I was blown away by the service and range here as had customer service that I forgot could exist in this time and age. This is a beautiful clothing shop with an incredible selection of elegant and premium quality clothing. I not only found the staff eager to help, but Matt and the team gave me style tips to bring an outfit to life, not just recommending fantastic clothing but how to complete an ensemble.

Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff with a great selection of quality clothing. I not only got some smart clothes but also learned about styling as well. There are a lot of places to get nice clothes, but I recommend going here and chatting with the staff. You'll be glad you did. I was!

Fantastic service, quality tailoring, friendly, patient and highly professional, with over 150 years experience! I had to be fitted for clerical robes (not sold by the company) and Matt expertly took all the countless, complicated measurements for free, truly amazing. I have also purchased quite a few other items of evening wear, blazers, academic robes etc from them previously, and they are all great quality, and expertly fitted. Shepherd & Woodward, like Blackwell's, is one of Oxford's most iconic shops, and as such MUST survive this pandemic. I can't recommend them highly enough!!

Great little store. Selection is limited but interesting. Quality over quantity, I suppose. A lot of Barbour but also some Scottish cashmere. Friendly and helpful staff. If you are lucky, you can find good deals on out of season clothing.

Brilliant service when hiring suits for our wedding! The staff were very patient with us as we worked out exactly what type and patterns we wanted. Brian in particular was amazing.
