Not great! Convenient that it's there but. We had shakes and cake and both were quite tasteless. Bins overflowing. And a bit untidy. Shame as a good location

Usually very happy with this cafe however I bought a coffee from them and it was so so hot it burnt my lips and my mouth had ulcers for a week and burnt lips. I did ask for hot milk but not milk that was so hot it was like it had been in the microwave for 10 mins. Aside from that incident I am always impressed with the food options and the range of plant milk is really good.

This place is miles better than the other one at the other end of the park . Really nice cakes and food, friendly staff, good prices too.

Excellent all round,very good food.

Nice food and coffee but a bit expensive, hence just 4 stars. A coffee and admittedly excellent mince pie cost £6.10. I think that's taking the p*** a bit. But, it's dead centre of the park and handy and the staff are friendly. There are toilets too.

Lovely food and Coffee! On a side note our daughter decided to go for a wonder while we were there causing a bit of a panic. The lovely family who run this cafe and their amazing staff helped to find her quickly and gave her a free ice cream to calm a few frayed nerves. Can't speak highly enough of them all.

It's the inside of this cafe that disappoints for me. Outside areas are great and this cafe has great advantage of staying open later than the Rotunda (which closes ridiculously early to my mind). Yes agree cakes a bit expensive but would be happy to pay if could sit comfortably inside and eat them. Service is always pleasant and the position of this cafe is perfectly situated within Preston Park. So come on - make it more comfortable ! Don't understand why it's so difficult for me to leave another review so am updating this one from 2 years ago. Just want to say what a brilliant job the owners and staff of this cafe are doing during this second lockdown. They really are a little oasis in the doom and gloom! They have served us safely all through the summer and now are continuing to serve takeaway food and drink in a safe, socially distanced way. Yes of course there are queues but everyone appreciates the service so much that we all observe the rules and enjoy the chance to have a chat while we wait. So a big THANK YOU from me on behalf of so many of us who are really grateful that you are continuing to serve us. Please keep it up!

Delicious homemade cakes, great ice cream & friendly welcoming staff who always take the time to patiently have a conversation with my toddler. So happy to see the rearranged setup to serve treats in a socially distanced way – perfect for summer ice creams in our wonderful local park. #shopsmall #strongertogether

I like this place, friendly. I use it all the time with Parkrun and cycling, nice homemade cakes etc. Really about time it had an expresso machine and took credit cards though...
