Visiting Belfast for the weekend and had to drop in to the best chocolate shop in the world. We were served by Suzanne who was super friendly, helpful and an all round lovely person. They looked after my items until the end of the day so I didn't have to carry them round.

They serve REAL hot chocolate — very smooth, warm & nice. Various choices of flavors. I would say try Classic first. Coffee is also very nice. Ordered flat white & enjoyed it. Can buy chocolates here as well. Lots of flavors & would be the best gift choice. Seats available inside but it seems like this shop will only provide takeaway drinks from the end of this November …

My daughter has coeliac and we'd tried a couple of places to get her a treat with no luck. I left her at the door with our two dogs and went inside to see if perhaps Hotel Chocolate had anything gluten free. As soon as I walked in the door I was approached by a very friendly and helpful member of staff who first told me that the dogs didn't have to wait outside and then proceeded to help me find a suitable treat for my daughter. I couldn't rate the service here highly enough! Thank you so much for taking care of us, we'll definitely be back.

What can I say? What a place! Surrounded by the best chocolate money can buy! After having a good browse around the vast range of chocolate you can then sit with a cuppa and enjoy your chocolate! They even have a vegan friendly range AND vegan cuppas too!

Chocolates amazing staff very friendly but coffee not 5o a hot enough temperature. Was told that was as hot as they can make it and no microwave to heat it up. Drank it down very quickly no chance of a chat over a coffee.

Love their chocolate and their drinks they offer but it is really hard to find a place to sit down sometimes although once you do, you can have a nice spot overlooking Belfast City Centre. The staff are helpful and will offer you a sample of one of their chocolates and assist you in choosing the one most suited for your taste.

Delicious chocolate, excellent service from Fiona every visit . Its become a routine to relax with a hot chocolate drink and side of cream after a double shift on the way home from work. Helps me pile on the calories. An enjoyable way to get healthy. My dietician recommends it. .

The shop atmosphere is not very relaxing for a sit down café. If you get cream on top be aware it is very thick and heavy and it's a challenge to get to your drink.
