Reviews of Prom Café

It was okay.
Some of the sandwiches and pastries had run out from the menu.
We got the eggs on toast, vegetarian English breakfast, and avocado on toast. Drinks included large flat white, orange juice and two cappuccinos.
Everything was okay but the food did take a while and the coordination of table service outside could have been a bit better.
It’s an okay place if you’re on the go and want to have a nice view for a quick bite.

Lavish breakfast options, we tried both the English and the Veggie, very filly had to skip our lunch. Includes Tea or Coffee, 2-3 Hash Browns, 1-2 Egg fried, 2 Sausages, 1 Bread Toast and Beans. Kids tried Burgers, quite light with limited fries. If you plan to take service at table be ready for 20 min wait, best is to take it yourself. Nice outdoor sitting place if it's sunny but usually occupied. Place is dog friendly. Washrooms are inside and can be accessed though code which would be on the bottom of your bill along with the wifi code. If you have a little one it's best you take her for view of the mini golf course adjacent to the outdoor sitting.

Really nice spot on the pier which has great vibe, good food and is dog friendly. Me and friend had a great time there which was made even better by meeting one of the staff called Dilly who was lovely to talk to as he served out table. Very friendly, talkative and 5 star service…Give this man a pay rise!! Would go back again for sure.

Good selection of cold and hot drinks, including iced coffee as well.
Hot quick meals and cakes too. Nice view outdoor. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Happy to return and recommend it. Thank you😃

As a driver of Golden Tours Opentoppers I'm always in The Prom Cafe for my lunch/brunch and sometimes for just a snack. The staff are very friendly and helpful and always have smiles on their faces... they all know that I'm sometimes on a tight schedule so they'll go out of their way to help me ....
I recommend this place for value for money, great Customer Service and plenty of tables available 👍

Very busy. Food was better than anticipated and very quick. Unfortunately the cappuccino was just like hot milk without even 1 bubble or any foam otherwise would have been 5 stars

I would rate it as 5, because location is good, just at the beach, there are tables outdoor, so could find a place easily (Tuesday), could be overcrowded otherwise. Covid precautions in place, no indoor, guy requests register for NHS track system, sanitizer at the entrance, masks needed. Every table gets sanitized after clients are gone. Menu is typical, paninis, burgers, snacks, drink and ice cream. Order came timely. Quality is ok, burger not cosmic, but fresh and meat juicy enough, meal option with chips and a drink is value for money. Prices reasonable.
