J. U.Huge store with good stock of multiple activity areas. Got what I came for, in summary they have wide array of fishing gear, decent bike area, huge array of tents and camping gear, some water activity, large array of clothing and footwear. Nearly got lost inside. Good to see this site updated this way.

Visited the Swindon branch today and was amazed at how big this store really was. Specifically went for the fishing section and there was such a big range. Staff were really helpful especially Kev and Helen. So friendly and nothing was too much for them. Will definitely be visiting them again soon

I’ve just purchased a camper van and this evening went to go outdoors in Swindon to buy every think you need for camping. At the till I was joking about the money I’ve just about to spend. Also waiting on the manger to bring the bottle of gas out. He saw that my spending was £££ and he offer me if I was a member of any clubs. I was joking around about the spending i was about to spend. The Manger was so kind that I had extra discount added. Wow what a lovely and kind person the manager was. Now that is what you call customer service. Totally recommend the new store in Swindon.
A. R.Went there today. Great service and currently there is a sale on. Go now while stokes last.good access by car lots of parking wheelchair accessible ground floor. First floor lift being fixed.
B. P.Been to the new Go Outdoors in Stratton and just wanted to point out there is no way to get your trolley (or wheelchair / buggy) up the stairs so you have to leave it unattended downstairs. I'm assuming the designer of the new shop didn't think about the practically of this and providing a customer lift? Also, the shop is meant to do Click & Collect (seen signs in store) but the Go Outdoors website doesn't have the new store as an option listed. It only shows Oxford as nearest store to Swindon. These two things are really basic things that need sorting as it alienates customers, especially the disabled. Otherwise really nice shop with good product range with friendly staff.
