I had a first class experience at Slaters Mens Outfitters in Norwich. Harry was great and helped me select a 3 piece suit and all the accessories for a family wedding . Harry has a great friendly manner and helped with measuring and sorting out the adjustments that were necessary to achieve the perfect fit . The alterations are also free of charge , another bonus ! Well done Harry and we’ll done Slaters for such a great selection. I also took home a happy wife !

Purchased a three piece suit from a very large choice that they have, trousers were altered for me and were ready by date specified but did not look right. Spoke to Simon and explained that I needed the suit in less than a week. He couldn't help enough and really put my mind at rest by arranging to have them altered again for a couple of days time and told me if I wasn't happy with them on collection that I could sit and wait whilst they were altered to my satisfaction. Simon wasn't there when I went to pick them up as he had to be elsewhere but spoke to Matthew who was equally attentive and the trousers were a perfect fit. Really good shopping experience with these staff members. Well recommended.

We found the store almost by accident, meeting a very happy couple coming out having experienced the store and it’s staff experience. They couldn’t be more complimentary. We went inside and up to the second floor where we met Jack, an incredibly smart young man with a quiet personable approach. My partner needed a lounge suit for a summer wedding and a smart/ casual jacket and trousers for a funeral. Jack showed us the areas to look, we required his assistance and he was so helpful without being overbearing, nothing was too much trouble. He offered good advice and gave us time to consider. We still cannot believe we got everything my partner needed. Quality was second to none but at great value. I visited for the first time to buy some clothes for the first time in a long time (as a bigger guy I avoid clothes shopping, "i'll buy some when ive lost weight"...). When I arrived I (nervously) asked for some help and was introduced to Lilla, I explained I wanted a "capsule" wardrobe (as instructed by the wife). The level of time, effort, and service I recieved from Lilla was first class. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She was focused and listened to my preferences, suggesting excellent clothes. I have an 'odd' body shape (I carry weight weird, and can never find clothes that fit properly), Lilla found clothes that fitted me! After many hours I walked out with a whole new wardrobe! I literally wont shop anywhere else now, no chance. Slaters, I hope you recognise your staff when they go above and beyond. Thank you Lilla.

Costed Slaters last year, purchased a suit for my wedding but due to Covid the wedding had been delayed for over a year, tried my suit on yesterday and unfortunately I couldn’t fit into it, contacted the Norwich store where I got the suit from and was asked to bring it in. Matthew in store today was very understanding of our situation and went above and beyond in helping me resolve the problem, found the correct size and got it adjusted there and then in store so did not have to wait long at all. After initially calling in the Norwich store for 4 suits for a wedding party. We were attended to straight away on a very busy Sunday morning. All suits measured and fitted and given a quick turn around time for collection we left very pleased and confident. On return we were again served immediately. We were sold shirts and given advice on shoes etc.....Then unfortunately we had some very sad news that the best man could no longer attend as a very close relative had passed away. I called the store to get some advice on what we could do with the suit purchased etc. I was dealt with with compassion, courtesy and some real helpful advice. I returned to the store the next day for the new best man to be measured up etc for a new suit. Every time I have had to contact this store or make a visit I and the wedding party have been treated with OUTSTANDING customer service. My son has special needs (we didn't mention this) but he was put at ease and felt totally comfortable. (this was a big deal for him) I cannot praise the staff enough. There was nobody that stood out....THEY ALL DID.....I hope this reaches the powers that be as I realise how important it is for people to feel valued and feel they are doing a good job. Great customer service. The floor staff are not on commission and Slater's don't advertise. They rely on word of mouth and repeat custom. Apart from the helpful and positive attitude of the staff, the reasonable prices and good stok the clincher for me is that the offer free alterations. They see themselves as a discounted retailer, yet the level of service feels more like a bespoke tailor. I bought a tweed jacket, matching waistcoat and a pair of slacks. The total came to £152 and for that I am getting alterations to the shoulders, sides and arms, the waistcoat is being nipped and styled to fit my "pear" shaped torso and the trousers shortened by half an inch and the waist being eased by the same amount. This was my first purchase there but it definitely won't be my last.

Oh how I love this store they have a massive selection of men's formal/casual wear i visit everytime i go shopping in Norwich. They can provide alterations to clothes you by from them all the staff are excellent and helpful who offer impartial advice should you require or ask ensuring you get the items you require through their fantastic customer service. I intended to rent a tuxedo for an event. As it was a beautiful day I decided that I would walk to all the options available in Norwich for rentals to get my step count up for the week. This was my first stop. The people in here were fantastic and offered honest advice on my options, citing prices for various other stores. I vetted 2 of their quotes for other shops later on and found them to be accurate. The best option was to buy a tuxedo instead as the cost was about 15% higher but would offer a better fit and a more permanent option. As I found them to be honest people I decided that they would be the ones to take my companies money. I have no dress sense at all and received great advice on suitable options for my build. I was very pleased with my purchases!

I went to Slaters for the first time as part of a group to purchase wedding suits, the salesman 'Tom' was outstanding, but the whole service was excellent. Tom helped us match previously purchased Slater suits for the groom, immediately identifying the style, very impressive! However the most telling part of this experience was when he advised that they stopped providing children's suits for purchase, but still went in the the storeroom and eventually found a suit for my son (9 YO) a page boy for the groom. - Tom keep up the good work, I will be back for my work suits in future, highly recommend this company.

I hired 15 suits for my wedding this year. Slaters of Norwich were superb! Nothing was ever too much effort and everything went so smoothly considering I had so many suits. Every suit was perfect. Me, my family and my friends come in all shapes and sizes and all the groomsmen complimented the service from Slaters, the comfort and class of the suits. The price was very competitive I would highly recommend Slaters if you are looking at hiring suits for a wedding.......no matter how big the grooms party!

Very knowledgable on suits, I'm an awkward size being 6 foot 8 inches and somewhat skinny around the waist. They knew exactly how to accommodate for me. I had an issue with some trousers that were damaged after a week of wear and they no longer had those trousers in stock as apparently I'd bought the last pair of my size. I'd also come to pick up the 2nd pair I'd bought that had been sent off to be altered. They were willing to provide me with 2 pairs from new material and the matching suit jacket to replace the damaged pair and the pair I'd come to collect as they were now a different material! Fortunately they could source some of the old material to have some new ones made up but the fact they were willing to replace 2 trousers and a suit jacket worth around £180 demonstrated how much they care about returning customers. I will certainly be visiting again in the future!
