Just had the most amazing breakfast and perfect cup of coffee. The staff were a complete delight and so accommodating. This is somewhere I will definitely be coming back today.
G. B.Lovely wee place to eat... Found the place after leaving the dog into the vets for his physio, it's just 5 mins up the road. Staff were very friendly and attentive even making sure the syrup to coffee ratio was OK lol. The food was fantastic! My. Mother in law was able to get a huge gluten free fry at no extra cost which was brilliant... No complaints here!
C. X.Foods always so yummy but the wait times are always a bit ridiculous. It's a long while for someone to take your order, then a long wait for the coffee to arrive, then finished coffee before your food arrives.
But apart from that the food is really good, staff friendly and nice atmosphere!
S. R.Can get busy on the weekends so you might have to wait to get seated. Staff seem friendly and the breakfast was good.Had the eggs benedict and the kids nutella/banana pancakes.I would come back again..
R.Amazing staff and service. Ordered the matcha as I had seen them post about introducing it on Instagram and our serves was lovely and asked for my feedback as it was a new addition (was delish). Food was lovely and came quickly. Absolutely gorgeous inside and will definitely be back.

S. B.I'm quite fussy regarding coffee, however the latte was a perfect consistency and temperature.
My son said his flat white was slightly bitter. Not sure if it's supposed to be like that or not. He did rave about his chicken panini declaring that it was "incredible".
The staff could be a little bit more interactive with customers. They're certainly not unpleasant or unfriendly but not much chat going on.
Overall, a very enjoyable experience 😄

L. C.Smart has had a revamp during lockdown and the changes are fab! We’ve used the hatch ‘To Go’ many times over the past year which was a brilliant idea of theirs. Simon & Victoria never fail to deliver quality food and service. The fact that the Cafe is always busy speaks for itself 😀. Go along and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. 😀
P. M.Great food and friendly staff. Lovely bright space. Disappointing you can't swap out some breakfast breads, meant we had to pay £1.50 for a slice of sourdough which was a bit steep and food went to waste, would make me hesitant to return for breakfast but other than that all good
B. B.The best option in a competitive area. Breakfast, lunch, collect from the window are all a good choice. Exceptional coffee. Hygiene can't be beaten and as befits its past the venue decor is top notch.
Give heed to the traffic indicator as can be busy at times which is a reflection of the standard of fare and the Owners' commitment to service.

P.I had a cappuccino which was decent and also the vegan porridge. The vegan porridge was just plain porridge with coconut flakes, pumpkin seeds and jam. Really quite poor! Needs more peanut butter, chia seeds, lots of fruit etc. Pretty expensive at £5 for a very plain, bland bowl of porridge!

M. H.I love this cafe, mostly because I'm a fan of fresh scones and theirs are amazing. The raspberry and white chocolate are sublime. Other things also look really tasty (the Portuguese egg custard tarts, especially), but I can't go past those scones!!

When myself and my daughters went they were told to close at 6pm because of the restrictions and even though the cafe was bunged with customers they were pleasant, efficient and very helpful when we left we thought we definitely be back, worth the money and the crack.

Big pot of tea which was good value. Partner enjoyed her duck wrap but at £6.95ish the size is questionable value.

I recommend the sausage and bacon with a soda. If your hungry when you enter you most certainly won't be when you leave. Now hurry up and get down before all the food has gone.
