Wonderful place my friend recommended on my visit to Brighton. Very lovely staff, amazing food and drink with vast selection. Caters mainly to vegan and vegetarian, but does have eggs. We'll worth popping in!
C. R.
Super friendly staff, delicious food (I couldn't believe it was vegan)!! Especially tasty gluten free bread too. Lovely to sit outside in the sun. Great prices, eveything was so reasonable. We don't normally choose meat-free cafes but it was a lovely change, thanks!
L. I.
Lovely little vegan/veggie cafe offering a huge range of thick cut bread sandwich options, pittas, salads, and soup of the day. Drinks include the usual teas and coffees with iced options and vegan milks plus various fruit and canned drinks. Outside and inside seating. Dog friendly. Lovely staff. Loyalty card on offer too.

I've been here a few times. The long black coffee is delicious, one of my top three in Brighton so far. I've also had a pot or two of earl grey here which is lovely if you like earl grey. I've had lunch here once, the soup of the day, which was tomato, pepper and Basil. It was delicious and I would happily have it again. The staff here are always friendly and helpful and the place has a pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this coffee shop if you're in the seven dials area.

Amazing service
Outstanding coffee
And the vegan bacon...omg, I'm converted!!!!
Great value
....and they even have
Gluten free coffee cake
No Way !!!!
Don't procrastinate. This is the place to go 🏃🏼

Excellent spot for good, healthy food. Service is consistently very friendly and happy to explain the menu to non vegans like myself.
Menu is mostly vegan but they offer real cheese and eggs to non vegans. Coffee is the best at the dials for sure. Food is made to order and takes a sec, while coffee is ready very quickly.

Really enjoyed lunch here. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The veg food was top drawer, the kind where you're not thinking "this is ok for a vegetarian substitute" and just thinking "this is delicious". Good value too, £40 for four of us including coffees. Will be coming back :)
A. G.
Very quick and friendly service. Simple and tasty veggie dishes. The awesome staff even offered to move our table under the awning for us when it startled drizzling. We’ll be back!

Oh my goodness! This place is awesome! Usually you go somewhere and the food is great but the service less so, or the people are lovely but the food is average - not this place! Everything was top notch!
I had the overnight soaked oats and they were culinarily perfect. They tasted so good but weren't too sweet or bland. Lovely flavours but not overpowering or too samey. Yum! My sister had the Vg bacon sandwich, which was not only generous, but also delicious!
I think that the thing I liked about this place was that not point was the food awesome, but the staff were also super nice, super efficient, and made excellent recommendations. I don't think I can say enough good things really!
Oh! And I had a caramel cappuccino and it was amazing! Thanks T @ The Dials!
J. M.
As a really fussy vegan this was my first vegan cafe experience (turned vegan last summer) and was anxious I wouldn't like the food or have to have lots of items removed. It was a lovely experience with really friendly staff and amazing food! The vegan bacon and sausages were perfect. Can't wait to come back soon! :)

One of my favourite vegan dine ins in Brighton and Hove. Delicious range of vegan meals from great sandwiches to sizzling jerk chicken! Wow! As well as a great selection of drinks too. Only downside is the location.. Something about having stinking traffic directly next to where you're eating without much of an alternative place to sit and eat is a shame.. I do find I can't quite sit and enjoy the food in peace haha. Still very delicious and would definitely recommend, just hope they're able to find a better spot soon:)
A. D.
Amazing service as I had brunch. Was helped with choosing a tea as I was spoilt for choice, and the portions were so generous they kindly gave me the rest in a to go box. Waitress was so surprised and grateful at my tip that she doubled checked I meant to tip! Everyone there is very warm and friendly :) would highly recommend
L. W.
Really lovely place, friendly family run business. Options for vegan, gluten free and meat eaters. Great decor and fab place to sit for a nice coffee in the Seven dials area, definitely recommend!

EDIT - DROPPED STAR.
5* experience in every way.
This is one of the local places that Google suggested I tried for breakfast. After finding out this cafe was participating in the government Eat Out to Help Out scheme I headed over with my partner.
The staff were personable and attentive. My girlfriend was able to specifically choose what she wanted on her meal.
I had a hot cappuccino and my girlfriend had a coffee-based milk shake - both were delicious and in my opinion the best cappuccino I have had the pleasure of enjoying in Brighton.
We then had avocado on toast with poached eggs and I had the veggie sausage and egg with ketchup - also delicious.
Overall, I will be returning to this cafe in the future even without the government scheme it would be easy to eat and drink here for under £10 per head.
A hidden gem in the seven dials area which deserves some publicity!
*EDIT*
Third time back here, 45 minutes wait for two coffees. People next to us came 10 minutes after we arrived and were paid up and gone long before we even saw our drinks.
When they arrived the taste was good. We got an apology for the wait but still a very long wait as we were supposed to be somewhere.
b. k.
This is a 100% Vegan restaurant. Loved the butter Croissant, Danish, and Cappachino!
Chocolate Cake needs improvement.
S. B.
So happy to have found this little gem!
Trying to find convenient gluten free food has been quite a challenge, trying to find really nice gluten free is even harder, but this place is a game changer.
The gluten free bread is incredible, closest to normal bread ive ever tasted. Im not a veggie, and genuinely couldn't tell the difference with the Chicken and bacon Sandwich.
Staff were really friendly too.
J. R.
No crazy prices for oatmilk Lattè just £2.90 and very nice coffee to! ended buying a bag of the Roasted beans, vegan, and gluten free pastries cakes etc sweet and savoury. Loyalty card scheme.
A. A.
Lovely cosy cafe with a great menu and delicious food preparation. Excellent breakfast options. Warm and welcoming staff. Its always a pleasant experience visiting this place.
d. g.
Awesome, delicious, vegan food. Great choice of coffees, teas etc. Super friendly staff. Dog friendly.
F. N.
Went here a while ago. The sandwiches are the best I've ever had. Seriously, if you want a god tier sandwich this is the place.
T. W.
Amazing vegan sandwiches. Chicken and Bacon was unreal. Friendly chaps running the place too. Very recommended. Picture doesn’t do it justice!
J. B.
I love this tiny place. The coffee and all the food is fab. The staff are also very friendly. The only downside and reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is that on occasion (when busier) I have been left a long time waiting to be served. But doesn't put me off coming back as it's such a great cafe.

This place just makes you happy! The most wonderful, friendly service, amazing food and they love dogs! We visited while away in Brighton with our dog Nora. We were made to feel so welcome, Nora loved the treats that she was fed too. The lady who I presume was the owner was chatty kind and a wonderful host. It was easy to see why the place was so busy. Cannot recommend the food enough either. My husband is a meat eater but had the BLT max and said it was absolutely delicious. My daughter and I had the garlic mushrooms roasted tomato hummus and cashew nut curd. Seriously the tastiest brunch we had that week. We will definitely be back on our next trip there.🤎 thank you for making us and our dog so welcome.
R. H.
Popped in here yesterday for a Sunday breakfast and loved it! Staff were super friendly and the food and coffee tasted amazing! A small and cute place that I definitely will go back to soon x
V. H.
Amazing breakfast! Came here with my partner for breakfast while in Brighton for the weekend & we were very impressed! Our breakfasts were beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. They have a large selection of options for Vegan diners & plenty of plant based milks & sweet treats. Will definitely be back!
c. s.
Just passing & stopped off for brekky, so glad we did. I had the sausage bun... those vegan sausages are to die for - not literally you understand 😉. So delicious and the coffee is delish too. Great cosy atmosphere and such friendly staff. Well done you have a little gem. Highly recommend 👌
F. S.
Has Vg shawarma from the menu and although it was good with harissa 🌶 the chef may have missed the major ingredient of the dish which is the"white sauce", made from Tahini, garlic and yoghurt sauce. Still gave it all stars as per the quality and friendly service
R. P.
My favourite place to eat in Brighton.
Amazing gluten free options and selection. All is vegetarian or vegan so options are endless.
Everyone in my family loves the sandwiches, cakes, drinks and everything.
Not a friendlier run place to eat and drink at.
Xxx

Having had this wonderful coffee shop round the corner from me for the past few years has been a blessing. During tougher periods, being able to visit T on a Sunday morning, and be met every time with a smile, the best coffee in Brighton and an incredible vegan pasty, genuinely made my week on more occasion than one.
J. A.
Big thumbs up fir the smashed avocado on toast. And great guest coffee too.
S. T.
Lovely staff and lovely food.
The photo speaks for itself 😁
L. D.
Best vegan sandwiches in Brighton!
The staff were so warm and welcoming. It’s the kind of place you walk into and feel instantly relaxed. It’s small but there’s some breezy outdoor seating to bask in the sun in. You could easily bring a meat eater and they wouldn’t even realise it’s vegan! The coronation ‘chicken’ tasted so authentic and good that I didn’t even care about the raisins. Delicious!
V.
Very yummy vegan options! The staff is super nice and we are definitely coming back.
D. G.
Lovely coffee, very delicious breakfast and great customer service.
D. M.
Ordered a smoothie, deli burger and brownie..AMAZING! I was actually taken aback by how good it was, vegan deli butter was amazing and the brownie was huge! Definitely recommend!!!
H. A.
Fantastic vegan food/drinks and even more fantastic service. The PB brownie is to die for. 100% would recommend and of course we will be back. 😊
A. S.
This is a reincarnation of the Almond Tree, and it retains the same penchant for pioneering innovative vegan and vegetarian food. It serves non-vegetarian food too though! It has small but cosy interiors and ample outside seating. The food is freshly made and the menu is quite creative, so there are enough options. Staff has always been warm and friendly. Overall, a relaxed casual place!
A. R.
The staff are always lovely and welcoming and very understanding of little loud children. They've got a nice selection of hot drinks, delicious food and amazing cakes (vegan included).
The decor is very warm and idyllic and the new layout allows for more seats and better access around the café.
It's always a pleasure to go there and I would wholeheartedly recommend T @ the Dials
M. A.
discovered this family run and very friendly eatery during my recent trip to Brighton. Both the vegan and meat eaters amongst us left satisfied. Very good coffee and fresh vegan treats sourced from local providers. Thanks x
d. f. -. t.
Great veggie food , best veggie breakfast we've had in a very long time . And a very generous amount . Staff are so helpful going out of there way to make something special if you can't find anything on there extensive menu . Beautiful little cafe . We will be going back .
A. W.
Ordered through Uber eats for home delivery, got a vegan sandwich and coffee, both amazing and so good. 100/10, will be ordering again🤩
A. Y.
Possibly the best sandwiches you'll have in Brighton, thick and overflowing with flavour. Their was brownies and espresso was perfect too. Really inviting people.
D. H.
Always greeted with a smile and a lovely cheery voice!
Food is always tasty, got a sandwich today and was pleasantly surprised by how big it was and the fact they have brown sauce. The bread they use is great too!
Nothing to fault with these guys, they are doing a fab job! I certainly recommend trying them.
P. G.
Loved all the vegan and vegetarian options! Great sandwiches and soup.
R.

We walk to this beautiful family run friendly new Cafe all the way from Brighton. The Decor is great and natural and later learnt that some of it was built by the owners husband who we had the pleasure of meeting. Our family of 6 enjoyed different flavours of Tea. We met Tracey the owner and her wonderful husband Brian and the friendly staff who looked after us very well even though the place was busy. Friendliness and smiles go a long way so we were very happy with the whole experience @ T @ The Dials.
D.
Delicious iced chai and really nice staff. The breakfast sandwiches looked really good too!
J. S.
The best vegan sandwich I've ever eaten. Great service from the staff. I'll definitely be back next time I visit Brighton.
J. B.
Just the most delicious BLT, rivalling even genuine meat based BLTs. Haven't had one mediocre purchase from T @ the dials, everything is delicious! I'm not vegan but I wouldn't hesitate to buy a treat from here instead of a regular patisserie/café. Highly highly recommend 🤤
C. O.
The owner makes most of the cakes and pastries on display, and they are veggi/vegan, so guilt free indulgence. All coffees and juices are amazing and the bacon/Chk (veggi) is my fave!
B. S.
Good Java. Decaf or fully leaded! 😁
s. t.
Lovely new cafe on Dyke Rd, very friendly staff! went in with my partner caters for vegans as well as meat eaters! Will definitely be coming back for a coffee and a cake after pride today!

Popped in for coffee and breakfast, had no idea it was vegan but it didn’t matter, had a lovely breakfast and excellent coffee. Thanks
H. D.
Excellent food, really friendly. Chef made a mistake on one of the orders, we didn't even notice, but he deducted it from the bill without being asked. Top!
T. M.
Delish food and drinks, lovely staff, reasonable prices, fab location, manages to be not up-itself but still really good quality. Also great playlist!
J.
