Excellent service at this store in Stoke on festival park. The store is large one with plenty of stock and all neatly layed out. The customer service is outstanding especially from Kelsey, Frankie and Jo. They really helped with a deal on a tent I had seen in another store.

I went to the Go Outdoors in Stoke yesterday to buy some hiking boots last mintute 🙈 as i have a big hike trek in 2 weeks. I cant remember his name but the gentleman there, that helped me find exactly what I needed was brilliant. Top end service and new exactly what he was talking about.

2022 update: Fishing Republic staff are very good especially Paul. Lots of choice for outdoor lifestyle. Great array of fishing gear, camping, caravan, sports and biking equipment. Staff friendly and prices are reasonable. You do need a membership card to take advantage of the discount prices which in some cases are worth more than the £5 is will cost.

Finally getting in store. Friendly staff advice on entering masks in store and sanitise stations to use. Well set out plenty of space. Loads of offers extra discounts on in-store purchases on many things. Great to actually get advice face to face'ish! Got some extra bits which you wouldn't get online impulse buys and stuff you just forgot you need toilet chem maybe ha! Great new store plenty of parking. Having had a ‘not so good experience’ at the Southport branch of Go Outdoors, I was perhaps slightly apprehensive about visiting the Stoke (Festival Park) branch. All I can say is “chalk and cheese”! A member of staff (Sophie) asked if I needed any assistance and from that moment on, I was given really helpful and knowledgeable advice, nothing was too much trouble and I ended up with the perfect selection of items that unfortunately, my visit to the other store was not able to provide. I have no hesitation in giving this store 5 stars. The other member of staff that I interacted with was equally pleasant and helpful and contributed to the overall positive shopping experience. A real asset to the Go Outdoors chain.

Me and my partner were in today to purchase a pair of walking trainers for myself. I can’t fault the young lad named Antony who was stationed on the shoe area. He was excellent, really good rapport, chatty but knowledgeable. I have an odd size of shoe a 4 and a half which is hard to find. So sometimes I can fit a 4 sometimes a 5. He managed to get me sorted with a pair of merrel trainers which weren’t even on display, understanding that as they were made from a softer material the 4 might just fit. Which they did. I’d also like to say that we’re loving the new location much easier to get to and the parking is much more convenient. We will be visiting again soon.

Large free car park . Everything on one level, set out well with everything you can think of to provide for outdoor activities. Clothing department. Very helpful staff. Different brands goods depending on your budget . Not just one place to pay for goods.

Good value products, but massively let down by two things. 1. The car park is closed, we had to pay £1.30 for just 39 minutes pay and display in 3 spaces on the road by the front of the store. 2. Most of the staff we met at the tills who didnt seem to know what was going on (though the bike man was great). Let's hope the car park opens again as I think this is a key requirement when you sell large items for collection and are out of the way of a regular shopping area or public transport.

I will never go anywhere else to get my boots again! I normally go to this store to get my general outdoor goods, but have only ever bought one pair of boots there before. I needed boots for norway and snow and had a good budget, rather than just pointing out the expensive boots (which I have found most sales people will do if you give them a good budget) I was given several to try on and told about all of the features and differences of each one. The boots were also checked to see if they fit me properly. I am a discount card holder and thought I would google the boots I was buying to see if I could take advantage of their price match and I was able to easily and quickly get a much lower price at the till. I love the staff at this store they are always friendly and knowledgeable.

I decided to stop here on my way home from a week in the Peak District. A very decent sized store with the tent display area indoors. I found everything I wanted and the staff at the tills seemed friendly. I was a bit disappointed to have to pay to use the nearby car park as most GO stores I've visited have included free parking. But it was only £1 for an hour's stay. Signage towards the car park wasn't brilliant but that's hardly the store's fault and I imagine local people may have greater awareness. I'd visit again if I needed to. But, due to the parking issue, it wouldn't be my first choice of store if another was available along the same route.

Went in to buy some walking boots. The person that helped me was very informative, patient and helpful. Due to her service I actually bought them even though they were £10 more than online shops. My only gripe work Go Outdoors is this £5 registration to get normal high Street prices. I could get these boots for £139 elsewhere but GO sold them for £149 with the card or £179 without the card. Basically your paying £5 to be able to pay high Street prices. Not a bad con really. I might go more often if they weren't so expensive Other than that I'm happy with what I bought.

Just returned a pair of hi gear walking boots that came away at the soul after only 3 wks if use and got a full refund from the very helpful staff but was surprised to be told at the till by the assistant that in future i should go for the mid to high range and to which i replied that even the low range boots should not fall bits after such a short period and his reply was you get what you pay for?. I assume that this advice was go outdoors policy or am i just out of touch with customer support.
