Reviews of Ladana Café

Really enjoyed the food here, nice family run restaurant with great service - extremely understanding and accomodating to our large group. Breakfast portions were pretty big/generous and considering how much food we got, it wasn't too expensive. Will revisit again on my next trip to Birmingham, hope they open a London branch!

The English breakfast was on point. Their sausages are very tasty as well as the turkey rashes. The only thing I'd suggest is to lower the music as its not a disco, you want to be able to talk without raising your voice. They also cater for gluten free which was really good so I could have toast. The other thing I really loved was their coffee, they use very good equipment (weighted and timed shots) and relatively freshly roasted beans.

Yummy food. Had the smashed avo on toast and it tasted great! French toast was good too -loved it!! :) note - if you order french toast, that comes first...so you might want to order it after. Also, drinks came out too (not with meal)

Food and ambience was amazing. Love the interior and the staff were absolutely amazing. Went for the breakfast and was not disappointed. The French toast was delicious and food was yummy. Would definitely try the desi tea as it is really nice. Will be visiting again soon and make this a regular food spot.

This is a cafe that I adore since the beginning because it has an Arab atmosphere and reminds us of Arab countries. The decor is neat and tidy. But now, unfortunately, the food they got is rather poor. I just love to go for the atmosphere and drink coffee, but the food isn't the best.

A perfect weekend would mean Ladana on a Sunday night for some dinner and shisha !
I wasn't too happy about the sizzling chicken as the chicken felt undercooked and the taste wasn't that great either. The lamb burger was good and filling. The sweet potato chips were also really good.
The shisha flavour I went with were double apple, paan and mint, and it was brilliant. We had about three coal refills in 2 hours and we literally didn't have the mind to leave until the staff handed over the check hinting us that it's time to close.
I'd definitely visit again and try more flavours and cocktails.

Spontaneous trip to Ladana Cafe, breakfast is served till 3:00pm and lunch is served straight after. As soon as we entered the staff members seated us to our table however they seated us to a very small table which was suitable for two people but there was 3 of us, so we asked if they can relocate us to a bigger table unfortunately one of the staff members said no at first but asked a gentleman named “Dray” who accepted our request and had us moved to a bigger and comfortable table. There is nothing I can fault with the full English breakfast and the Turkey rashers are by far the best I’ve ever had. The Ladana Benedict seems like a small portion however it is very filling and eggs were cooked to perfection. The Benedict Royale was once again cooked to perfection and it’s perfect for seafood lovers. The Ladana fresh French toast with Lotus syrup was simply amazing for an end of a perfect branch.
The food was exceptionally fast and was up to great standards.
They also offer shisha service during the breakfast and lunch period. Everything is reasonable price and worth the visit.

I went for breakfast the menu is decent big portions, I tried to go for lunch time was to busy,
I left a mark off because family area is tiny and the service was slow. when i went for breakfast was alot better decor is luxurious nice vibe .
I'll definitely recommend . Once you get served food comes out quickly

Service was great however I was not really impressed with the chicken grilled burger. I've certainly had better. The hummus and flat was a really nice starter.
Update 11/08/2021 - The breakfast here is amazing. I've had their french toast and avocado breakfast. I could not fault it at all. My friends had the Arabic breakfast and the omelette with toast and they also loved it. Atmosphere is really nice and all the staff are very friendly. I'd definitely recommend the breakfast.

Ladana is definitely something different from the traditional Birmingham food scene, especially where it’s located (Stratford Rd). Warm welcome from Minnie at front of house (she was really helpful about parking recommendations as the Rd can get busy). The decor is very classy and the atmosphere is full of good vibes! Megan who is the manager was kind enough to come over and talk about the restaurant and recommendations of the menu. Now for the food…
We had the Ladana Benedict, Royal Benedict and the Club Sandwich (all lovely). There are very good options on the menu, you have traditional Arabic and English breakfast/brunch options. The menu offers breakfast, lunch and dinner (I will be trying all of it!!). This place is well run and well staffed considering how busy they are (Mashallah). Ladana you definitely have a a fan in me and definitely will be recommending this place!! See you again soon 😊
