We both had meze and really enjoyed it! There were a whole variety of flavours on the plate. There were also other individual meals, but these seemed like they'd be too small by themselves and there weren't any sides on offer. Still, the meze was superb!

The best deli in Brighton. If you're considering coming here, just go, you won't regret it. The mezze is always outstanding and super affordable, plus the staff are so welcoming and friendly. I'd recommend getting the meatball mezze with some lokumi for after.

I just went today for the first time and what a hidden gem I just found. Food was amazing, tasty, healthy and abundant. Fruit juice was just-made, sweet and refreshing. I can’t wait to go back.

Very tasty food. Middle Eastern . Spicy wraps and meze. Nice combinations . Coffee and baklava also good. Not too expensive . Nice lunch stop. You tend to have to share tables though as the place is tiny. There are vegetarian options but it does major on combos with chicken and meat.

Came here for lunch the other day and had delicious and very reasonably priced food. I ordered the vegetarian salad box which came with a whole platter of different salads, hummus, falafel and dips. It was an extremely generous portion, which I wasn't able to finish, however the friendly staff put my remains in a take away box for me. The coffee was great and I had a little energy ball to take away which was packed full of flavour. I will definitely be returning!

Great friendly service, impeccably clean, some nice outdoor seating (rare on London Road) and indoor ambience - plenty of seating upstairs and smaller tables downstairs. I've been going to Sunbirds for well over 2 years, wether it's eating in or taking away the staff are friendly & welcoming and the food is always incredible. Really good value for money and very good portion sizes. Everything was good in here. I highly recommend.

Fantastic food prepared quickly at reasonable prices. The only feedback for improvement is that the takeaway mezze boxes are single use plastics. Takeaway wraps are packaged in paper, which is a more environmentally friendly option.

Love the food here and often buy a mezze to take home. Today I treated myself to eating upstairs among the beautiful lights that decorate this room. As always food superb - I had the chicken mezze and peppermint tea. It's not a big room so I was lucky to get a table where I sat very contentedly enjoying my fresh tasty lunch. Bliss!

We had the mixed meze and stuffed peppers, and they were great, the meze were some of the best we've tried including in "proper restaurants". Everything was very fresh and Charlie the owner even makes his own baklava! The cinnamon and the cocoa baklava were amazing! Great tea selection and friendly staff...

Yes London rd is full of randoms but Sunbirds could charge double if it was in Ship St. Their spiced coffee served in the little brass set with Turkish delight is amazing. The food is so tasty, every item on the plate hits you with with lovely intense flavors. Veggie or meat everything on the menu is worth trying. If you don't eat meat you won't feel like the poor cousin eating here. As for value, I can't think of anywhere in Brighton that comes close.

Whoever runs this place knows their food, I'm middle eastern and not easily impressed with middle eastern restaurants let alone cafe's and smaller restaurants. This place topped it, really great food and the staff are also very very friendly and generous. I'm bringing my mom here.
