Love it here - it has become my go to for an afternoon coffee and cake sat outside and watching people go by. I’ve tried most of them and would say the cakes are a little on the bland/ sweet side although they look amazing. I prefer fresh cream but appreciate it doesn’t keep as well. Lunch options are tasty and the coffee is perfect.

Amazing array of delicious cakes - catering to everyone's dietary requirements. Go there hungry as slices are large and the man who runs it/owns it is always a delight.

We stumbled on this little gem whilst have a quiet stroll through the iconic North Laine, just moments down the hill from Brighton Station.
We saw the window display with a delicious selection of treats we simply had to go in. The guy working behind the counter was absolutely lovely and chatty...but beware even just a look at there arrat of delectable savoury and sweet treats and you will need to buy some (as we did). 😋

I came here with my girlfriend to enjoy some chill out time. We enjoyed the coffee and liked the fact it offered a variety of cakes. Overall service is great. The cakes were a little dry but it’s a small thing to a midget.

Lovely little corner cafe. The food looks and tastes delicious!

Nice and cozy cafe! It was hard to choose which slice of cake to have! I went for the white chocolate and Peanut butter! It's a little bit pricey but it was delicious. A real treat. Definitely, I'll return. I want try other cakes!! The man who served us was very friendly!

Lovely artisian vibe ,friendly staff, really great sausage roll ,tasty carrot cake , mocha was delicious thank you

A nice small and cosy cafe place in a good location, in the lanes. The coffee is really good and they do iced coffee too for the hot days! Good thing is they make these tasty bites, cakes, pies, even traditional greek pies like mpougatsa. Lovely atmosphere inside. I will visit again.

Beautiful, lovely cafe, with friendly atmosphere and nice staff, set towards the bottom of trafalgar Street in the heart of Brighton, with outdoor seating, great food and coffee, a variety of cakes and mouth watering deserts. A must visit.

One of my new faves for coffee and cakes and pastures pastures friendly service. You can't go here just for coffee...!!

We had a quick meet up at this coffee shop...which ended up to be 3 hours in the end...why?!..this place ..apart from the wonderful coffee..and superb line of desserts...the staff had such friendly aura...they made sure that everyone felt welcome..(sad that it had very little space)..but I would definitely recommend this cafe and I certainly come back next time..Bravo,folks!

(Changed from 1 star to 3 as owner offered money back and apologised for oven not working ) Staff were lovely but the food was horrible enough to warrant a one star review, I had Instant regret after ordering the pulled pork burger & chips(3chips) which were microwaved and sad. We had a cup of tea which was nice and well presented.

Lovely space and Beautiful food but at high prices. £5 slice of cake and £7.50 for a small portion of 2 falafels and a little bulgarwheat is too expensive for me. Good luck to you.

Gorgeous. The food was absolutely divine, the coffee perfect, and the cake.... oh my. We had the puff pastry with tomato, goats cheese, and balsamic, as well as a slice of the hummingbird cake. If ever in Brighton again, I’m making a beeline for this place.

Just popped in here for the first time since living in Brighton. Nice outdoor seating as well as an inside bar area.
Wonderful Sunday atmosphere with many yummy choices of food and drink. Lots of cake and pastries. Good jazz music too!!
I enjoyed a solid Americano and a yogurt bowl with honey and Granola.
The service was quick but I was the only patron honestly. 0930 on a Sunday.
I will return for sure.

I'm really satisfied with my blackberry cheesecake!!! And they are so kind and nice for me!!! I absolutely recommend!

The food looked delicious, but we only had time for a hot drink. Maybe next time. The people were very kind and thoughtful. The seating was continental bar style.
S. M.
Small but cozy. Perfect place to read while enjoying coffee and delicious pastry. Location is also quite convenient and not much of a busy street...but enough to not make it deserted. :) Perfect music selection for my taste - mix of jazz and old school. Gives the place an extra fantabulous and cozy vibe 😉

Friendly staff, excellent savoury food and lovely choice of cakes and biscuits. Had dairy free milks available too. Small little cafe but a real treat
C. M.
Carrot cake was tasty but the portion size was way too small for what you charge. I don't expect a massive slab but this was just silly. I've worked in catering for a long time and guessing this was a mistake which is why I've given you three and not two stars.
G. M.
I love this cafe....it is bright and clean. The coffee is good and the food fresh and interesting. The cafe is small but great for a shopping break or if you need some quiet time to read the paper or just have a break.
S. D.
Great tasting coffee and lovely savoury treats.

Small but nice café, good smoothies & coffee, feta pie was pretty good too. Spinach pie needed more cheese and less spinach for a better balance. Waitress wasn't very friendly and when we asked for a peanut butter cookie, she brought us the smallest one out of the bu ch, not happy about that as it was quite tasty and we were sharing it so we could do with a bigger one. Everything was expensive, but that's more or less the case with everything in Brighton.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Everything is amazing and the staff is so warm and welcoming. Our group had two different cakes (millionaires/vegan raspberry+pistachio+chocolate), peanut butter cookie, and a meringue and they were all delicious. They had a wide selection of loose leaf two as well which was nice for a non-coffee drinker. Can't wait to go back :)

Popped into here on a saturday afternoon to get out of the rain and could not believe how amazing everything looked! We had a chocolate brownie and a slice of cheesecake and both delicious and fresh. The coffee was just perfect also.
The staff super friendly and you could see they genuinely cared for their regular customers who came in for a chat.
The other food looked amazing and if I was local I would definitely be a regular.

Imagine I went here a few years ago with my brother and to this day I haven't had a better Latte. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Really made me feel like all my problems went away. P.S i'm still thinking about this place.
V. W.
I called in for a coffee and slice of cake, I can't remember the flavour of the cake but it was multi layered with pineapple and coconut layers included, it was delicious. I'd thoroughly recommend a visit if you are close by. Thank you for a memorable visit .
Z. C.
Coffee was excellent, the staff was very friendly, and the music was exceptionally relaxed. The seating however wasn't particularly comfortable as the chairs had such low backs. But the chairs were my only criticism as everything else was perfect IMO. The cakes also looked very good (not that I had one as I'm broke).
F. P.
Fantastic place for coffee and a spot of lunch! Quite a few really nice Veggie options and the cakes... Well amazing. When I went they had three different types of brownies (raspberry, Oreo & Banoffi), not to mention the classics; carrot cake, red velvet and what seems like a firm favourite with the locals is the cheese twists?! Saw a steady stream leaving the cafe. Doesn't have a vast amount of seating but we found a seat with ease, also has some outside seating.
K. Þ.
Great coffee. Great cakes. Solid selection of plant milks and there are some excellent gluten free and vegan cake options

We stopped for coffee late on Friday afternoon . The barista was working alone and as customers started arriving to place orders in the final hour of opening , she was helpful , delightful and energetic in her response . She politely reminded us all of the Covid safety rules . She served delicious coffee - we stayed for a second unplanned cup . She recommended cakes and pastries and was very patient with a complex allergy enquiry bu one customer . She deserves a pay rise !! Brilliant employee

Very good taste of cakes and tea. You won't be disappointed. Will visit a gain.
J. L.
Delicious cakes and I really enjoyed their coffee. My girlfriend really like her chai latte which apparently is rare in Brighton as they tend to be glasses of mainly frothy milk.
N. B.
Best coffee in Brighton. Some very good cakes, including melomakarona a particularly delicious Greek cookie cake that I've only ever had homemade before. And the people working there are lovely.
N.
I have been going to this coffee since started my course in college next door. I know all the girls who serve there, the owners and they are always welcoming and sweet. We have a little chat every time I go in. The coffees are perfectly done, they have great teas. The detox is to die for and the most amazing pastries, cakes and sandwiches inspired by the Mediterranean. The prices are cheaper than in the other coffees too and as a bonus you get a 10% student discount too!
K. B.
Great location with indoor and outdoor seating both ground floor and first floor. The aroma hits you as soon as you walk in and staff deal with your order in a polite and professional manner. Prices are good. Downside is that people spend a very long time at a table with one coffee and a laptop and this makes it quite difficult to get a seat.
N. T.
Delicious cakes and super friendly staff.
We always stop by when visiting Brighton.
J. P.
They have the most lovely vegan cakes ive ever tasted! #vegan #vegancake

Beautiful coffee shop and such a friendly team. Always a great selection of fresh savoury and sweet options - lots of interesting lunch choices as opposed to the usual coffee shop sandwich or salad.

Great quality place, though a lot of bread/ wheat based things. And expensive! (£4.50 for a sandwich containing 1/2 a mushroom + 1/2 a pepper)
T. B.
