Reviews of Little Victories
H. F.
With the blue and white matching interior design, also the high ceiling, it just feel like good weather there all time! I tired flat white. The coffee was nice to have, the aftertaste stayed for awhile and a little choco flavour. Definitely going to try their pastries here next time!
L. M.
A small cafe but with great ambience inside. The coffee’s good and the staff are excellent. Their chocolate millionaire shortbread is very addictive!
S. “. R. R.
Hot chocolate and cakes for everyone to enjoy:-) including the best banana bread! Service is always good. Staff are friendly, Coffee is excellent. Tables to sit in or out, always enjoy a visit.
Μ. S.
Good coffee and excellent service. Located in wapping wharf. Nice to sit outside and watch the people go by.
J. H.
Very good coffee with lots of flavour. Dogs are welcome. Great bacon sandwiches too 😋.
P. G.
Nice place for coffee/breakfast. Situated in a quiet neighborhood which is perfect for strolling, this café serves proper coffee & very tasty toasts. They have seating spaces both inside, and outside.
G. G.
Always such a good vibe in here. Their toasted banana bread is a winner
T. T.
Best flat white in Bristol.
The milk texture was perfect and last latte art beautiful.
C. S.
Good coffee, fast me friendly service. Located in hip whapping wharf. Not that many seats be not the most comfortable but the ambience of cafe makes up for that!
G. C.
Always has excellent pastry treats and hot chocolate.
J. H.
Very good coffee with lots of flavour. Dogs are welcome. Great bacon sandwiches too 😋.
A. H.
Vibrant coffee shop/ cafe. Great cakes.
J. R.
Fantastic coffee with a few basic pastries. Great for a takeaway drink. Avoid the queues at peak times (weekend late morning/lunch) if you don’t like waiting..
S. P.
Came across this place after finding the place we used to go, Brunel Buttery, has changed their menu. We had a DELICIOUS toasted bacon sandwich made with lovely sourdough bread and thick tasty bacon. Nice cheery people and clean tidy seating.
B. C.
I highly recommend toastie with ham and cheddar. Lovely place.
C. S.
Good coffee, fast me friendly service. Located in hip whapping wharf. Not that many seats be not the most comfortable but the ambience of cafe makes up for that!
M. 2.
Great coffee and selection of cakes. Toasted banana bread is a must try!
R. D.
Today I happened to stop here for a quick coffee - a flat white, whilst cycling around the Harbourside.
I did comment that £2:80 for a small flat white was expensive but it was explained that their aim was quality rather than quantity.
Having drank the coffee I am now more than happy to agree, the coffee was very good indeed, one of the best I’ve ever had!
Don’t be put off by the prices, it’s the quality that counts - and is delivered 😁.
A. L.
A really good looking coffee shop. Very nice employees, yummy food and the drinks are great too. Rum Hot Chocolate is stunning and doesn't taste of rum but has an amazing kicking warmth to it.
A. U.
It's those high chairs, tall ceiling and throughout-the-day changing menu - that's the best victory you get from this cafe :)
Busy, but really cosy and welcome.
G. S. T.
Classic Bristol cafe, good coffee and good cakes at regular prices! Good place for coffee and catch up, or reading a book.
S. J.
Fantastic coffee, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Highly recommend it
S.
Delicious flat white coffee and toasted banana bread! Very reasonably priced too.
My first visit today since lockdown and I was very impressed with the safety measures they’ve set up. They’ve got a till in the front door with a protective screen and they use a tray to carry your reusable cup / order so they don’t have to touch anything and it all felt very safe.
G. C.
Always has excellent pastry treats and hot chocolate.
C. D.
Quickly becoming one of my favourite coffee places to head into. They serve great pour over filters with a choice of coffee (not as easy to find in Bristol as you'd think). A cool, modern vibe to the place but relaxed and easy to feel comfortable in.
R. M.
Outstanding coffee, I've never been let down by them and the service is very friendly. Try a filter coffee, always great. I can also recommend getting some of the house blend to take away, sadly I can't get there every morning!
A. H.
Vibrant coffee shop/ cafe. Great cakes.
A. S.
Lovely coffee, hot chocolate, banana bread etc.
Covid safe cafe, covered outdoor seating, drinks and food served through hatch, plenty of anti bac available to clean own table, hand cleaner available too. Friendly staff. Can't fault it! My favourite cafe.
R. N.
Probably the best coffee in Wapping Wharf, very friendly staff and a nice space both inside and outside. We perched on the benches and chatted and watched the world go by. Excellent coffees, brought to us rather making us stand and wait (not that I mind, it's just a nice touch!) Good selection of cakes by the look of it too...
H. C.
Good coffee, morning sunshine and a nice view. Perfect 😎 ☀️
B. C.
I highly recommend toastie with ham and cheddar. Lovely place.
J. T.
A lovely little coffee shop with great customer service. I try a hot chocolate in every coffee shop I visit with the aim of finding the hot choc and this one did not disappoint. It may not have been the best I've tried but I'd certainly go back again.
M. W.
With their sister place the pert and unpretentious Small Street Espresso these are the best cafes in Bristol. I've never had anything other than excellent coffee every time. Pastry and food selection all you'd want. Most importantly there's a warmth to the modern interior which makes it a nice place to be. Which ironically is its only problem as sometimes you can't get a seat. But you can't blame them for that!
K. L.
Very good coffee and excellent service
P. J.
Decent coffee, odd layout. Of you're of limited mobility the high benches are a challenge! Always busy whenever I've been there, a sign of a good café. Nice location on the harbour side.
T. A.
One of the best coffee in Bristol
C. W.
Excellent latte art, top local coffees on offer, great vibes and location. The current seasonal blend was nice in a flat white but I think would be too tart for me as an espresso.
E. M.
One of my favourite places in Bristol. I am always happy to return for their glorious coffee, the amazing vegan banana bread and the cosy, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended. The staff is very nice!
D. C.
This place makes incredible sandwiches and the cakes are lovely too. The coffee is also fantastic with a wide selection.
I would recommend the chicken, bacon, leek and pickle toasted sandwich if they have it!
C. W.
Fabulous coffee and amazingly moist and delicious gluten-free cakes. Serving take-away drinks etc from behind a screen so very covid-safe
E. F.
My favourite Bristol coffee shop! Awesome location, nice to sit outside and watch the world go by.
K. W.
Had sourdough toast (just right and with proper butter) and an excellent filter coffee last time I stopped by. As well as excellent coffee and cakes they also do coffee cocktails. As fan of negroni their cold-brew version is very much worth sampling.
B. G.
One of my favorite places for coffee. 100% reliable standard of coffee from espresso and milk texturing to filter coffee. Great space, lots of light and knowledgeable staff. (Also check out Small Street Espresso if in that part of town, same team!)
D. A.
Very good coffee and cakes. Also nice to see a long black on the menu so I don't have to explain what one is 😁
C. E.
John and Chris have created a fantastic little shop in the heart of Wapping Wharf. In the summer it's a great place to sit outside and drink a brilliantly made Filter or Espresso and in the winter a cosy comfortable space to drink a flat white and do some work.
Their beer and wine lists are always fantastic and their sandwiches are great value for money, the staff incredibly friendly. Will always return whenever I'm in Bristol, even if it's just for a soft drink.
M. E.
Great coffee shop. Delicious cinnamon buns and very nice coffee. Good selection of cakes and pastries and laid back feel. Will be visiting again.
E. C.
It can get busy but the coffee is fantastic and it's a really nice place to sit and spend time. The cakes can be a little dry but the toasties are lovely.
D. O.
Nice trendy coffee place with a bar as well. I'm not a fan of high stools, so for me I'd rather have had more comfortable seating, but the staff were really helpful and friendly and the cakes were nice.
H. K.
A cafe with wide choice of coffee and drinks, good food comprises of sandwiches, cakes, sour dough bread olive oil and olives.... Served with friendly smile, seating both inside and outside, a good place to meet for coffee and bit of food.
M. K.
Amazing espresso blend, thick and sweet. Their brownie rocked my world and revived me after a tough night out❤️The place is very cosy and busy😊
L. F.
Lovely quiet place in the morning for breakfast while by yourself. I love that it has the vibe of a library with people working on laptops quietly rather than loads of people chatting. Delicious pastries and coffee.
C. R.
Sister to Small St. Espresso and I didn't think coffee shops could get much better. But somehow they've done it. Atmosphere, check. Outside seating, check. Great coffee, check. Great service, check.
Nailed it.
M. P.
Beautiful and cozy place. The coffee was nice, the hot chocolate fantastic (according to my friends!) Staff were lovely and let customers stay past closing time,. (we didn't notice it was closed since no one left)
C. E. C. C.
It's a nice atmosphere to sit and have a hot drink while you do a bit of work or reading. They do not supply power for your electronic devices. The background music is relaxing. I thought the table was a bit small for me to work, but that's probably just me.
J. S.
Nice service. I am served a wrong filter in the first place and get a replacement with an even better taste. Thanks a lot.
c. M.
I went here with my girlfriend because the menu looked aesthetically pleasing from outside, like it was calling us to enter. We ordered hot chocolates since it was 'hot choco weather'. The coffee shop itself had a really wonderful aesthetic, but there were extremely tall scary chairs that made it difficult to sit down as I was afraid I would fall over and smush the people sitting behind me. When the beverages arrived, the vessel in which they were presented was a glass cup, no handle, all cup; which I believe is surprising for a hot drink as you would expect it to burn your flesh, however the drink was a reasonable temperature, enough to warm you in the cold weather and also keep your hands warm, which was very considerate. The presentation was very Instagram worthy, so credits to their hot chocolate designers. However, I have no idea what they put in that delicious cup of cocoa, but shortly after, I became an emotional wreck and burst into tears, yes, actual tears. I would like to say thank you to this coffee shop for making me cry, that's all.
K. B.
Nice airy space but still a little cramped inside with limited seating. Coffee and cakes are really good but what's with the latte in a glass? No handle when drinking a hot beverage isn't cool it's just annoying!
L. C.
Popped in after food shopping at Better Foods on Gaol Ferry Steps. It was a cold day and I was in need of a hot drink. They do an array of coffees and teas and it was tough to not be tempted by the cakes and savoury frittatas. I had a lovely camomile tea - hot delicious and healthy! #lookingaftermyinsidebeauty Thank you Little Victories xx
R. C. V.
If you're after a true coffee experience this is the place to stop by. Don't forget to check the menu, as there are both filter and espresso types. Filter one and two make a lasting impression.
A. O.
Delicious coffee and lovely staff - as well as my favourite sandwich ever: coconut marinated haloumi! Some blankets available to enjoy outside (or in!)
C. B.
Looks great, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and great location. However, when ordering an espresso, I would like to be asked whether I'd like a normal one or the 'guest blend'.
B. U.
Little victories offers a lovely space, very good coffee along with a friendly staff. However, they need to up their game in terms of wifi quality considering they are frequented by a working lot.
T. P.
One of the best coffee shop in Bristol. You can choose the coffee bean and than they brew. The staffs are very friendly.
N. V.
Lovely small cafe on Whapping wharf which offers a great range of hot and cold drinks as well as food. Seating both inside and out is comfortable and service is very quick. Can get fairly busy on saturdays and 5pm.
J. F.
Absolutly amazing coffee shop, fantastic decor/vibe/staff and most importantly maybe amazing coffee.
Also, FYI Great little area, if you’re in the neighbourhood check it out
L. H.
Best coffee in the area, and their house blend to take away is exceptional. Be sure to pick up their Xmas blend in December as it makes a great gift.
R. G. M.
It's a nice coffee shop. Not much variety. Couldn't find croissants, bagels, and sandwishes were disappointing. Coffee was ok. Service was good
j. r.
Quick and delicious coffee. Love that they have a window to order from instead of having to go inside.
A. G.
Great vegeterian jerk 'chicken' salad box. My daughter had same filling in a large (huge!) Wrap. Really tasty.
N. B.
Coffee is ordinarily exceptional.
C. F.
Great place, stylish and awesome coffee. Make top filter coffee, which is hard to find, and a nice atmosphere to do work or socialise in. Friendly staff
N. H.
This is a great little cafe. The coffee & toasted sandwiches are really good. It’s in a good location & it can get busy.
C. S.
Really fantastic coffee shop. Nice interior, amazing espresso, and great pastries. Nice people too. Go here if you're in the area!
D. B.
Really good vibe, great location, wide variety of coffee, teas and cocktails. Plus they have the cleanest unisex toilet ever in a cafe/bar!
L. H.
Beautiful place! Great atmosphere.
P. S.
Excellent coffee, real baristas who know how to handle coffee and milk. One of the best places to have consistently good quality coffee in Bristol.
J. M.
Great place to get really nice coffee. Really friendly staff. Open till 10pm some evenings. Liqueur coffee sold as well.
F. P.
Sweet & savoury treats to die for. In fact I think I have died & gone to heaven every time the billionaire shortbread has passed my lips.
The lack of mirror in the unisex toilet however is unnerving. 🤦🏽♂️
H. E. J. R.
Nice coffee and great for lunch or a snack. I recommend the banana bread. There are places to sit inside and outside. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff.
A. H.
We can’t comment exhaustively as we only went once but the coffee is spectacular. Wowzers it was good. Will return!
R. S.
My favourite coffee shop at Wapping Wharf, fabulous coffee and clever seating gives cosy atmosphere despite huge ceiling height.
H. K.
Cozy, lovely Batistas, great coffee and toasties (baked goods mostly from Hart's bakery - yum!) And good people watching inside or outside!
V. S.
Excellent little coffee / tea shop on Wapping Wharf. Definitely recommend a trip here. Didn't try the cakes but they looked delicious
K. P.
Really tasty coffee and they do a hot chocolate with rum in it. Not cheap mind and small sized cups but a nice place to visit.
L. S.
Wonderful filter coffee, great bonsoy(?) lattes etc. Great vibe and awesome location to enjoy a drink and a bite of cake or sandwich
A. r.
Good coffee, great toasties, the staff is always welcoming and the decor is pleasant.

Nice indoor and outdoor coffee shop. They make a delicious vegan chocolate and banana bread!
B. L.
Great place with good selection of coffee and cake. Opens till 9pm Wednesdays to Saturdays which is rare for a coffee house.
M. S.
This place is rare as far as I'm concerned. The 'tasting notes' for the pour over filter coffee were spot on! That speaks volumes for how good the coffee is here. 'nuff said!
M. B.
Amazing coffee, one of the best in Bristol. Can also recommend the the Rum Hot Chocolate ;)
i. x.
Went there to see some family and it had the nicest cakes and drinks. All was clean to and quiet until one of my family members started to squeak a dog toy and it was quite loud 😅
