Reviews of Lucky Beach Cafe
J. B.
I've walked past this place and didn't really notice it most of the time, but someone recommended it to me online. How I wish I had gone in sooner.
The food was incredible, I had the Korean fish and chips which was a great spin on the beach front classic. Super crispy batter and chips and fresh fish. Well good.
My partner had the Thai chicken burger, while it wasn't as photogenic, it had so many flavours going on it was unreal.
It's a little bit pricey, but as it's supporting local businesses we felt it was justified (and it was delicious).
We will definitely be returning for the breakfast menu as well.
C. H.
Beautiful place just on the beachfront with the most delicious food! I had the fish tacos (wanted something light) and they were seriously good! Fresh, flavourful... Just beautiful. The other 3 people in our group opted for the fish and calamari. I sadly didn't get a photo (d'oh!) but we were all flabbergasted by the portion sizes! Huge!!! Everyone was impressed with the size and quality. Great food, great view, great staff. Thank you!
G. S.
I got the fish and chips which was very nice ! Although, it did not come with ‘traditional chip shop style chips’ and you had to pay extra for mushy peas :(
It is a little expensive and the portion size is fairly small but the overall ambience and being right on the beach makes up for that !
The app was a little confusing and we had a few missing/delayed orders at time (this could have just been due to an extremely busy day)…
I wouldn’t suggest going with a group bigger that 4 unless you make a reservation as it was a little hard for them to accommodate us.
Overall, it’s a nice beach location for a spot of lunch or even some cocktails, further, the staff are friendly and had a nice chat with some of them !
H. A.
The food was amazing, and the service was better! A group of us was down for a birthday as soon as they knew they made it special for us and having breakfast here is one of the best memories we have of the weekend. I would highly recommend and we will be back again. Thank you!
H. S.
Fantastic food! Had chicken burger and the fish tacos both fresh and full of flavour. Accompanied by great cocktail and cider. We sat in the beach area so lovely view and atmosphere thanks!
A. C.
Stopped here for some fish and chips right on the beach front in the sun! It was such a nice day 18 degrees and sunny! Definitely a nice stop for a snack and a drink. We got the fish and chips and some calamari where the fish was pretty much a full fish (just be aware there might be some bones). Worth a stop to sit outdoors and take in the view
P. D.
The food is fresh and local as they advertise. It's delicious. The size of the dish is not so much to share if you want to. It was quite a bit expensive, but the location is superb on the beach. The staff are very charming.
T. D.
Absolutely fantastic staff and attentive at all times even the place was very busy. Food took a tad long but was expected as it was extremely busy, but we didn’t mind sipped on drinks and enjoyed the fab atmosphere. We took are puppy she was treated like such a princess by the staff. Now to the food, the crb meat tostadas and fish tacos are must try. The food fresh and full of flavors. @lucky_beach you get a massive 👍 from me
D.
Great location on the beach, very friendly helpful staff. Wind protected and heating provided as well as blankets for those cold days. Menu reasonably priced, will deviated go there again when in the area and i recommend this place as well.
A. B.
Class spot down by the shoreline along the Brighton coast. Offers digital orders made from the phone and blankets in case it gets nippy. Brilliant vibe that should be added to your 'places to visit in Brighton'.
C. R.
Superb food and a fabulous view. Hutch was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. Definitely go back again next in town and would recommend to all.
D. S.
Amazing gem on the Brighton beach side. Very friendly staff. Coffees, Breakfast options... gorgeous. Highly recommended
D. P.
Lovely place for breakfast having come to Brighton for over 30yrs this place on a sunny morning is wonderful, the staff are so lovely and kind and the food is nicely done. Smoothies are wonderful too. Highly recommend.
M.
Nice relaxing place to enjoy very good coffee or drinks. Very friendly staff and fast service.
L.
Woah! The best fish and chips me and my bro ever had!! The flavour combinations were spot on. That is fish and chips with a difference. The cleanliness in the restaurant was spot on too. They had the most wonderful smelling toilets with their candles spotted around. Staff were attentive and friendly. Can you pay less elsewhere, yes but you'd never get the flavour and quality like you do here. I reccondmend the passionfruit fizz drink and the mushy peas to go with your meal, wow the way they jazz up some peas, lovely.
S. K. (.
Fancy little cafe, fancy little breakfast, all organic, and priced exactly that way, like its gold encrusted, lol, waited for over 40mins for our cooked breakfast and fresh orange juice, but I can say it was really worth the wait, beautiful.
K. L.
Outstanding! Modern take on fish and chips. Apparently they also do very tasty burgers but I haven't tried them. What I can tell you however is that the fish and chips was simple, fresh and delicious. There is a basic version available but also a Korean one! With Korean gochujang sauce! This looked pretty good. Make sure you also try the mushy peas, the best I have ever eaten. In terms of price, I think it's reasonable, 14£ish for the fish and chips and around 10£ for burgers. Worth trying!
D. L.
Absolutely fantastic meal!
Food was sensational with a great selection to choose from but what stood out for me was the service, nothing was too much trouble! Absolutely on point, with amazing attention to detail. Will definitely be returning soon!
Keep up the good work guys!
D.
Great tasting breakfast, probably one the best lattés I've had. Service was great.
E. D.
The food is vey nice but the service was not very good: for example my plate took 15 minutes more than the others to arrive and it was the same thing. The same with coffees.
D. S.
Had such a lovely brunch experience so far with amazing friendly people.
Thank you for great service.
c. f.
The food is great and the staff are super nice👍🏻
Great place to chill in weekends!
E.
Amazing food, delicious coffee, friendly staff and an incredible location right on the beach. Staff couldn’t do enough to make our birthday celebrations extra special. Dog friendly too. Simply the number one breakfast spot in Brighton.
D. Y.
A wonderful place. Staff friendly. The food was divine. The choice of do with the crab tostados was inspired. The special chips with sour cream and salsa with dill also was delicious. Great view onto the beach. Not too expensive either.
Y. P.
The best fish and chips in Brighton!!!
Friendly staff and good quality food
Good sea view
M. D.
Great place right by the beach with lovely food and great staff. Perfect for breakfast or brunch with some killer dishes. The eggs Benedict with crab was particularly awesome. Great coffee as well served with great skills by Joe. Top notch 👌
D. M.
Great fish and chips and fish tacos all made with local fish...
E. D.
Lovely brunch and location. Great staff
L. H.
Absolutely delicious. The fish was fresh and the Korean gochujang sauce added a kick. Lovely take on the traditional fish and chips.

Crikey just managed to erase my review by mistake! In a nutshell...if you're on Brighton beach and want a totally cool place to hang out and have great organic coffee, fab food and get fantastic customer service than this is defo the place for you. We always try to come here when we come to Brighton. My mum, sis and me, our three little girls between us...all love this great little spot. Keep doing what you're doing Lucky Beach. I feel strongly about giving you a high five that I've written this twice!! :)
So we went back again yesterday (February 2022) and we were not disappointed! The kids wolfed down the burgers and although 'plain' (definitely a good options for kids without sauces etc unless you want to add them in) the burgers were seriously delicious and well seasoned. As were the chips. My ma and I had the full English - we ate at around 11:30 - and the plates were really nicely presented with very tasty food! Our coffees were so good we drank them lickety split! 🙏 So so so good.
Service is always amazing. Will wholeheartedly continue to recommend this place to everyone I know visiting Brighton and return time and again for our own visits. Believe the hype! It's very good!!
F. F.
Delicious food, great service and cold beers. HAPPY DAYS!
R. A.
Been going here for over 10 years on trips to Brighton. The menu is always exciting. Great food although the chef's will have changed. The service is always friendly and efficent. Currently Korean fish is a favourite alongside all time favourites English breakfast and fish tacos.
T. O. J.
Really loved this place, no wonder ifs so highly recommend, the service is amazing and the food and cocktails are really nice too! It took a while for our food yo come out because it was so busy but the owner was very good about it!
T. W.
Just had the most amazing posh bacon bap, really was a taste sensation. The chilli jam entirely compliments the flavours. Excellent service and very friendly staff. Highly recommend coming here.
T. N. (.
One of the rare places that serves an organic beefburgers at a very fair price. Excellent plant based options and well selected dishes with a sundeck on the beach. Lucy are we.
A. M. J.
Good fish and chips right on the beach.
d. s.
Very friendly laid back. Fantastic service. Great views. Good coffee. Smoking area (on beach) covered Al Fresco dining. 10/10.
A. E.
Service was really quick and the food was amazing . I had the breakfast tacos which was fresh and tasty and not too hot. The real star of the show was the bacon and egg sandwich with the bacon jam. The fresh juice was lovely and I found the coffee a bit bitter but nothing like a few sugars would sort out.
M. F.
Service was good, location (beach side) was amazing on a hot day. Ordered a ploughman's lunch and was shocked when it was served with a whole apple on the plate but on the whole was a nice meal in the sun.
M. R.
The food was amazing, huge portions and a fantastic location and atmosphere..my wife and I loved it and will definitely be going back. First class!
D.
Came here for drinks on a stag do and loved it. Big love to Shannon in particular. The half a Brixton with an orange slice and cocktail umbrella for the stag was 😘👌
T.
Tasty food! Waiters/waitress were very kind. With a great view on the sea !
I recommend without any hesitation!!!!
J. B.
Beautiful Beach bar breakfast, it was tasty and unusual. Eggs Benedict with crab. Lovely hot drinks and happy attentive staff x
R. B.
absolutely the best breakfast i’ve had in years! highly recommend the carb eggs benedict and the french toast. lovely location and amazing staff. top quality :)
m. g.
Always a good experience at Lucky Beach Cafe... friendly staff .. nice outside seating with huge umbrella's to help hide from the sun ... Food is always good here .. whenever my friends come down from London it's where they always want to go...
K. T.
Lovely place with great staff serving some outstanding food. Great range of healthy options. Really nice coffee too. Very highly recommended. I'd eat here all the time if I lived nearer!
R. A.
I’m usually wary of beachfront cafes but this one is definitely the exception. Lovely views of Brighton beach and pier and amazing food. Crab eggs benedict was delectable
R. A.
Delicious food, interesting menu, great vegetarian options and it's right on the beachfront. It was quite busy last time we went and the staff seemed a bit fed up and also left my mum waiting for tap water for about half an hour. If they return to good service I'd rate this back up to 5.
K. Y.
With staff carrying their down-to-earth service in flip flops, the seaside setup doesn't get more laid-back than this and that's what Lucky Beach Cafe is all about. My order of crisp, lightly battered, meaty hake and chips went down happily with a can of smooth Dark Star Crème Brûlée beer whilst we sat under the stunning pink sunset sky. Extremely enjoyable and memorable dinner!
A.
We had brunch on a Saturday, no problem getting a table outside without a booking at 1100. Staff very friendly and helpful, great portions and good value for money. Their terrace is definitely the nicest along the beachfront too.
r. j. r.
Right on the beach, this is a real treat. Grass fed
organic local meat. Local fish, chicken and pork.
Organic local milk, eggs, and Fair Trade coffee.
Loose (proper bags) tea would be great. Terrific
'beach cafe' atmosphere. Easy access. Outside
seating on the beach. Upstairs indoor 'balcony'
with terrific views. Great loos.
Z. B.
A lovely establishment! The staff are so friendly! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a staff member and asked if we wanted to sit in, sit outside, or even paddle board whilst eating! We opted to sit indoors as it was quite cold, and the atmosphere was lovely.
The food was insatiable. We (two others and myself) all opted for the local fish and chips, we also had a side of mushy peas and homemade cheesy chips.
Safe to say all the food was impeccable. We finished every last mouthful. Great service and amazing food. 100% recommend.
S. R.
Best fries and coffee in the town , service and staffs are excellent .
D. T.
Had a great time here for brunch in the sun. Service was amazing and the food was great. Will be returning!
f. M.
The chicken burger is sooooo good bro omg. My friend had the cinnamon french toast and she loved it! 😍
O. A.
As a first time visitor of Brighton and the UK in general i had to try some good fish and chips and this place has it. Really well made comfort food. The service is nice and the quality of the food on point. Its a small place but the atmosphere was well nice.
Thank you
J. S.
Wonderful food, friendly staff, great experience
L. F.
If you are in Brighton, pop down to this little sea front cafe
All ingredients are locally sourced & sustainable. The food is incredible, and the coffee is so good we had to visit 3 times in the 5 days we were in Brighton.
M. R.
Brilliant atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was out of this world!
If you are coming to Brighton you must have breakfast here!!
L. K.
Had an absolutely amazing brunch here yesterday, sat in front of the sea! The portions were brilliant (even for my boyf who won’t stop eating) and the ice coffee was delicious. We had the full English & the avacado on toast and would definitely go again!
S. B.
Myself and fiancé popped down to lucky beach today while out enjoying the sun. The brunch menu offered a range of dishes for anyones dietary needs as well as sounding really nice! My parter and I opted for the honey butter chicken brunchwich with Parmesan coated hash browns 🤤 The food was delicious and well presented along with the apple rhubarb and ginger soda and iced maple coffee! The staff where also great and where even kind enough to offer us a new trial dish of biscoff French toast topped with fresh green apple which was awesome! This was our first visit here and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Thanks :)
S. H.
Great spot - right on the beach - we were very lucky to be there on a sunny day at the end of February which made the cocktails even more enjoyable! Lovely, welcoming and friendly staff - thank you 😊 xx
R. A.
In my opinion this place is a hidden gem among touristic places in that area, other so called “fish & chips” places around aren't even close as good as this one. Very fresh fish. I liked the combination of spices. Chips are nice, however might have been better(maybe replace them with triple cooked fries?).
Also massala squid was really good.
Overall I would say it’s one of the best places in this area.
On thing I want to mention though: tea cups weren’t cleaned properly.
C. D.
Amazing cafe! I visited 3 time in 2 days for brunch, lunch & coffee. A fantastic cozy location right on the beach. Love the sustainable and locally sourced menu
S. H.
Good menu, great location right on the beach, good friendly service (which matters to us) and quality lunch. We'll be back.
R.
Biscoff maccino and ham benedict were both delicious. Would recommend :)
m. m. G.
Great food and friendly staff..... fish and chips was amazing ...light but fulfilling wih skin in chips.... definitely one to try again.... brilliant customer service and hats off too the chef.... you done us well and we will be back again....thanks guys....one of Brighton's bests if not THE BEST eating place on the whole beach..... ❤❤
A. B.
Good food but very Expensive
D. 6.
Lovely tasty brunch in a Great location- the crab eggs benedict was great but my better half had the spicy lamb which was sublime-!!
L. U.
Amazing food, everything came super quick and the staff are lovely. Would highly recommend coming here for food and drinks.
S. A.
Delicious food, I was made to feel incredibly welcome. Given the location (literally on the beach) it is quite expensive.
K. B.
Lovely food, waitresses were very helpful and brought water bowls for the dogs. Truly dog friendly .
A. F.
Lovely food, you can tell that they care and have a passion for food
Coffee is banging too!
A. S.
Nice place on the sea front. Good selection of cocktails, be prepared to fight the seagulls if you have food
K. D.
I went for breakfast and the food was delicious. I had the pork benedict and I couldn't fault it. Bold flavours and tender pork!
Staff are really friendly as well!
T. Z.
Great spot for a café. Much nicer vibe than the all other places around. Great menu with modern but simple selection (veggie and vegan friendly too). Slightly unprofessional service, but very friendly, and it's just a café... Can't go wrong with a cup of bottomless filter coffee (good quality) and the views...
J. R.
A good breakfast. The online ordering system was a failure for us, but the food was good. The servers were a bit hit and miss.
A. G.
The best fish and chips I ever ate! The fish was really fresh and soft.
We had to wait a bit to get a table, which I guess was acceptable and the place had a good vibe. Inside the restaurant it's supposed to be quite nice as well, but couldn't go in as I had the dog with me and dogs are only allowed on the tables outside.
I'm giving four stars because I think dogs should be allowed inside as well.
J. M.
Polite staff despite the busy period. One of the staff gave us the wrong table number and they weren't so sure where to deliver our food orders. Food is nothing to rave about, fish and chips would probably taste better if they're warm. Apart from that the taste is just average. The coffee is splendid though.
S. D.
Great food, smallish portions. Was fab to sit outside but very squashed in the seating area.
A. S.
Nice place only the waterfront. Has a smart cover roof which was useful. Keeps the gulls away!
S. B.
This was probably one of the best breakfast/brunch meals I've had in a very long time.
Fantastic views and great food
F.
Customer service was amazing
Beautiful location , right by the water , can’t go wrong .
I think the music was a little bit loud inside .
The food was tasty I had the French toast ... will probably have a full English next time ...

Lovely food, great quality, never had a bad meal, it’s the only restaurant I’d go to on the beach! Great in winter too!
D.
Lovely little place on the beach with heading for the cold weather, friendly staff, tasty food and great service.
s. w.
The food was super tasty! There was a waitress on top of the cleaning and checking for rubbish all the time which was nice to see. They originally forgot the sauce with the chips but the food was so good! Maybe some outdoor heaters would add to the ambiance but overall was lovely. Well priced food_ cider was expensive though. A lovely watermelon drink had. Will be back
k. “. b.
Good beachfront cafe serving tasty food. Very pricey but you are praying for the location I guess. Fish and chips were lovely but I paid £5 for small beer can. We paid over £70 for 3 of us having fish and chips and a drink each 🙄
D.
Good breakfast and some interesting choices friendly staff and a good location on the beach front!
L. C.
Amazing coffee, amazing food, amazing staff and view! Highly recommended!!!
B. C.
We liked it, food (fish and chips) was nice but only 'nice'!
O. D.
Lovely place to have lunch. Food is delicious staff are friendly . Will definitely be back again.
D. M.
Great food, lovely beach front setting. Friendly staff.
C. F.
Good coffee, good outdoor seating area with some wind protection
H. B.
Loved it!! Atmosphere and ambience was superb!! Thourghly enjoyed this quirky quaint cafe on Brighton beach. And also the washroom and private inside seating area looked fantastic!! I highly recommend.
T. S.
Had coffee here and a toasted sandwich. Very nice but a long wait to be served 😕
T. O.
The local special fish and chips was really tasty - one of the best I've had. Well cooked fish with crispy, flavourful batter. Location right on the beach front, the perfect place to enjoy some great food.
A. G.
Very good fish and chips the best in the country fresh fish daily catch
J. L.
It says something that I drove down to Brighton specifically to visit here. Incredible food, generous portion sizes, lovely seaside view and not overly expensive. Staff are super nice too.
P. K.
Great spot. Very friendly bar, bookings and security staff. Hilarious bunch in fact. Made us want to stay in Brighton longer! Perfect stop after a long walk.
S. H.
Lovely barkeeper, lunch and view. Loved the friendly team! Keep up your energy.

Crikey just managed to erase my review by mistake! In a nutshell...if you're on Brighton beach and want a totally cool place to hang out and have great organic coffee, fab food and get fantastic customer service than this is defo the place …
R. S.
Food was great, had the tacos.
N. M.
great food and dogs welcome!
S. J.
Excellent service, delicious food with high quality ingredients
T. D.
It was good a bit chaotic I understand was busy , and the order system very confusing as well , no toilet for costumers . Maybe time to hire more people so the service I guess would go smother .. the food good very taste !
G. M.
There's a tradeoff in Brighton (and perhaps all touristed cities) between best location and best food. This place smashes it on location, the service is friendly and the food is OK. Enjoy the view or head north for better food.
S. B.
Fab place to have organic brekkie in the sunshine. Had the posh bacon buttie, can’t wait to have it again! 🤩💥
A. M.
Good fish and chips, great crab bruschetta, good burgers, friendly although slow service, nice atmosphere.
T. H.
Beach cafe in Brighton, great location on the shingle. My first fish and chips was small and cold when it arrived. They replaced it with a better sized hot portion with extra chips, the right thing to do
N. A. W.
It was a very busy lunchtime in half term, but communication could have been a lot better. It was not clear that we had to go up and order our own food. Plant based burgers were nice enough, but they mixed up my daughter's order. Not sure I would go again.
M. C.
Charming and funky little cafe, if you can get one of the 3 tables upstairs looking out over the beach :)
N. Y.
Nice location. Very slow service and we came in on a Monday. Were out of certain dishes. Didn't get everything we ordered. The waitress was very nice though. Won't be going back unfortunately.
T. T.
Great atmosphere, nice food and cocktails. We sat directly on the beach which of course gives you a nice summery feeling. The Bloody Mary is a perfect day starter!
F. A.
Nice lunch at a reasonable price with a fast service. Friendly helpful staff.
S. M.
Absolutely amazing food and lovely staff, honestly planning more day trips to eat at this place 😂 highly recommend
F. B.
Super location, varied menu and friendly, efficient staff
J. F.
Lovely Hake and chips...bit pricey but mice for a treat
B. M.
Busy cafe !! Restaurant staff , ambience, cocktails , burgers are ace . Plenty of tables inside and outside the restaurant. You get the sea view which is great too
B. A.
Polite friendly staff and great selection of food and drinks. Great coffee.
M. S.
Excellent service and lovely grub! Definately worth the pit stop if your passing by!!
C. A.
Great location directly on the beach. Good coffee. Not impressed with the food. We had crab eggs Benedict and full English breakfast. Both came with poached eggs which had been boiled hard. Service was ok, but not enough staff to provide for all the guests. Would probably come back for a drink and enjoy the view, but there are other better restaurants around.
S. J.
Excellent service, delicious food with high quality ingredients
a. a.
Taste good, price are a little more than expected and customer service is 6/10
Z. S.
What an absolute delight! The food was so good and the team were super nice. Nice spot by the beach too!
A. M.
Was one of the first to arrive early in the morning.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
C. N.
Great spot for lunch on the beach but service/the kitchen was quite slow. 40 mins for fish tacos and fish & chips. Although tasty I’m not sure I would be willing to wait as long again.
L. B.
Fun spot right off the beach and near some cute shops. I enjoyed the vegan burger and some refreshments. Staff was quick and friendly.
L. B.
Lovely brunch, great service, good location!
e. b.
Great food, friendly service and a fantastic G&T
C. M.
Great location, nice pimms, fish and chips were served cold.
The order at the till after sitting down system is also not the most customer friendly especially in the midst of recent pandemic - you don’t want so many customers walking around the restaurant unmasked.
T. P.
I think this place has went down hill a bit if I'm honest! I got the feeling that the kitchen missed my order. General consensus was could have been better!
My friend ordered the calamari and veg tempura, can out like they had mixed it all together and deep fried it in clump, the size of the chicken burgers were far feo what was expected! Tartar sauce tased like mayo with some shallots through it! Yeh just loads of annoying wee muggy things like that! Sad really!
K. M.
Hoorah for getting back to some sort of normality!
The Lucky Beach Cafe has already got back into its stride. I enjoyed cocktails and lunch in the sunshine yesterday!
The service is polite and efficient, the food coming out of the kitchen was fresh and tasty and the cocktails were spot on!
I had a 1st class Bloody Mary and my friend said her Passion on the Lucky Beach (rum, fresh passionfruit, lime and sparkling water) was really fresh and had a good kick.
The fish and chips came with hake, the fish was white and meaty and a little sweet, which is just how it should be.
Jamie (Mgr) has got his team sorted and looks set for a busy, sun filled season ahead!
All social distancing rules were followed properly, but didn't take anything away from the feeling of being OUT OUT! :)
L. C.
Delicious Korean fish and chips with pickled cucumber!
J. m. W.
Lovely English breakfast lovely chill out right on the beachfront
M. K.
Great brunch, we had the crab and avocado benedict with bloody Mary's.
J. M.
Amazing food and lovely staff.
P. L.
Great spot for a light lunch. The crab and avocado tartine was super fresh, tasty and well presented. Vegan tacos and the squid top notch! Effective and friendly service with plenty of space between tables. Would go again and recommend with pleasure!!
D. R.
Absolutely fantastic breakfast. Really really impressed. Last time we went in 2019 it wasn't as good. But can now say really good food and good service
K.
Popped in for a drink and a quick bite to eat. The food was great (Fish Tacos and Calamari) and enjoyed our pitstop.
J.
Lovely food. Funny staff. Enjoyed our visit 😊
L. K.
Good views of the beach and decent food.
D. H.
Best service ever from Bethany ❤️ lovely delicious brekkie xxx
L. G. C.
Nice cafe on the beach. The food was really tasty (most of the choices were about fish, of course!) and the drinks as well, we took some aperol spritz and they were quite similar to the ones you usually drink in Italy. The service was well done, with nice
and smiling staff. If I will ever come to Brighton again I will go there for sure.

Hip casual place... Great food... Great service and an amazing view. Simply one of the best placed to eat on the beach whether it's sunny or not!
J. S.
Great location by the sea and friendly service. Full english breakfast and eggs benedict were fine but nothing spectacular. Not visited for a while and portions now smaller than I recall. Coffee excellent though.
M. S.
Lovely brunch. There wasn’t many choices but what we did order we enjoyed (full-English breakfast and bacon butty).
D. M.
Lovely place to eat with really chatty friendly staff.
No photo but my recommendation for breakfast is the crab and avo eggs benedict, just amazing
P. W.
They tried, they coped with eight of us well but the breakfast was not up to my standard.the sausage I didn't recognise it it was flat you could read a paper through it and it was crisp and the rest was over cooked.i thought rather expensive for what it was.
S. H.
Right on the beach. Since it was a bit rainy, it was quite empty, and we got a spot under the umbrellas and heaters.
The QR code for the menu took a while to get working since it was fading.
Otherwise, a great spot to have a little drink with a view!
C. D.
Excellent burgers and chips. We were lucky enough to have a table on the terrasse and were warmly welcomed despite the wind :) will keep a nice memory of Brighton thanks to this!
p. c.
Fantastic food, great beach location, great service.
R. S.
Food was great, had the tacos.
L.
Excellent thank you for accommodating two hungry cyclist. Loved spiced up fish. 5*
J. F.
Think we had a religious experience with the homemade garlic mayo. All these other hack cafes and restaurants have clearly been fobbing us off for years. This is the real deal. Also, cute quirky seafront cafe: what’s not to like?
A. H.
If you're on the beach front, then Lucky Beach is one of the best options. The food is very good (although I think the fries could be a bit better) and the location is awesome. Things to improve on: make the tap water jug easier to use (water comes out so slowly), the fries are nice but could be better and have a wider selection of beers / ales. The fish was so tasty though - really good quality. And the staff were lovely too. Overall, a great asset to Brighton.

Brunch with the ladies' before we got the train back home
C. M. A.
It’s been my first time trying the Beyond Meat burger and i must say it’s impressive how similar to meet it tastes and looks. The burger was well cooked and presented, like the rest of the food we’ve ordered. Dishes aren’t particularly big, so if you’re hungry, you’ll probably need a couple of them to feel fulfilled. Service was kind and efficient and prices resonable. And the location literally in front of the beach is also a plus. Overall, a very good and tasty experience.
They have a recurrent award for the last few years as “sustainable restaurant” which is nice althought i reckon they could do a bit more in this aspect if they weren’t using single use plastic recipients for ketchup and mayo, or avoiding to use straws (they’re paper straws, but still single use).
A. C.
In a time of covid finding places to have breakfast in Brighton seemed like survival of the fitest. The group I was with got really lucky finding this restaurant food was really good and would go back.
S. Z.
The food and drinks here are very good, the service can be really bad though. Order came out late after chasing with the waitress and had to ask for the bill three times to be told to go indoors and settle it there. No sense of apology and made us feel like the waitress would rather we weren't there.
I thought this might have been a one of experience during a busy period but friends have encountered the same.
There's a lot going for this place. Food, location etc just needs a bit of a tweak with the service.
C. C.
The food is great, the fish and chips are worth it, the salads are nicely balanced and really tasty and the other fishy things are fresh and well prepared.
The staff however, polite but not effective -3 different members of staff took our order. Dining with two others who ordered before me, my food came first they had forgotten about my friends orders.
The atmosphere, it is on the sea front very nice location, not too many pigeons.
l. z.
Excellent service at this Brighton Beach Cafe. Thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich and chips midday, and would definitely return there.
H. B.
Directly on the Brighton Beach the Lucky Beach Cafe is a place you should visit when you are in Brighton. The staff is friendly and tries the best to make their costumers happy.
S. B.
It's lovely experience being there specially the ambience..there I loved freshly cooked fish and chips ..we also had some other sea food dishes along with some bear and wine..staffs are very active and courtesous too..I highly recommend this place and all the best to entire team..😀
A. G.
You’re in for a treat!
Came here on Valentine’s Day for a spot of lunch and got a table instantly, no wait. We were taken care of, amazingly by the friendly, caring and knowledgeable Jamie who looked after us superbly. He’s a perfect front of house host! Thank you so much for making our visit so special.
The menu is fantastic. You are spoilt for choice and we shared some Fish and Chips with their novelty coffees which was yummy a chilly grey day! But this little cafe tucked away in the arches, is a little drop of heaven and hugely inviting!
Can’t wait to come back here and try something new on the menu. It’s award-winning, local and sustainable cuisine which will leave you fully satisfied and itching to come back.
The decor, vibe and character of the place is something else! I was overawed by how charming it is and the affection and positivity of the staff working here is reflected by the excellent service and food.
Must-see stop off in Brighton. And the view of the seafront is the cherry on top!
Will return here in Summer 2020 for sure!
P.S. 20% off for students and NHS Staff
Also get try organic coffee!
Thank you once again Lucky Beach, and in particular Jamie who was ace and Grace for her handy tips!
N. A.
Place is very dirty and unkemped looking . I agree with reviewers here that the portions are very small , given that you have to pay for fries and they are small as well .
So why 4 stars ? Well , I just wanted somewhere to eat something so first impressions weren’t great but was there for food not the dining experience .
Can’t speak for others but the vegan burger I ordered was incredible . Very very tasty. The food quality was there just portions were small . Burgers that small you prob would have ordered 2 .
Some of the staff are quite curt . The guy with the big Afro was nice . Very pleasant and helpful .
S. M.
The location is AMAZING, it’s especially nice on a sunny day. The staff is absolutely lovely, very accommodating and friendly. The food is just meh, to be honest. You have to wait for a while to get food that could honestly be from just about anywhere, and it’s at a pretty steep price point for what you get. It was too greasy, too salty, just overall not fun to eat.
Would highly recommend the caramel hot chocolate though!
J. H.
Fantastic location and excellent service. Food was delicious, amenities were really clean cannot recommend enough. 5^
N. M.
great food and dogs welcome!
V. C. (.
Outstanding....... Beautiful staff food is stunning
A. J. B.
A little overpriced and overhyped for the taste of the food served . Ambience and location is awesome 👌
V. D.
Beautiful spot for breakfast, coffee or lunch.. however if you’re in a hurry you better find another place. Been here several times and todays experience made me write this review.
After waiting 10min for a staff to attend my table, I ordered a French toast and a cappuccino. Toast comes out in 10 but my drink never arrived until I asked for it. That’s another 15 min later after I had finished my toast.
They apologised as being a bit busy; but that didn’t stop them bringing out food and drink to all other customers.
It wasn’t extremely busy as I was there.
They don’t seem to have a system in place, waiters came and went without taking notice of you sitting at a table.
I had to get ones attention to ask if I can order.
They don’t take orders on a “1st come 1st serve” system as several tables got seated and served even tho my order wasn’t even taken.
Despite this, I always come here whenever am in Brighton!
Do love their French toast brioche with caramel and banana.
G. C.
Food was great! Fish and chips were delicious. We came with our 19 month old and the girls there were very accommodating and even gave our little one a few slices of orange she loves!
A. H.
Great food, great service . I didn't have to wait long for my order. The chips were amazing. Crispy calamari too. It is worth to pay a bit more to get great food.
G. W.
Excellent food and service, recommended
C. D.
The burger was quite moist and juicy. Not sure why it had an avocado though. The portion of fish was on the smaller side, and a bit overcooked. The fish and chips weren’t greasy, which was great!!
H. S.
Fabulous setting, great service and nice selection of food and drinks. Will definitely visit again.
G. Y.
Feel terrible giving four stars, but as the young ladies who were supposed to be taking orders were more interested in chatting to each other....
After ten minutes of failing to attract their attention, had to go inside to place our breakfast order. Such a shame as both food and coffee were excellent.
Same when it came to paying our bill. Hopefully the owners are reading this.
C. L.
Lovely food, great atmosphere and beach views.
M. M.
Very nice food (I had the vegan Impossible Burger which was very tasty).. but service slooOOOoow....drinks arrived long after food and had to keep asking &; staff seemed to be run ragged and had attitude. It was very busy but on a forecasted sunny bank holiday, I reckon they could have predicted this & hired a few more people so that everything could run smoother & happier for all. They did kindly take a portion of the bill off as we were waiting nearly half an hour to pay, but it did mar the experience. I would give them another chance as great location & lovely food & drink. That’s not enough to keep me returning though, so hope they do look at the many negative comments I keep reading with the same comments re the service..
M. S.
Liked it so much, we went back twice in the same day! They gave us the wrong burger at first but provided the correct order at no extra charge and were quite sweet about it.
The location Is good of course & prices aren't too high & it's all sustainably sourced. We didn't need to wait for a table for more than 4 minutes on a busy summer Sunday! Not bad. Good for groups and chilling
I. D.
Came here for a lunchtime burger with my 15yo son and was not disappointed with the food - one of the best burgers I've ever had and my son agreed. On a par with Burger Brothers for flavour, this patty is more tightly packed and firmer. The place is small and very busy, however the menu is limited and service is quick - so tables come free quickly, especially as probably 20% of customers only stop for a coffee! Will certainly be back.
J. R.
Great location, beautiful food and great service. But unfortunately the food didn't live up to the looks of it. Blend, dry and even though I was hungry I didn't enjoy it. I ordered their single estate brewed coffee and the roast was probably great but it was hard to find the taste because it was so watery. My company ordered a flat white based on a espresso that was to long and the milk was almost boiling and lost every creaminess. But still. That view! I would still go back.
J. D.
Burgers are always awesome here and their other dishes are always great of you don't fancy something meaty. Love their soft drinks too - their juicy fizzy mixes work really well. Price is a little bit expensive but to be expected for a prime location.
M. S.
A luncheon here is an absolute must for anyone visiting the beach in Brighton.
The menu was brimming with fresh flavour combinations and a wide variety of dishes.
The coffee was quite simply first class.
The service was efficient and prices were extremely good value.
Would I recommend this? One word: Yes.
P. M.
I eat here all the time. Best breakfast by far if you like top notch ingredients cooked well and the veggie breakfast is legend. The food is always of a refreshingly good standard and the staff are chilled out and helpful. Only serve breakfast till 12. it's also right on the beach so perfect when th sun is shining.
M. W.
Beautiful sea front cafe with a perfect Mojito and Burger and Chips. Shout out to Anna I think it was, young Irish lady that made us feel extra special during our visit. She alone made a trip back inevitable next time in Brighton.
G. &. J.
Me and my girlfriend came into lucky beach this morning for some brekkie as we were both off work for once! So nice by the beach, a little bit of a wait on drinks but we were kept up to date by the great waiting staff. The salted caramel hot choc was worth a try and the wait! Rosie the waitress was really engaging as a server and was a real friendly face. Will hope to be back in soon with our friends. Such a nice start to the day!
A. G.
Amazing food, lovely and caring staff :)
m. b.
Had the fish dog. Was great.
A. D.
Had an amazing vegetarian burger and a latte with a uniquely fruity taste (they roast their own beans and it shows). Everything on the menu is locally sourced, and you get a lovely beach view on top of it all. Highly recommended.
M. L.
I have a running list of my top 5 burgers I have ever had. Today 1st place made way for new champion! This was the best burger I have ever had. The fig jelly and hazelnuts, crispy bacon and ketchup leather combined made for a true champion. If I had liked cheese too I'm sure it would have added to the excitement! Well done Lucky Beach Cafe!
J. H.
Lucky beach would have always got five stars off me, its a fantastic restaurant, food is lovely, decor is beautiful.
Sadly the fantastic customer service which was one of the reasons I kept visiting has disappeared. If I could give the customer service a rating it would be a one, one waitress was out right rude. Probably won't be reccomending or visiting again for some time.
J. L.
Great spot on the beach. One of the few down the front that has sensible priced and good food. Lovely staff, small menu but ultimately Not an offensive rip off like a lot of units down there.
S. K.
just love this spot, on the pebbles, sea breeze and sunset views....burgers fabulous and fries a treat, could have been temperature 'hotter' but always a good bet. Staff very friendly, especially Turtle!
s. s.
Wow best breakfast ever. This place is lovely inside with a vintage marine feel but better still sat outside looking out at the sea. The food is like nothing I have tasted before. All fresh and cooked from scratch including the bread, gluten free options available too. They cater for most diets, vegan and veggie etc. I love all the unusual fresh ingredients used like bee's pollen and micro herbs. The locally sourced streaky bacon is a thing of smoky, melt in the mouth wonder. We never miss a visit to Lucky Beach when in Brighton. 😀
A. S.
Such nice environment, great cocktails very light and refreshing. Staff are absolutely great
V. C.
Nice vibe and friendly, helpful staff!
S. S.
Good food / cool place to eat on the sea front.
Z. B.
Good fish and chips. Fresh and tasty but nothing spectacular that would distinguish it from others. Price for one portion (very generous) is about £10.50
A. D.
Great burgers (mine was medium rare, which I was very pleasantly surprised about), very friendly service. Could have been slightly more fish on the kids fish and chips, but only a very small minus... Will definitely be going back to try the other burgers!
J. F.
The food is excellent and nothing like in London. You don't have to wait long to order for food and drinks. Customer server is really pleasing .For example fish and chips are natural and not frozen. Really delicious.
M. S.
One of our family's favourite cafes, they are so friendly and they are so good with children. The food is always great and its a fab start to our weekend before walking along the beach
R. T.
Food has gone a bit down hill IMO. Burger was very tasty but badly executed - too much salad and the bun seemed stale. Chicken wings were pretty gross and the chips were not seasoned. Finally they forgot the salad that I paid for and didn't include any dips as promised. I will not be going back as there are too many better offerings.
M. P.
Superb food and amazing drinks. Friendly service and host Hatch taking care of the customers and beautifully allocating people when is literally no space 🙌🏻
D. P.
Food was good but you don’t get a lot for the money. Location is fantastic. Service got manic.
Food; B12 burger ok not great, burger was nice and juicy but bread was dry. Good full english breakfast with good quality ingredients.
Location; Nice beach spot. Lovely to sit out the front and have kids play on the beach whilst you eat.
Service; Asked for sauce and it came 5 mins later. Staff didn’t know who had ordered what. Asked for the bill twice then paid at till.
m.
Delicious food but really overpriced for what you get! Fish to chip ratio needs some work, fresh fish was delicious but the portion was tiny and there were too many chips. Burger delicious.
P. R.
Awesome coffee and a stunning view. Went on a cold November morning and has a great time.
S. R.
Really tasty and not bad value!
K. C.
Great views and food, wonderful service
b. c.
Great location right on the seafront, coffee was average
N. I.
Having been here many times I was disappointed by the food being at best lukewarm. Tasty but concerning to be so cool.
T. M.
It was very frustrating as you HAVE to download the app and order everything through your phone, but with no WiFi it was slightly difficult only 1 of us could get a signal to do it, also not every one has smart phones, as in older people so it's abit like only want younger people in there???
C. J. 4.
Great little place, food is good we had a burger and a chicken burger both very good. the staff are nice and friendly! the only complaint, the wine was to warm and had to ask for ice..
N. V.
Amazing calamari tacos, korean chicken burger and fries by the beach! Shame about the million seagulls though!
M. M.
We go semi-regularly because burgers can be amazing, but sadly too variable - sometimes over-cooked and cold. Tacos came out cold, stale and soggy, replacement £10.90 salad was literally a bag of leaves dumped in a bowl. Service consistently friendly but dreadful.
F.
Great Brunch, easy going vibe, service was good, also had a lovely view of the beach
K. E.
LBB burger was excellent. The burgers themselves are great. Clearly good fresh meat is used to make them. Fries were nice and crispy. Great location right on the beach.
J. J.
Nice place for a glass of wine but keep an eye out where you sit. There are portfolios quite close and on a hot day may be unpleasant
W. W. L.
Cossy cafe by the beach. The staffs were friendly and very welcoming too.
Went there for breakfast. Their English breakfast was decent but their coffee was great! I sat upstairs by the window on the cushioned seat and enjoyed the morning beach view, such a relaxing experience!
W. H.
Outstanding breakfast. Brilliant staff. Highly recommended
S. E.
My favourite place on the sea front.
Lovely staff and a great menu.
Also a perfect spot for people watching with a nice glass of wine.
T. C.
This place is just great. It's sometimes very busy because it's so good and food then can take some time to come. However, good things come to those who wait. Baked burgers, breakfasts to die for and when it's sunny an Aperol Spritz goes down really well, and they make a mean one. Freindly staff. Love the place.
S. C. H.
One of the best fish&chips I've ever had.
You must try their local beer "Lucky Beach See Side APA". Absolutely amazing.
100% worth it.
J. S.
Great little beach side restaurant. Very friendly and helpfull staff looked after 8 of us very nicely. There is an interesting choice of foods and drinks which were very pleasant. Vegeterians are well catered for and locally caught fish was available. Would go again. Highly recommended. Prices reasonable.
S. B.
Vegetarian options, great views and a good selection of drinks available too.
A. S.
Lovely food. Good prices. Friendly staff clean environment well worth the visit. Great job guys.
z. g.
Fabulous breakfast down by the sea front.. much better than the breakfast club in my opinion! Recommend...
M. C.
Staff friendly prompt service and lovely views out to sea and along the prom
N. S.
Good food, staff and facilities are good for a beachfront place. Do good cocktails too.
M. W.
Best fish and chip place in Brighton. Really tasty food. Must try the free curry sauce. Both my kids loved it as well. Don't know why'd you go anywhere else !!!
P. B.
Great beach side cafe with fantastic local food and drink
d. s.
Lovely day to sit by the beach. Took a while to get served but we were in no hurry so just enjoyed the sunshine. Eventually thirst forced us to try and attract the attention of the waitress who had seemed somehow not to even notice our existence up to that point. Maybe a sign that due to advancing years and a receding hairline we have gradually become more invisible.
T. O.
My wife had the double diablo burger and she said it was the best burger she ever had. The clam chowder was excellent. We ordered a kid's fish and chips but the portion is really a bit too small for a 6 year old.
T. S.
Love the food here breakfast with the perfect view of Brighton beach . Service always friendly and amazing value
L.
The food was good, except one salad came with no chicken, so just leafs. It was a busy weekend. Not all staff knew what they had, only one actually assisted us.
Reasonably priced for the seafront
a. n.
Delicious brunch. Lovely staff and great just to sit outside on a warm day . I've missed it!
T. M.
Delicious crab and prawn sandwiches whilst looking out to sea. What more could you want!
M. K.
Popular and loved beachfront cafe serving great food and drink. Amazing spot to sit and watch the sea.
J. S.
Just had the best breakfast
Looked amazing was amazing
Do not hesitate to eat here
D. P.
First note the 1 and only paddle board hire in brighton.. Paddle board hire was very disorganised ending up with a kayak and a long wait also alot of people served after and out before us, but we got complimentary drinks so yeah not bad 🤪 staff were hilarious
L. P.
Delicious food for fair prices. On sunny days it is great to sit in front of Lucky Beach and to enjoy the gorgeous feeling of Brighton. Especially I can recommend fish and chips. It is way more fresh and tasty than anywhere else.
A. A.
Bloody nice place food is out of this world worth coming here right close to the beach worth going for.
S. T.
Over priced food, trys to be fancy but fails food looks good but tastes no better if not worse than a normal road side cafe, fantastic location though for that reason I'd go again but maybe for a coffee not breakfast
P. S.
"Local cod and chips" - which comes with a herbed grilled lemon and tartar sauce - eaten on a deckchair on the beach in the sun, and not a billionaire in the world is having a better lunch than you.
K. J.
Amazing place with real holiday feeling. Great food and drinks
j. b.
A Nice place. The food was delsih Fantastic view onto the beach.
S. A. O.
Great food. Appropriate portions for its prices. wonderful staff. And an amazing view of the beach. All in all. Amazing.
P. K.
Nice place to have something to eat, I'm vegetarian so wasn't good options for me

I've finally gotten around to having a Lucky Beach burger, and BOY am I impressed.
I was pretty famished earlier and couldn't be bothered to go out for lunch so I thought I'd opt for a deliveroo, and noticed Lucky Beach. Now everyone I've met that has been has raved about the place, not to mention the great reviews here on Yelp. I really fancied a burger, although I am aware that burgers don't usually travel too well. After seeing the list of delicious sounding burgers available, I thought I'd risk it.
I ended up choosing the LBB (Lucky Beach Burger) 1/3lb dry-aged local organic sussex beef, kombu cheddar cheese fondue, ketchup leather (not sure what the leather part is), lardo fried onions and housemade pickles in a truffle bun. Also comes with fries. Decadent!
I made my order and it arrived within 25 mins. Speedy service! The fries were a little cold but that was to be expected, so I gave them a quick blast in the microwave. I'm neither here nor there when it comes to fries, but it must be said these were really tasty, decent fries. Just the right sized portion for me too. I don't know about you, but when I have a burger I don't like to have too many fries, too filling and you end up not having enough room for the burger.
Now on to the burger itself. I'm just going to put this out there right now that Lucky Beach could give Burger Brothers a run for its money, and that's saying something!!
The truffle bun had a lovely texture, it didn't crumble upon eating, and it held the burger well. The beef patty itself was extremely tasty, very flavourful and cooked medium, just how I like them. The kombu cheddar fondue was really nice and something I've never had before. The lardo fried onions were sweet, tangy and not too greasy. I liked the size of the burger too, as in Ben H's review, it's just the right size so that you don't end up in a mess or having to dismantle it with a knife and fork.
All in all I have to say I'm extremely impressed, the quality for me was great even though the burger had to travel! I can only imagine how good they would be in the restaurant, and I am looking forward to paying them a visit either for breakfast (which is also meant to be fantastic) or another burger!
K. L.
Good breakfast, decent coffee. Crab avocado benedict was a winner. Was super busy (bank holiday) so a little manic but service was friendly. Portions on the veg breakfast were a little tight. Would go back.
D. E.
Great food, great view, great service
C. S.
Been here a few times now, once for lunch which was excellent and the 2nd time just for a drink. We were sitting there for a while and a waiter bought us some complimentary chips! Excellent customer service which you don't find in many places!
m. O.
Lovely cafe. Great staff. Great food. Amazing location. Good atmosphere. I often take out of town friends for breakfast there.
M. L.
Friendly, well prices and with a brilliant range of options of vegans and vegetarians.
Great choice of drinks an overall modern feel to a cafe.
Will highly recommend as the perfect place for a lunch on the seafront
C. A.
It was nice to have such a good and healthy breakfast so early in the morning. A sweet and friendly team.❤
R. C.
The complimentary glasses for water were not clean. Then all of the sudden I felt like the place was not very clean either. The food was tasty and service was good with a lively atmosphere by the sea.
K. S.
I visited the Lucky Beach with a friend on a Saturday morning in November. One of the few places that was open and serving shortly after 9am. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome, and let us choose where we wanted to sit. The beach-front location is lovely - great views of both piers and the sea, but sheltered enough that we felt able to sit half outdoors where we could catch some sun.
The choice for breakfast is good - traditional cooked (with a vege options), eggs and bacon, continental - but also some more exotic options such as avocado toast. After some deliberation, we both went for the eggs benedict, which is served with ham hock and smashed peas, a combination which works surprisingly well. I'd have liked a little more hollandaise sauce to soak up with the sourdough toast, since it was a bit dry without.
My cappucino was good, and the pot of tea was generous. The juices were a bit disappointing, despite having a fairly wide range they seemed to be from a carton.
By the time we were finishing, quite a few people had turned up, singles and couples drinking coffee, quietly chatting, reading newspapers and watching the sea front path start to wake up. It was a very nice way to start a Saturday morning. I can't fault the service and the food was truly excellent, with only a little room for improvement.
K. J.
Simply delicious food and super friendly towards dogs. Have always had very friendly staff towards humans, too. More for naughty luxury brekkies and brunches than healthy boring ones.
b. u.
I think I expected too much as had read good reviews and the place has awards.... My egg was runny/snotty, all day I could not quench my thirst from the bacon andadvise not leaning against any wall as the location causes constant damp and white paint comes off on clothes.
Excellent service tho
H. O.
Really cosy place, head upstairs for a comfy sofa with lots of cushions by a big window overlooking the sea - beautiful and atmospheric. Love the plants everywhere. Lovely service and fruity coffee
L. M.
Nice friendly staff good service food lovely will be back before I go home
H. C. (.
Drink a bit pricy but very friendly staff. Nice flavour and well prepared food.
K. d. P.
Amazing food and service. Basically on the beach! Went for brunch and had eggs Benedict and brioche French toast and would recommend both. 5 stars for sure
C. B.
Very cosy, welcoming .not the cheapest but worth it down to my company
M. M.
Wonderful place, nice food, very friendly staff. It was no problem to order one plate to share for 2 people, which can be in other places. Loved it, right on the beach!
A. C.
Lovely coffee, deckchairs and amazing views looking out to sea. Very friendly staff.
t.
I love food places run by Millenials...they are always unpretentious and relaxing with an understanding of non-processed food. To find this on Brighton beach was miraculous. Had the Beirut breakfast. Worth every penny! Go.
R. J.
Menu a bit limited.Nice fish and chips but cost £14.95.Expensive for an outdoor beach cafe.
R. B.
Here's the deal. Lucky beach, on a good day, makes and serves the best burgers outside of LA's Apple Pan on West Pico. The location is OK, on the beach front walk, so at times a human zoo in the way only Brighton can achieve; if you can eat beach side, do it. but watch out for the wind.
M. E.
Great location, right on the beach. The inside has been beautifully decorated. The only reason I am giving 4 rather than 5 stars is that the service was quite slow.
s. c.
Frickkin lovely place. Got to go to the outdoor bit on a lovely day and savour the amazing burger options. Had the LBB. v nice, reasonably priced too, I thought but I do live in London so maybe locals wouldn't agree!
C. S.
I love this beach restaurant. Great views, plenty of seats and great food
B. A.
Amazing brunch food, great location (can eat inside or on the beach). Food is a bit pricey, but the quality makes it worth it. However the portions are generally small.
L. G.
My favourite restaurant in Brighton without a doubt! Amazing fish dishes and burgers! The fish and chips are to die for. Specially while staring at the beach!
T. R.
Great staff and really lovely food. Recommend the passionfruit fizz as a nice refreshing drink on a summer's day.
p. p.
Yummy food and friendly people there.
J. B.
Good quality food and very nice service. Not massive portions, but enough for most people. They also do free refills on coffee, which is nice.
E. T.
Great little place on the seafront! Lots of outdoor seating, very friendly staff and an awesome breakfast menu. I'd highly recommend the breakfast taco!
M. B. D.
👍
J. W.
Food was okay with sensible prices and a reasonable selection on the menue. However presentation was very poor as food looked as if it had been dumped on the plates...pitty.
D. B.
A lovely relaxing day was had worshipping the sun God
A ploughman's for lunch washed down with a few beers 🍻🍻😎🌞🌞
P. C.
Lovely place to stop, friendly staff, but service was pretty slow. Food looked amazing, but I only had drinks so can't comment on taste.
H. L.
I had the biscoff marrachino(?) it was fantastic and staff were super friendly! Will definitely be back then when I'm next in Brighton!

Great Location, catered really well for people with allergies, friendly helpful staff and fabulous food! All overlooking Brighton Beach. The food was amazing and some items were really different! Highly recommended!

Good food, nice view. Cocktails look good, but are not impressive. Staff mixed up our order, but they fixed it somewhat fast

Great food whether it be breakfast (it had to be the fat boy brioche French toast, trust me) or one of their great burgers, on a sunny day there are few places better to go!

Compared to the usual Brighton beach food, this place is a must go! Quality organic food. lovely staff and reasonably priced. Can be busy over weekend as expected
L. C. R.
The burgers are great! And the location is superb. The only negative point it's the glasses and cutlery are not as clean as they should. It happened both times I went there...

THEIR CHIPS ARE AMAZING.
THEIR BURGUERS ARE GREAT.
Please just take my money and feed me.

Great view from upstairs! However the food was not great value for money. 17 pound for a burger, chips and a drink is not student friendly.

I have tried many burger places some of my favourite's are: in and out burger, shake shack and fat burger. However this was the best burger I have had in the UK. If you like the burger bars listed you should try this place.

Excellent vege breakfast, friendly, cheerful, efficient service. Sideshow of 24 rugby players in hot pink or yellow wigs and victorian bathing costumes an additional bonus.

Delicious food and lovely staff, as always. And the central seafront location is brilliant.

The best place to get a burger on Brighton beach, great tasting food! The only thing that lets it down is slightly slow service, usually only just because they're so busy!
P. A.
Nice food and location. Was busy when we went but was surprisingly served quickly. Would go again.

Great coffee and food, great veggie wraps, burgers and fish and chips. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. A very dog friendly restaurant too.
M. A. W.
Lovely place at the beach. You should have the almost famous breakfast burger and the fench toast with extra bacon and Elvis style with banana and peanut butter.
C. O.
Amazing fish and chips! Nice atmosphere, friendly and fast service.
T. B.
Great spot! I'd actually told my "out of town" guests that I was yet to have good fish and chips in Brighton, and had to eat my words after this spot!
J. B.
Groovy place right on the beach front. Friendly service, great drinks and delicious food. Would highly recommend it.
C. C.
My god the food is fantastic! I've moved out of Brighton now but the craving for one of their burgers has lingered! Amazing.
D. A.

A. S.

N. C.
Nice food. Service a bit slow. Friendly staff who were accommodating.
A. H.
The food was ok but considering all the marketing it has claiming to have one of the best burgers in the UK it was a real let down. It also was just trying to hard to be cool...
K. S.
Had a lovely fish and chips
