T. E.The service was incredible! These guys kept the restaurant open for us as we had a group of 13 children on a school trip. They were very accommodating and friendly, having a joke with us and creating a brilliant atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed the food, lots of options and portion sizes did not disappoint. Could not recommend enough, thank you Cosy Cottage!

S. M.Lovely little cafe on the London Road in Brighton. Polite and friendly staff, cooking a lovely breakfast. Prices are what they are I guess but seem a little pricey for a cafe on a Saturday morning, for a hearty breakfast. Vegetarian and vegan options are good, the food tastey and well cooked through. Nice and friendly locals talking and laughing like an old fashioned cafe.
V. L.Absolutely friendly people, very clean and looks really nice inside, tables outside as well, tea and latte great, sausage sandwich and egg mayo well worth the money and really fresh and tasty. Would recommend if your passing by.

S. M.Its clean , its covid ready but the food quality has gone downhill. Ir wasnt busy so we took a chance on breakfast. I opted for a non dairy version and when I asked if my egg could be swapped for avocado I was told no even though it's on a salmon dish as a 'healthy option instead i got an extra hash brown. The result was a 10 pound rip off and I will not be recommending this cafe even though its local.

K. H.Runned by very helpful, friendly staff. Great range of hot and cold drinks. Caters for vegetarians and vegans. Prices are very reasonable. I ordered some lunch which was freshly made and generous portions. Wheelchair access but the toilets are down stairs I'm not sure if there's any access for disabled?? They have a closed in backyard which is cosy. Seating outside although it's right on the high street. Great place to stop while you're doing you're shopping. There is parking around the back in the multi story car park but the best way is to get the bus or walk.
A. M.Typical greasy spoons eatery. The decor and atmosphere were very comfortable but nothing to write home about. They serve breakfasts, pasta dishes, panini's, sandwiches and pizzas. I believe they serve alcoholic drinks in the evening too however we only went for breakfast. The breakfast menu could have clearer but it was busy so clearly popular with the locals. Service could be improved, as could the portions, hence 3 stars.

E. D.The first thing i have to is youre better than chicks. The breakfast was good, the sausage however was not. The mushrooms were pale however did offer a new texture to the arrangement. My partner opted for the house omelette. It was above average however the chips were not up to scratch. Thank you though for the milkshake. Very tasty oero xx

H.I have been a regular at this establishment for almost 16 years since it was "Beanies" then "The Bystander" and now "Cosy Cottage" the only place I've found in Brighton where you can get a decent, creamy latte for a great price! Friendly staff, clean toilets and good food. The only small drawback is that they use mozzarella cheese instead of ordinary cheddar cheese on their sandwiches which I am not keen on. But apart from that it's a nice, relaxing place to get a decent brew and chill out.

Oops forgot that one, They now only use Olive Oil to cook with a nice move!, food tastes great, nice coffee, and decent range of herbal teas. Had a nice Veggie Burger Chips n Salad, good loyalty card scheme for regulars, Sheesha area out back, and open till 11pm great for night owls like me. Free WiFi that actually works! Awesome Veggie burger salad just now a nice range of free sauces. Not sure if the veggie burger is vegan but still rate this place. Always clean and I'm always well looked after.
C. R.Excellent and classic English breakfast options and variations. Definatly a favorite, Very friendly staff, Clean bathrooms and eating area. Somewhat small interms of sit in seating, there is an option for patio seating. provided its not pouring rain.

C. W.Cosy Cottage is situated in London Road , across the road from Bakers Street.When you enter the shop you will be greeted by friendly staff. There is a vast menu,which is reasonably priced , a few things on the menu are baked potatoes with plenty of filling & salad, you can enjoy a good pasta and bolognaise , generously topped pizza with chips and much much more.
There are sandwiches with choices of fillings , which can be toasted if you require something hot.
Always have a good assortment of cold drinks , Hot drinks include Tea,latte,cappuccino and fruit teas .
Service is always good with a smile , and nothing is too much trouble.
Seating is good inside , the front and the enclosed area at the rear , which has gas wall heaters for those chilly afternoons/evenings.
If you fancy trying out a Shisha pipe , you can choose from various flavours and participate in the enclosed area at the rear .
Toilet facilities are accessible and cleaned to a high standard for both female and male .
