been waiting months for my new hat. Every dapper chap should go to this store. I have put it to 5 stars as I have worn this hat they ordered for me and I absolutely love it. I get wonderful comments from random people in the street or at work. They love it. I love it and thinking back even if it was a long wait I know the staff did chase it up for me to get it. I love it so much I brought the brown version. My boyfriend and I are visiting the UK and made a stop into this cute store by surprise and it was by far the best part of our trip. We were greeted with such love and kindness. My boyfriend ended up getting two lovely suits from Thomas Farthing and they went above and beyond to help coordinate his wardrobe. Adam not only picked colors that would best suit my boyfriend but he also went above and beyond and had one a suit custom tailored as we had a wedding to attend a week after. I have never been so pleased with this kind of treatment. Everyone was so friendly and we basically came in as strangers and left as friends. Jenna was an absolute doll and helped my find a beautiful sun hat for my mom and even offered to have it shipped back to US for me. The vibes, the employees and the style of the shop were so memorable I have told everyone I know that plans to visit the UK to stop in. I appreciate you all and thank you for being so hospitable. An amazing menswear store. Thomas Farthing knows exactly who it wants to be and who it wants to serve. The collection is too wonderful. Often made with vintage fabrics for limited run collections. The service inside is top notch. Staff is more than willing to accommodate. Go in and try on a jacket or a hat. You'll be very happy you did.

My sons and I recently purchased a suit each (for a wedding) from Thomas Farthing, and compared to other suit suppliers, the service provided was second to none! Nothing was too much trouble, and when they were out of my size in the style that we had all chosen, Adam and his wife rang through to get another jacket manufactured. When I went for a fitting a few weeks later, Kit took care of everything, and made all necessary adjustments to ensure that it was ready on time for the big day! Cannot recommend then highly enough. Finally made my pilgrimage to Thomas Farthing this week from Milwaukee Wisconsin. And It exceeded my expectations . What a cool , old school shop . I had the honors in meeting the owners Adam and his charming wife , who are fabulous people. They Spent a lot of time helping me pick out the perfect threads for me . The cloths they have are worth every penny and then some. So well made , and tested for every season . I hope Thomas Farthing is around for a very very long time . Looking forward to going back . We were in London for a Rememberance Day event and my veteran husband wanted a unique, special jacket to wear with his medals. As I'm a historically obsessed theatre costume designer I was already a fan of Thomas Farthing's clothes and advertising campaigns so I suggested we try there. Walking in the shop is immediately stepping back in time. The man who served us provided great service and has an excellent eye for fit and complimentary styles. The entire experience with the shop was very satisfying. Not only did my husband find the perfect jacket but spotted an ideal coordinating hat we bought as well. This is not a place to go for bargain shopping, this is a place to go for something special, unique and very well made.

Thomas Farthing is a lovely store that specializes in early 20th century couture. Though it is mostly men's clothing, there is also womenswear too. This neat shop has quite a lot to offer. There's accessories from collar pins to fashionable handmade hats for proper gents as well as more casual looks. Thomas Farthing is neatly organized, and it has a extraordinary aesthetic! The team has impeccable attention to detail too; merchandise is perfectly laid and presented. The store has superior customer service with a true and candid desire to please their customers. A hat I had purchased at the shop had a rip in the seam in the lining, which was not so much a flaw in the craftsmanship as much as probably being tossed around too much or other such. The gents working there did their utmost to make sure that the hat would be repaired, and they did have it mended! The staff, also, is remarkably superior. They are outgoing and the friendliest people I came across in ALL of London, which says much because most Londoners are very friendly anyway. The staff is only the most willing to help their clients with anything! Another very important detail to mention too is the packaging and paper. The bags that your merchandise is placed in has quality and definitely stands out from all the other shop bags. Their business cards are also quite astonishing; the cards are are designed with skill. I am a graphic designer, and I must say that several corporate companies cannot compare to the graphics (and service) at this fine establishment. The hat and cap boxes are also very lovely. All in all Thomas Farthing has to be the best store I have yet to shop at in my entire life. The experience was fun, and I didn't want to leave! Thank you Thomas Farthing!!!

Right by the British Museum, we discovered it one afternoon and it was a pleasant encounter. They stock stylish traditional clothing and accessories from tweed suits and caps to bow ties to everything else you might need to be the classic dapper individual. Great stuff and well worth a visit even if you're not into this burgeoning trend.

Found myself in That London for a couple of days and whilst wandering around I stumbled upon this little gem of a shop. So often shops of this kind can be a little off putting to browsers but the staff today (13/10/16) were warm and welcoming. Very impressed to see them adjust a hat with foam for another customer to ensure he had the best possible fit! I also had the good fortune to find the very fedora that I had been looking for. Of course I had no idea before I entered Farthings that I was looking for another fedora, but that's how things work out best don't y'think? The price was great too! If you find yourself in Covent Garden or at The British Museum I strongly suggest you pay Farthings a visit. You won't regret it.

It was a pity that the box was closed with a large hole for import inspection regardless of this shop. I have bought Hanna hats several times so far. Compared to Hanna hats, this hat has a nice texture, especially the lining, and has a batting core, making it three-dimensional. The price of sale items is a little cheaper. The size matches the store information. I think it's because it's easy to handle in the store, but the delivered product has no noticeable wrinkles or habits, and it regains its original shape with just a little ironing, and it has a very beautiful shape. Even if it's cold outside, my head doesn't feel cold. I think I made a good purchase at a good store.
