Reviews of Boston Tea Party
Y. Y.
So the first time we went, the food was good, a little pricy, but fairly worthwhile. No issues with service, all went well.
Second time, great food, but our drinks never turned up. Getting a hold of someone was a pain as they are too busy serving food, and the online ordering meant they weren't looking for customers flagging them. This was after the server noticed the lack of drinks and said he'd go chase it up. I eventually gave up and had to go to the tills to find someone to ask for a refund. Not much in the way of an apology and the refund didn't process correctly. The latter is partially my fault for not having a card other than Amex.
Good food experience really messed up by a software based solution that doesn't always work. A good place is not defined by how things go when all is smooth, but when things don't go to plan, and this was not good in that respect. Will definitely have to rethink about going back in future.
Update: Re-upped to 5 stars. I really appreciate when feedback is actually read. The manager clearly cares about customer experience and has reached out following filling out one of the feedback forms. I fully appreciate that it was a busy morning and their wait staff were busy with orders going out from a clearly efficient kitchen, and I could perhaps have gone up to the tills earlier, but I hope that for any future visits the system works as it should - because it is great when it does.
The food is delicious and worthwhile and this place still comes highly recommended.
L. M.
Absolutely top quality breakfast/brunch! Very friendly and helpful staff. You can order from the table with the QR code or go to the counter.
Take away coffee is only sold in reusable cups so bring your own - everywhere should be like this!
Only reason for missing the 5th star is that it is pricey. When two people spend £30 on breakfast and a drink, it’s a bit much. Can’t fault the quality and ethics though, so it’s worth it for a treat and they’re always busy.
F. F.
Been here many times, today went for breakfast with my wife on our anniversary. Ordered using the App at the table, App simple to use and the drinks and food arrived quickly, nice and hot.
Fresh food cooked to order and great coffee too. I recommend the West Country Breakfast! Good choice of healthy, vegetarian and vegan options. Also they have a good range of smoothies and cakes!
Dog friendly. Recommended.
Brilliant!
E. S.
It's our local place to brunch and I love it! It often gets busy at the weekends so we tend to go on a day off or if no queues out the door but the food is always worth waiting for. The chai lattes are incredible!
J. C.
The Boston Tea Party completely exceed our expectations. We attended as a party of 5 after a weekend stag do before we set off on our journeys home; suffice to say we were all a bit tired and a bit worse for wear. The level of service, quality of food and drink and comfortable environment were absolutely fantastic. I can't recommend the eggs royalle enough, they're the best I've had anywhere. The pancakes with syrup and bacon were also delicious.
I can't recommend this place enough.
E. I.
Had a quiet cosy breakfast this morning. Staff was friendly, food and coffee fresh. Love the ambience! Spacious and stylish decor. Will be back.
A. J.
The eggs royale and sweet corn hash are my go two breakfasts here! Tried the iced mocha for the first time and was incredibly pleased :) highly recommend!
C. W.
Ordered three breakfast muffins (total about £25 inc delivery). It was a lot flatter and less appealing than the photo and only had one hash brown whereas the picture looks like two. Don’t think there was any mustard and the egg was over cooked for my taste with the muffin weirdly chewy. Wouldn’t bother ordered here again, at the price. When you sit in the restaurant, have never had these issues, perhaps it’s just that the food doesn’t travel well and delivery isn’t their strength.
T.
Great family friendly place in a quiet residential area. Wide floor plan with lots of different seating options available. Kind and helpful staff. Can order from your seat so convenient for families with kids. Changing room and high chair available.
R. C.
Always a lovely and friendly atmosphere. Great food and yummy cakes. Thanks for always sorting out my caffeine needs and for your sustainable ethos! Great selection of amazing teas and very friendly customer service. Always recommend and visit here!
H. P.
Really enjoyed our breakfast. Good service. Child and dog friendly.
F. “.
Been here a few times, the coffee is always fresh and the Eggs Benedict are a personal favourite here 😁
A. H.
You can't go wrong with a visit to BTP. Good range of food options, fun atmosphere and option of easy ordering via QR code system. Expect to wait for food during peak times. Particular favourites include pancakes, sweetcorn hash and peach melba smoothie. Dogs welcome and some outdoor seating available too.
P. M.
I went to Boston Tea Party for the first time this Sunday and I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was so cosy and inviting, and the staff was super friendly! I ordered a green tea and was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back soon!
S. B.
I ate here and then had to get a 2nd lunch as the meal was pretty small. Loved the halfed falafel to make the dish look bigger. Very clever, I laughed and then cried.
M. T.
Great food, very tasty. Service was quite slow and a little muddled but staff very nice. Very difficult to park though.
B. A.
Cosy atmosphere and child and dog friendly. Overall good sofa chairs to enjoy afternoon tea. The best cake is ambassador in great demand be quick to have your bite yummy and tasty. Go on and treat yourself.
B. L.
I love BTP but this branch isn’t quite as good as the others in Bristol.
This week I’ve had a stale inedible cake and this morning burnt food and burnt ashes through my eggs, that’s not pepper.
A real shame.
P.
Amazing staff and really nice food. But quite expensive. Most of the best tables are taken up with single people on tables for 4 using the free open WiFi for hours at a time. They allow pets which is good or bad depending on your preference or allergies.
Y. G.
Pre day out brunch with friends and I love that they cater for a gluten free diet. The pancakes were amazing and service was good. It's now a regular haunt if I'm in the vicinity but sometimes tricky to park as it's in the middle of a busy housing estate where the MOD staff nearby use the estate to park.
P.
Great coffee and service.
Lovely atmosphere.
And dogs are welcome too!
T. B.
Ordered via the QR code. Quick and simple. Speedy service and the poached eggs were great
T. S.
Strong contender for best Full English I've ever had! Everything had so much flavour. Lovely atmosphere and staff and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!
N. B.
Great café, really lovely staff. Great place to while away some time
U. A.
Very nice ambiance, however it is very short staffed hence the tables are left dirty until you ask for them to be cleaned up. Hot choclate and variety of cakes are lovely.
B. S.
Would like to give more stars as staff were really friendly. But my hot chocolate was cold on the first attempt but not even hot on second attempt after heating it up
K. W.
One of the best breakfasts I've ever had!! Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful food and it's dog and child friendly. One of my favourite places!
J. F.
Really nice American diner experience. Lots of Breakfast options, but sadly closes too early for Dinner.
P. R.
Eggs Benedict were awesome, at £10 not the cheapest. But service and quality of food were excellent.
R. B.
Excellent place, certainly one of the better local coffee shops & focus on fair trade/eco friendly products etc the food isnt paticularly cheap but its certainly better quality than anything you would pick up at other larger more established coffee shops.
S. D.
Really nice place for breakfast or brunch. They have good menu choices and the food quality is awesome. The service time can be a bit drag at busy times but once the food arrives it is all good.
T. P.
Lovely staff, food and drinks were quickly served and delicious.
A. B.
Excellent food, lovely surroundings, great service, particularly great The Boss breakfast and Chocolate Brownie
L. S.
As always the food was great, but twice recently I have been there and they really don't have enough high chairs. The last time I had to wait awhile to get one, but on this visit we didn't get one at all so had to feed our son in his push chair. Not ideal
S. B.
Good, lively, place for a weekend brunch date.
Good customer service, and food was plentiful and tasty.
What brunch is all about really.
J.
Very relaxing and calm place to come for a tasty breakfast/brunch
K. L.
Glad we stopped off here. Had to wait 5/10 mins for a table, staff were friendly and informative. Generous portions. Nice coffee. Will definitely return.
T. J.
I highly recommend ice coffe with avocado and maple syrup sooooo yommmi.. Plus very lovely staff they need a raise ❤️🙏
A. B.
A lovely atmosphere, a great range of food and most importantly an excellent breakfast!
S. P.
Awww we loved it,so friendly staff and amazing food...
A. P.
Amazing food, amazing drink and a very fun atmosphere. More places need to be dog friendly
C. W.
Nice coffee but very slow service, thought it was a bit expensive.
J. S.
Good food. Friendly staff. Good prices.
F. P.
Large open dinning space with bench seating and more individual spaces. It is VERY dog friendly, great for canine fans, not so good for anyone else (including me). The meet and greet staff were great, the servers not so much so. A touch monosyllabic and not overly enthusiastic. The ordering system (via app, as is the norm nowadays) was quick and easy. We called at brunch time so we all had breakfast dishes. Mine was avacado, sweetcorn fritters and a poached egg was lovely. Tea also good.
T. J.
This place definitely deserves 10 stars not only 5... Food I tried is very delicious, hardworking staff always go over and beyond with smile that make place homey and cosey.. absolutely loveee this place and coffee is so nice
D. c.
The freshly prepared food is delicious. I'm working my way through the cakes and haven't found one I dont like yet. They go down really well with their coffee. Can't wait to see you open fully again but meanwhile I'm enjoying the click and collect service with a smile.
K. L.
Beautiful place, tasty dishes. The stuff is usually very friendly and helpful. It offers the basic brunch dishes along with a variety of milkshakes, coffees and smoothies. They also have a bring your own cup policy to avoid takeaway cups and that's a plus. Also, the cafe is also dog friendly and every time you visit there will be cute doggos everywhere 💕.
I've been visiting for two years now and I could say there's a lot of improvement since when I started going, in the general atmosphere of the cafe.
Keep it up!
G. W.
Not bad, popped in for a coffee on a wet Sunday but so did everybody else 🤣, food looked good clean tables and attentive staff.
M. S.
Really like this place, it's very light with the large windows, plenty of seating and the staff are friendly and smiley. The food and tea are also good 😊
A. B.
Fantastic food here. Expensive but it’s worth it for good food made with locally sourced ingredients. The coffee is good and have a wide selection of cakes. You need your own cup if you are taking away as they don’t supply takeaway cups because they are very recycling friendly. Not much parking nearby. You see a lot of cars parking in the loading area for co op round the back with parking tickets so don’t park there. After all it is a loading area and not a car park. 2hrs free parking at the front of co op but limited spaces. Dog friendly inside.
A. S.
Good tasting coffee and cake, staff were very good
Didn't have a cooked meal, so I don't know about food
D. S.
Nice, light, large space. Great food and friendly service. Near the University which is why we went. In a strange modern suburb but was busy enough. Food took a while to appear but was worth the wait.
H. D.
Food good and arrived promptly. Friendly atmosphere and staff.
L. L.
Lovely spacious and friendly cafe! Equally perfect for a solo coffee or a brunch with friends and very child/baby friendly
C. A.
Excellent eggs benedic....but we stood and waited no- one seated us....we had to place order on line and the 1 thing we wanted macaroni cheese wasn't available.Few tweeks and it would have been a 5
B. H. D.
The breakfast selection was great. They also have a variety of juices that most would find appealing. Very busy, even on a Sunday. The location is a fantastic place for people to meet. It feels very ‘local’ with and industrial touch.
M.
Consistently great food, coffee and service
B. L.
Great place for chilling out with family or friends and enjoying a lovely brunch, lunch or tea and cake. The team are friendly, service is very good, speed is good as well. I particularly like the croques Monsieur and lemon cheesecake. Dog friendly, child friendly, student friendly (not in priority order). Reasonable prices, great coffee, top food, top cakes, what more do you need?
J. B.
Food was very nice and staff very friendly it was a nice treat great place spend time with family
A. F.
Very large branch of the chain with plenty of places to sit including comfy sofas. Coffee is very good and there's a good selection of cakes on offer too. They also have a lunch and breakfast menu. Open fairly late and dogs are allowed in!
M. J.
Decent enough food and coffee, but the music was far too 'clubby' for a cuffs place. The ambience was also a bit like a big open barn. Probably won't go again as it's too out of our way to warrant it, but it's fine if you're I the area and want breakfast
T. R.
Lovely choice of good food for all dietary requirements. Friendly staff & yummy coffee. Loads of seating in comfy surroundings; half the walls are windows which helps it feel light, open & airy. If you want to be a bit more cosy booth seating feels more private.
Easily walkable/bikeable from Lockleaze & Abbey Wood on a sunny day.
j. p.
Amazing breakfast, best hash browns I've ever tasted. Scrambled egg was pan made not microwave. A*****
C. P.
Great for breakfast, love the Eggs Benedict here and the filter coffee is fantastic, they do not offer paper cups to take away but personally I think this is fine as reusable cups should be what people are using now you can get decently portable ones.
Lovely coffee and lovely atmosphere - have a cake too 🍰
S. B.
For full transparency I previously worked for Boston Tea Party, but having seen them all bar one this is certainly amongst the best within BTP. The cafe is beautifully designed with the customer's needs in mind, good sound proofing mean it can be bustling without seeming hectic.
The team work hard to provide really consistent, well produced food and drink, produced in a reasonable amount of time. They're a bright and engaging team who take great pride in what they do, and succeed. The coffee is very good, offering 3 different espressos and a very reliable filter coffee. The tea range, in both quality and quantity, is hard to surpass in the local are.
If I had any advice, 11am on a Saturday or Sunday can be very busy, arrive closer to ten and you'll be more assured of a good time and smug feeling of having a great table.
K. S.
16 of us came here for my sister's baby shower, my sister requested afternoon tea. The sandwiches and cakes were nice, but I did feel £15 each was expensive for what it was. It was a nice place, not overly busy and the service was quick as we had pre booked our drinks.
S. W.
Love this place! It's friendly enough to go on your own, which I never usually feel comfortable doing anywhere else! Kids and dogs are welcome too! They have free WiFi, plenty of plug sockets to charge your devices & colouring sheets and crayons for the kids too! The only downside is that the portion sizes are a bit hit and miss, one day you can go there and have a huge meal the next it can be quite small!
L. G.
I love Boston’s Tea Party but the cafes are usually far from where I live. so when Seri directed me to this hidden gem close by I was pleasantly surprise. Especially I had no idea this little area of residence even existed. Very cool and well styled with sofas and diner tables and the small details that are in the chains shabby chic style. Lovely service from staff who are so friendly and will engage in a chat. A great place to come for a high quality breakfast.
c. k.
Friendly staff, however, the long wait for an early lunch was horrendous, waited for about 45 minutes for food, burger was nice, however, iced coffee was way to bitter, even if he said 'syrup' was included. I had to add a ton load of sugar to balance the taste out. Cute place, slightly expensive too.
K. C.
Great food every time, with different things on the menu that keep it interesting. I had the brown rice porridge with blueberries and mango this time. It was delicious.
I also think that BTP's policy on not using single use (disposable) cups is admirable, which is one of the many reasons I keep going back.
G. M.
Only went to meet up with work for a cuppa, had a diet coke (little glass bottle) which cost £2.85!...... Felt safe, covid rules being adhered to, ordered on the app and delivered very quickly to the table, polite staff!
C. N.
Never been in a Boston tea party before as ALWAYS use other large named shops.. but. I have to say.. the ladies working here were so wonderful and helpful.. the specialist coffee was fantastic and I’m soooo happy to see a normal down to earth place where they accept kids and DOGS!! It was amazing to see.. didn’t even smell of dog.. what a welcoming place.. highly recommend!!
A. J.
Not your usual coffee shop, this is a large site with comfy sofas around the outside, lots of canteen style tables to sit at and a huge long table which is perfect for large groups. You find a table, order and pay at the till, then they deliver your order when it's ready. Minus point for me, and given they say they make everything they sell in this cafe I'm being a bit unfair, was that not everything on the menu was available. I wanted a Vietnamese roll but they were sold out. I am going back though - the filter coffee was outstanding!
D. M.
Great brunch spot - super cool decor, great food, coffee and cakes. The QR code menu and ordering system couldn't have been easier, a thoroughly pleasant way to spend an hour!
r.
Very slow moving place where staff really don't care my tea was served in a dirty cup the breakfast I waited 40 mins for was cold food on a hot plate. Don't bother they don't
E. M.
This new cafe was ideal for bringing my small baby. Plenty of space for pushchairs. Lovely cafe with wide windows for vast views of local area. Outside terrace seating available as well. Lovely décor, well finished and a great menu, especially for brunch or cake.
C. G.
Very nice addition to the scene, with vibrant décor and friendly swift service from the staff. We were initially wary that we only had an hour at our table, but all drinks and food came out at a rate of knots and certainly kept our group busy!
P. R.
This is a non functional establishment they have all the ingredients for success but can't seem to follow the recipe right .....dirty crockery and cutlery very slow service and after a long long wait food was cold it's almost funny if you have the time they couldn't get it more wrong and nobody seems to care...... avoid
k. b.
It’s fair to say this btp is popular probably with local professionals and uwe Students with deep pockets. Pricey drinks and food. The Staff for the most part are friendly and attentive. They are spot on with the cleaning and clearing of tables. It’s a short stop from my house to btp so it’s convenient and relatively pleasant place to have a drink.
T. S.
Nice cafe that acts as a social hub for Chiswick, as its much larger than any of the other BTPs I've been too. The menu is the same as the chain generally - simple food with good ingredients.
K. N.
Child and dog friendly cafe, who give consideration to environmental sustainabilty. Menu is healthy and wholesome, but still filling and comforting. Often come here when visiting friends nearby, service is quick and friendly, and food is better than most cafés.
J. C.
A little expensive and service was a little slow, but the staff were lovely and the food was fantastic. Really enjoyed eating here and the portions were fab. Kids food was great too and they appeared to be dog friendly, for those that like to bring their pets along. All in all, a lovely lunch venue.
J. W.
Food was just fantastic! The mesi & egg was sooo nice, with extra halloumi and egg! And the home made lemonade - just wow!!
P. M.
Does what it says on the tin reasonable coffee, nice breakfast pancakes and a good selection of cakes. Bit on the pricey side and never has much of an atmosphere about it. Friendly helpful staff though!
D. P.
Great food, very friendly staff
N. W.
Great food, great staff, great cakes! Kitchen is over run at weekend, expect to wait 40+ mins min, usually over an hour and even drinks take an age. Wifi bit temperamental and O2 coverage in store is poor.
C. B.
First visit and it will not be my last. Very friendly staff ☺️ lovely carrot cake and cuppa. Great atmosphere. Super covid secure 👍Even though I live on the other side of Bristol I will return.
H. F.
My Sister and I came for the first time today after a friend recommended it to us! It was absolutely AMAZING! One of the best breakfasts we've both had!
B. J.
Banana and peanut butter shake was banging and much needed after a long walk he had the salted caramel and brownie
M.
Locketed in a new house state in the north area of Bristol, the place offers different types of seating areas and good natural light through out. Nice floor space to move around with push chairs and wheel chairs. Small cubicles area provides a bit of privacy if you want to use your laptops or have small informal meetings. Variety of choices on the menu (children one available too) and lovely fresh cakes to try. Just don't go there if you have only 1h lunch or less, as service can be a bit slow and you end up swallowing your food instead of enjoying it. If table hygiene is your thing and you can't stand a crumbly floor or sofa, you have three options: complain about it, tell others about it or find another café.
G. C.
The place itself is spacious, light and comfortable. The food was great and not too expensive either. We visited for a weekday lunch, so I don't know what it's like when very busy, but highly recommended based on our visit.
L. H.
I love love it here. Great looking establishment, delicious coffee and food. Sweetcorn hashbrown is unbelievably good. Staff are great too. It runs very smoothly. I spend hours on end here working and never yet bored of it.
K. C.
I went to the Boston Tea Party with hubby and 32 Yr old daughter and found the place very welcoming, service was quick and also very clean. Will visit again and have a meal.
S. J.
First visit today, lovely, friendly atmosphere, with great service and food, so easy to order from phone online whilst in there.
Will definitely be returning soon.
Thank you to all staff.
M. M.
I usually love BTP, but we were a bit disappointed on this visit. It's a great restaurant with big tables for big groups (there were 10 of us). But it was 11am on a Saturday and they didn't have 2 of the veggie menu items (sweetcorn hash and cornbread). It was really annoying setting your heart on something, then being told they don't have it, so changing your order, and being told they don't have that either. Also we found ham in a vegetarian toastie - which was immediately apologised for and prepared again.
D. S.
Lovely friendly café. Delicious food and friendly staff. Had lunch here with my work mates the other week. We're definitely going to be making it a regular thing!
T. O.
Fantastic place to walk to with the dog. As its one of the few really dog friendly cafes in Bristol where I can take the dog and kids inside instead of sitting in the cold outside. Menu is a bit limited if you have fussy eaters but it makes good use of local ingredients. There is actually filter coffee available instead of having to have an abomination that is an Americano.
J. W.
I always go in here with my daughter when I come to visit her in Bristol. Lovely friendly staff and food is always good. Nicely spaced out inside & out following Covid guidelines. 🙂
H. L.
We absolutely love this place, we come here every week for food and have tried quite a selection of dishes, drinks and cake and have loved every single one. All of the staff are fantastic and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and we love the decor. Basically, we love it.
A. S.
Staff are lovely and the premises and layout is nice. Weekends are super busy and you end up waiting up to 45 mins for food. It's always the same so you'd think they'd adjust for this. Full English is nice enough but an absolute rip off for what you get!
S. “. O.
If you'd like to experience something new, you'd probably find something at BTP. I'd personally never had chocolate tea but had a lovely experience trying it here. The four stars are due to price Vs experience. I didn't feel I had that five star experience due to the food being nice but nothing out of what I'd expect for what I paid.
O. P.
All was good but most of the seats were not clean : messy and dog hair etc.
B. L.
Lovely airy restaurant with fantastic service and great food, everything was served quickly and was hot and delicious. Also plenty of outside seating
m.
Good cafe and not too busy on a Saturday lunchtime. Lovely smoothie and good 'West Country' cooked breakfast... nice food except the scrambled egg which was cold.
C. P.
Nice atmosphere and very good food at a fair price. Been there for breakfast and coffee and both are very good. A few very tasty vegetarian and vegan options which make quite a difference. Very good coffee too.
R. O.
Really fits the bill. Easy parking good food and good decor. Had veggie breakfast which was fab. Open all day, plenty of seating but can get busy.
N. C.
Having never been here before, it is a lovely place. Staff are friendly and polite. Food is pricey so didn't indulge but there is plenty to choose from. Parking is limited but you do get 2 hours in the side streets.
G. M.
Great venue for tea/coffee and/or light lunch.
Bonus is you can sit outside and plenty of spaces for bikes!
J. S.
It's nice. Foods good, drinks are good. Its quite pricy and it's a qr code based ordering system currently.
C. I.
Nice drinks (hot and cold) and friendly staff. Nice venue (large with lots of light) but food not so great. Burger undercooked and cake very dry.
I. V.
The gluten free version of The Boss breakfast was delicious! Just had to swap the sausage for extra hog's pudding, no hardship there then ;-) Many thanks to all the friendly helpful and knowledge staff xx
D. A.
Lovely food and drink. Staff are usually really nice, helpful and friendly, too. Tables sometimes get a bit grubby when it's busy, but that's outweighed by the food and service for me...
J. D.
Great service as usual. Shame the outside seating wasn't there on such a nice day.
M. C.
Great place to take a puppy to socialise as dogs are very welcome and there are sofas and quiet areas to sit with them . Coffee is good, cakes, biscuits and meals are on the pricey side but tasty.
J. C.
Friendly Venue with great food and staff.
The food is more expensive than other places but the quality of the food more than makes this worth it.
Staff are always really friendly and the venue is open to pets & children as appropriate oh and there is free WiFi .
K. S.
We their with my daughter. First vist.staff very good food ok.but a bit price.would go again.
w. w.
Lovely place for nice lunch or coffee with friends. Very nice service and delicious meal. You can find there veggie or fit options as well. Well designed interior and many seats.
B. B.
Went today for brunch with my sister and her fiance. Had a breakfast called The Boss! I absolutely loved it. The coffee was great as well. Fantastic service x
C. W.
Great place. Casual, friendly but really good. Love the sand 'egg' timer which tells you when your tea is brewed! Great coffee too.
M.
Fantastic menu unusual but delicious food. I had a sweetcorn hash with avocado boiled eggs and viniger and maple sauce 😋mmm.
l.
A nice large open space with with both tables & chairs and sofas.
Have only been on a weekday where service has always been friendly and quick. A good selection of cakes.
R. M.
Mugs were dirty with tea still in it, no butter given for toast. Vegi breakfast was good but the price was to high to sit in what felt like an Asda cafe. Not a cosy place to eat.
I would eat the breakfast again, just not here. I would rather drive the extra mileage to Bristol City Centre. The issue is there are far cheaper and better breakfasts to eat there.
O. C.
A really nice place. Lovely food and drink. Very pleasant and helpful staff. This place is dog friendly, which personally I don't like and that spoilt it for me.
J. B.
Really good selection of everything here! Great food, great cakes and great coffee. The location is big and spacious but still feels comfy!
J. E.
Vegan and gluten free options available and served by helpful and friendly staff.
There is more seating upstairs where it is a little more cosy and comfortable. Great breakfast spot!
R. C.
Lovely, bright & large restaurant. Dog friendly, pleasant staff and fantastic food - what more could you ask for? Bit of a weird location but one of the best BTP's I've been to.
P. W.
Great BTP in the heart of this housing estate. Online ordering at the tables makes everything really convenient as well as covid-sensible. We love this place!
M. W.
Although nicely cooked and presented they have taken to serving their eggs Benedict on sourdough toast rather than English muffins! That's not eggs Benedict. I suspect it's a cost saving decision. Very disappointing.
R. B.
Plenty of vegan options, great service and reasonable prices 👍🏻
J. B.
Another awesome brunch at BTP. Was by far the busiest I've seen it which made for a bit of a wait on food but staff were all working tirelessly. I just live that pooch can join us for breakfast! Recommend the Sourdough eggy bread, just can't get enough!
P. A.
Ideal for visitors to UWE. Food perfectly cooked, tasty and filling - try the fries, plentiful and just the right amount of crunch. Welcoming relaxed open atmosphere and worth the effort to find in amongst the houses.
R. C.
Be prepared to wait! Arrived 9:20am and served breakfast at 10am, just after receiving our drinks. Food was adequate rather than exceptional, incredibly salty Hash Browns!
A. D.
Quick and friendly staff. Really high quality food at a good price (and volume!). A must for anyone near the abbey wood area.
T. J.
Okay. Quite expensive for basic food items and not really worth it. A long wait for food although staff were very friendly and it was nice to see their takeaway cup policy
J. l.
Excellent experience! Attentive friendly service from Millie and the team, delicious food, lovely atmosphere. ✨
P. H.
Nice enough. The coffee is fine, not amazing and I find the food a little pretentious, but I have very simple tastes so maybe I'm unusual in that.
J. W.
Great food, although a bit over priced. The atmosphere is really good, very laid back and casual. Can get very busy on weekends.
C. t.
Waited 15 mins to order three coffees. Only one person on the till despite it being Saturday brunch going into lunch. 30 minutes wait for food despite there being lots of seats available.
M. M.
Food was nice but pricey for what it was. Had an issue with the cleanliness of the plates.Mentioned it to a member staff who said that it's not the first time as the dishwasher does'nt work that well.
R. B.
Great coffee, not sure why but we waited a long time for food, complimentary drinks were provided to compensate.
T. M.
Amazing community oriented eatery, only stopped by for coffee and cake with my wife, was very impressed with the set up and the friendly atmosphere and the complete set up, the menu is very clear and caters for most people! 😀
K. B.
Great food, great service
A. F.
Huge place. Even though the place was super busy, our food has been served pretty quickly. Amazing breakfast!
R. K.
Very busy and sociable place, Food was good although we waited a hour for it to come. Also the the hygiene there is awfull as there are dogs allowed in and the place smelled so bad of dogs witch put me off my food.
P. B.
Great food excellent service.
E. E.
Absolutely delicious food, helpful and friendly staff and at the moment really safe feel to the social distancing elements. Would recommend.
R. R.
Love the food and drinks. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is really relaxed. Mixture of people from work, new mum's and people with pets.
R. B.
Very spacious and staff respectful of social distancing. My only criticism was that because of hard flooring it can be a really loud building when busy.
M. M.
Really good location and nice layout, mix of tables and sofas and all clean. Not cheap though and really slow service on a number of occasions. Staff are friendly though, just seem to need more of them
N. S.
Relatively slow service considering the number of people in the cafe. Nice and large open space for the children to play and get large groups together.
N. W.
This is rather different, a compact menu with limited but nicely chosen choices. A novel location, during nice weather it's a fabulous place to eat outside.
r. a.
I really like Boston. It has a good atmosphere, happy staff and a good selection of things to choose from
O. P.
Lovely light cafe space with loads of windows. Friendly staff and good food. A great place to meet for a chat or a meal.
B. S.
Fantastic space and the food is great. Service can be a little over the top for a cafe but seems to work well.
A. T.
A very good coffee shop. Staff's enthusiasm to provide good customer service is undermined by lack of accurate communication, further undermined by harder staff attitudes - and excessive prices.
J. M.
Nice atmosphere, food and coffee, good vegan options, a little bit pricey and service can take longer than other places
A. G.
Nice food and fantastic new ordering system, from your table via mobile phone, to accommodate COVID19 requirements. Food very expensive though.
M. C.
Nice, airy interior, well ventilated.
Order was served quickly.
J. F.
THE LOVELY THING ABOUT THE BOSTON TEA PARTY IS THAT, APART FROM THE FOOD OF COURSE, THE STAFF ARE USUALLY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. I ACTUALLY LEFT A SCARF THERE ON ONE OCCASION AND THEY EMAILED TO SAY THEY HAD PUT IT SAFELY IN THE OFFICE. HOW KIND WAS THAT.
THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD IS FRESHLY SOURCED AND IT IS A PLEASURE TO GO THERE. THE FACT THAT IT IS A DOG FRIENDLY CAFE IS A PLUS AND AT THE WEEKENDS THERE ARE MANY FURBABIES IN ATTENDANCE WITH THEIR FAMILIES.
A. T.
Very good, ethical food, if a little pricey. Staff are friendly and attentive. Although this is a "tea shop" the coffee is excellent.
B. C.
Found this place on Google maps and it was well worth the short drive. Had a fantastic eggs Benedict and a decent cafe au lait. Not cheap but I do feel the price is justified in the quality.
C. W.
Good food. Great atmosphere.
H. W.
Had no idea this was here until Google Maps gave me directions for the nearest coffee shop. If you've been to a Boston Tea Party you'll know what to expect — a spacious, quirky environment with friendly staff serving good quality coffee and food.
r. F.
Super Staff....Coffee and Food. Cakes still uncovered in front of Till area......Not just Customers Coughing all Over The Lovely Looking Scones but on last Visit my Husband Pointed Out ........A Long Dark HAIR !!!!!!

R. B.

V. D.
Spacious and comfortable well-lit cafe, perfect for working as for chilling. Food and drinks are very good - however pricey - as usual BTP standards.
S. C.
Great food, lovely quick service and especially as we were in a big group of 20+. Would recommend highly.
J. M.
The Arnolfini is the equivalent of the Baltic in Newcastle and the Tate Modern in London. Located in an old warehouse on the floating harbour, this lofty building is the perfect venue for visiting exhibitions, dance performances and educational events alike
D. W.
Great brunch selection. Sweetcorn hash was particularly good. Staff were friendly and service quick.
S. B.
Great staff, dog friendly, amazing smoothies, what more could you want?
N. E.
Amazing and friendly service (Millie was wonderful!) and delicious food. Thank you!

Nice space with good drinks, very nice cakes and questionable lunch food. It's rather annoying that the huge space has nothing for kids.
