A hidden gem in the heart of Belfast. Beautiful place serving very nice comfort food and coffee. Ideal for breakfast and afternoon tea. Highly recommended 👍

This is a beautiful, historic, relaxed cafe. It has the nicest, friendliest staff who cannot do enough to help. We ordered tea, comes in proper patterned china cups and saucers. Water, in a crystal jug and glasses and lunch. I ordered bruschetta with chicken and pesto - delicious. My friend ordered avocado toast and poached egg - stunning. A really enjoyable experience, will definitely be back.

The linen Hall has a fabulous cafe and the setting is amazing. A lot of thought has gone into it. The food is beautiful and the staff very friendly. Definitely worth a visit. It is my favourite cafe in Belfast.

Located facing Belfast City Hall, used cafe in library to meet colleagues visiting from America. Nice quiet relaxed ambience, great for private small meetings. Tea / coffee great, staff friendly & helpful. Covid restrictions in place. Had to leave contact details & show covid passport. Will be back again.

If you are searching for a perfect little oasis of calm in Belfast’s bustling city centre, then look no further than the Linen Hall Cafe. On the second floor of the Linen Hall Library, this nod to yesteryear is a sanctuary of relaxation serving a variety of delicious dishes throughout the day.
We were invited for lunch and decided to try their plantbased menu which was an absolute revelation.
The Plantbased Linen Hall Breakfast includes sausages, black pudding, wild mushrooms on sourdough with flavoursome confit tomatoes and drizzled with earthy truffle oil. The vegan version of the Grilled Halloumi Salad features an incredible plantbased halloumi from La Rousse Foods served on a bed of dressed rocket with sweet pear, asparagus, and toasted walnuts.
All accompanied with a glass of our favourite Porta 6, we could have sat all afternoon.
Thank you to Mary, Nathaniel, Chloe and Kirby and the rest of the team.
