E. R.Always like a visit to Café Mauds. I used to go with my daughter sometimes after school. Now we bring our granddaughter, she and I had ice creams on our most recent visit and my husband had coffee and a scone with jam and cream. There is a good selection of ice cream flavours and plenty of other options if you don't want ice cream. Good for a visit before or after the park (Drumglass Park is directly opposite).

Entrance & Exit are blocked either ways. 2 busy girls on the Ice cream counter runs under pressure & other 2 just stand there & watch & even The Manager doesn't seem bothered. I wld just say that lucky 3nough to be busy in these circumstances.

Food is always good, ice cream is bomb and the staff are friendly helpful but the only downfall is the presentation of the cheesecakes and cakes that i coulda bought from a shop and made it look better with more effort. J. J.Food was good a ham turkey and cranberry stuffed wrap and a cajun chicken and avocado. The problem is that staff seemed to be reluctant to clear tables and get people seated. Waited in a q for a table where there where tables with people gone. Need to sharpen up
S. H.Visited here some while ago, during lockdown. Staff were lovely and very accommodating, service was great and food was excellent. If I had one criticism it would be this, I ordered poached eggs with bacon, poached eggs were excellent, however, the bacon appeared to have been deep fried, (a poor chefs / cooks lazy way to cook bacon). Had the bacon been fried the tradional way it would've been 5 stars.
Nonetheless, I would go back and just not have the bacon. Onk! Onk!

P. H.AMAZING!!! This place is so cute and the food is incredible! We had the breakfast butty, Belgian waffle with fruit and Poo Bear ice cream, the caramel euclair, and a latte. The staff were all very friendly and wonderful.

M. L. T.Cafe Mauds is a busy cafe in the heart of the Lisburn Road, Belfast. They serve a large selection of ice cream and sweet treats ranging from german biscuits and traybakes to cakes, pastries and sundaes. They also serve a good selection of savoury food. They have soft drinks, juices, water, teas and coffees. It is a very busy place and can be a tad noisy so if it's a quiet coffee catch up with a friend that you're after then it isn't ideal especially due to the constant need for tables, you won't be able to linger. They have both sit-in and take-away counters for the ice-cream.

L. P.We called in yesterday for iced coffees and ice-cream, the ladie with short hair served us and was so smiley and lovely throughout. A friend got the goats cheese salad and gave me a taste. It was delicious. Thank you Maud's for being wonderful. The rest of the staff waved us goodbye on the way out. All very efficient and friendly.
C. M.A bit hectic when we where there. I think table service would be much better than getting people to queue up as there isn't enough space to distance from people sitting down. Food was dead on, I had the pancakes with bacon, which was fine, I would prefer if the bacon was cooked to order rather than reheated though. Wife had the red pepper soup which she liked.

C. O. M. C. (.Food was nice, but service poor. Stood for 15 minutes to place an order, whilst three members of staff spent the time chatting at the ice cream section. Left one guy to take all the orders and make all the beverages. Tables were not cleared or cleaned, and we had to wipe down our own, whilst a member of staff chatted to his colleagues
P. C.Service at peak times is very very slow and twice we had to send back our order because it was wrong (not just a little wrong but completely wrong). The few times I have been in there is rarely enough seating for everyone mainly due to people having to wait so long on their order. Food is good and ice cream is some of the best about but ruined by slow service.

E. M.Lovely. The waffles are gorgeous and underrated, when they’re warm. They do a Nutella and bueno waffle with white choc chips ofc can only be eaten when you’re super starving otherwise it’s too sweet. Gonna miss this place when I move.

P. G.Cafe Mauds does great sit in ice cream Sundays / Mix ins as well as a range of other desert type foods. Always really tasty and not to expensive.
The only downside about the place is its always busy, and normally a queue.

Staff didn’t seem to care then we have to wait after we’ve ordered to get a free table. Why bother having the sign if you won’t enforce it? Food was ok - but I won’t bother returning when it’s busy.
