Overall 7/10 Vibe 8/10 Coffee 7/10 Value 5/10 Service 7/10 Lovely outdoor space on the rooftop, inside seems great for working from. Coffee was decent, wouldn't mind having it again. Staff are friendly. A bit expensive at £8.50 for 2 coffees, even though they were not the standard beans and we had oat milk.

Really refreshing location! We’ve been here for celebrating 🥳 my husband and gather with friends. People are enjoying here as it’s friendly atmosphere mainly young people studying and chill out. Plenty of options not just coffee but surprisingly beers or beverages. We haven’t ordered food but sweet lovely cakes 🥰! I posted pictures! Must test the other things too! Professional personnel and good prices for value. Amazing view! The terrace looks lovely! I love the natural flowers all over the place! That’s changed the whole sharp lines of new modern furniture! Congratulations we must comeback in the summer!

Definitely worth a visit. One of the best coffee houses in South Wales & especially Cardiff . However you like your coffee they have it covered - brewed in many methods for your perfect cup. Nice setting, great staff and awesome coffees, and can’t forget delicious cakes ☺️

Great coffee and cakes. Interesting way of serving sandwitches/toasties. I didn't love how greasy it was but I ordered something with cheese should have expected grease :) overall experience very positive, the place is beautiful. We were asked to sit on a small table, understandable because there was only 2 of us and it was a busy Sunday. Staff was friendly and professional. Prices are slightly higher comparing to other, similar places.

The cold brew lemonade is a game changer. Flat white was a nice coffee too. Would of been nice to have had a selection of cake or snacks. None were on offer as it was the day before the delivery.

Great Turkish coffee, new interior but is more style than substance. It's a welcome addition to the area if you just want a drink. Food menu consists of cakes and biscuits only, nice to try once

I love this place. Brilliant coffee, 100% the best I’ve had in Cardiff. Lovely staff. The only feedback I wanted to post is that I always feel it is such a gamble as to whether when I walk in I will be staying. Due to the student area I feel there are big demands for people to be able to take seats that enable them to do work and there aren’t that many in Rhostio. There are some workable tables and a counter but a lot of the seats are not designed for being able to study and it’s pure luck whether a table or counter space will be free when you walk in. This has led to me walking in and out disappointed that I am unable to stay at various times. I love the coffee and vibe so hate not being able to do my work there. Other than that I rate it very highly.

This place is becoming my new favourite haunt! Great, smart yet relaxed atmosphere with great coffee selections and friendly staff. A lovely way to spend time catching up with friends or ticking off items on a daily to-do laptop list. Hope to see it as a permanent fixture of Cardiff. Would definitely recommend! :)

I always come here to get my work done, and usually order a pot of Earl grey tea and a cake. Their tea is delicious, the staff are very friendly and it's in a very good location in my opinion. I'd recommend anyone wanting to socialise or study to come this coffee place!

Nice coffee, friendly staff. Might have given it a 5 except that to use their WiFi you have to tick a box to show you agree with their terms and conditions. But their terms and conditions are not there so you have to tick the box to log on anyway. Other cafes in Cardiff where you see T&Cs tend to make you agree to the cafe owner being able to view every search and site you do. They should take customer privacy more seriously.

Good looking place and definately quirky. Main downside for me is going with coffee drinking friend there weren't any non coffee alternatives which was a bit of a let down. Also took about 20 minutes to get a cappuccino and hot chocolate so service speed could be a bit better.

I know it sounds silly, but listening skills are vital when it comes to taking orders. I asked for a white americano, and then returned to the table as black as freshly placed tarmac. They did give milk when I said you forgot something, but seeing the staff roll the eyes kind of done me in a bit. The layout of the place is lovely though, I must have to admit.

i've walked past so many times so was really excited to finally try it out, the interior is really well designed mixing an industrial style with lots of plants and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. the service was lovely and the coffee was 10/10. would love the roof terrace to have more plants but i'm just a plantoholic can't wait to come back and enjoy more live events :)
