Warm welcome. Clean tables. Varied menu. Friendly service. Food was delicious. Fish &chips- although the fish batter looked darker than we expected it tasted delicious and the portion size for the price was excellent value. Ramones breakfast - again delicious but meat could have been a little warmer. French Toast - super sweet fresh and the eggs with it were outstanding. Loved the beans were proper heinz. Floor needed a dam good sweep and mop. Short 20 min wait for food. Well worth the price. Will return.

First time back at Ramon's after recent lockdowns.....what a pleasure. Son and I visted at lunchtime on a Monday, no problem getting a table. Freshly cooked food arrived within minutes of ordering. We both are big eaters, but the "Ramon's Burger" defeated son, and I only just managed my mega breakfast. Very friendly and efficient staff, very clean, very safe. Lovely to be back. If it's fine dining you want probably best to head somewhere else, but for a proper fry-up Ramon's is definitely one of the best.

It was my daily routine to drink coffee at this cafe until classes at a nearby language school started. Up until now, I had only been to chain cafes, but once I entered, the staff was kind and the milk coffee became my favorite.

Decent prices and a good breakfast! Took us 30 minutes to find a decent breakfast that isn't avocados in Cardiff! Covid safe, large gaps between tables and santising stations on entry! Happy with our visit!

Good food plenty of it. Great friendly service. Free refill on coffee. Standard coffee that comes with meal is very nice no need to upgrade to posh coffee. Been going here for years and I love it. Only hang up is parking

Great food place with plenty of space to eat with friends and family. The variety of breakfasts on offer are enough to satisfy a regiment, and the Titan Breakfast challenge will separate the legends from the rest (I might consider trying it one day, but 1 hr to eat it all isn't for the faint-hearted) Staff are very welcoming and friendly, and the food is wonderful.

The best all day breakfast I've had from a cafe in a long time and the best I had in the local area. The Man vs. Food challenge looks like madness, something like 8 eggs, 8 sausages, a few pancakes, plus all the bacon, bread and toast etc....glad I gave that one a miss not sure I would have survived!

I can say this one was the best amongst the others by far! 😍😍 not only the food but the owners are making your experience even better, it’s run by a couple and they do their best and make sure you enjoy your food 😊 definitely recommended! Simply the best Café in Cardiff have been going there since I moved here with my girlfriend. Great service great staff. Recently had a refurbishment giving it that extra bit of sparkle. Great breakfast as always but the sudden price hike is a bit much. Been dining at Ramons for many years. They always were the best breakfast in town and still are. My only gripe is that recently they have increased they're prices to much. One of the reasons I dined here was, apart from the great grub, they were the best priced in town. Now I'm starting to look elsewhere because to raise the price on a £4.95 breakfast by a pound to £5.95 in one go is a bit much. It has tainted my taste for Ramons I'm afraid.

I having been enjoying breakfast 🥣 here for over two months now, and guess what? I'm still enjoying my breakfast 🥣 at Rsmons. I like the coffee so much, no complicated fantastic names, just plain old good coffee ☕. Just to let you know it's a working man's café, so the atmosphere is always good.

Ramons is THE place to head to after a big session the previous night. A variety of sizes of hangover cures are available at super reasonable prices, the tea comes in mugs (proper that) and the staff are great. Top quality nosh includes the usual menu items plus fried bread and black pudding so not sure your hipster vegan buddy is gonna want to come here (and maybe that's just another reason to head over) Parking can be a nightmare but you probably shouldn't be driving anyway so walk over, the air will do you good.

Best prices ever, have never spent more than £15 in the for two people with loads of drinks and full plates of food! Lovely food, nice cosy atmosphere, lovely for a couple on a Sunday afternoon as they do all day breakfast as well. Staff are always so considerate and helpful, can't go wrong! Never easy finding an early morning breakfast on a Sunday, but Ramon's was the answer to my prayer 😀. Comfortable surroundings, welcoming and friendly staff and great selection on the menu. I had the £5 "full English" and was more than satisfied.

Great place to go for brekkie. Although their menu is extensive, I've only ever gone here for brekkie. Regardless of the time. Nice size portions. Great tasting food and great service. Had a revamp recently of the menu so worth going to check out their new items. Also they do a man vs food brekkie challenge. Can't remember exactly what's on the challenge but I know it would be take me like 5 days to eat all that.

It used to be a traditional caff, it's been modernised and doesn't know quite where it sits. There's an air of efficiency which made me feel slightly uncomfortable. There was a notice you have to eat your meal in an hour!! (1984)The food was traditional caff but a bit more expensive than other caffs in the area. I won't be going there a again out of choice except for convenience.

Been coming here for over fifteen years. It's slightly posher than it used to be but the food remains the same as it ever was; exactly what it should be at prices anyone can afford. Fry-ups, omlettes, burgers, baguettes and daily cooked dinner specials for under a fiver with a brew and arctic roll for pud. Good stuff.

It's been 20 years since I first graced Ramon's as a student but by the love of all that is good it is the greasy spoon I still dream of two decades later. The blackboard once said of the Gut Buster, 'we dare you?'. Well do you Ramon's? Do you? 10/10 . Nothing compares 2 U.

Good tasting food at an affordable price, but service needs an overhaul. Of 6 orders, 2 were missing items and 1 was given to another table and we had to prompt staff to have it delivered. A simple table number system would drastically improve the existing ticket method, as ticket numbers weren't being used that much by the waitresses under a high demand.

I have eaten here since 1998, The cafe has changed over that time in it's appearance, and now looks modern and staff welcoming but one thing that has not changed is that it always has and continues to provide Good Breakfasts and challenges. 4 on the FSA ratings, Will definitely continue to visit in the future!
