We have been intending to visit Cremaaa for months now and finally stopped by yesterday. Not disappointed, the food was tasty and excellent quality, the coffee and drinks were excellent and the staff were very friendly. Much better than the usual chains!

Cannot say anything bad about the place - warmest of welcomings, delicious food and drinks with a variety of options for all ages. If you're in Colchester you'd be foolish to pass this place up!

This place is absolutely incredible. Have been visiting on a daily basis for the last few days and such a nice place to get a bit of work done. Lots of power sockets for laptops. Really spacious and beautifully air conned, especially good in this hot weather! The baristas are super super friendly and make amazing coffee!! 100% my favourite coffee place in the area. Can’t wait to bring my husband here! :)

Absolutely amazing service & such friendly staff. The place is stunning and caters to all & is also dog friendly which is an added bonus! I decided to go for the Katsu chicken curry which was without a doubt the best I've ever had & my partner went for the meatball penne and was not disappointed either! Will be making this a regular place to stop by from now on!

Amazing service, great coffee, and dog-friendly! Barista coffee is always overpriced but I don't mind paying it here. I regularly come in for my morning coffee, with my dog in tow. Not once has the lovely lady serving given anything less than exceptionally good service. This place has regulars, which says something in a town with so many coffee places.

Decent vegan options in a good sized cafe with plenty of space. I popped in here to do some work and found the atmosphere just right (not too busy and not too quiet). And the coffee and vegan breakfast were pretty good too.

Got to give this place a shout out for trying hard to deliver a vegan breakfast with sausages and bacon and scrambled tofu. It definitely needs work (particularly the scrambled tofu) but I'd have it again how it currently is and am very grateful for the vegan breakfast option, especially as nowhere else seemed to have one! Love that it is super dog friendly too and felt I had enough space around me at the table to not have our conversation overheard by everyone else which was nice. Would recommend!

By far the best coffee in colchester. Great service and are always helpful even with a baby and a pushchair. Dog friendly, which is a bonus, too. There are plenty of seats and spaces to navigate a pram or wheelchair around chairs. I highly recommend and they are very friendly.

Busy, even at 11:15 on a weekday. The owner ( well, I presume he was the owner ) is a bit of a character, coffee was good, as were the cup sizes, so it's easy to see why they're busy.

Ironically i used to work in this unit 2 years ago. So, from our experience of coming here for a few weekends i can confirm the food and drinks are great and the staff are SO WELCOMING and happy to see you. It is actually strange because i have not once in my life been to a caff where the staff are so enthusiastic, welcoming, warming and friendly. You can have a bad day and once you visit here, you will 99.999999% prediction of leaving refreshed with a smile. Thank you guys! What a brilliant team and atmosphere.

Really great. If I could give 10 stars I would. Dog friendly which helps having a little puppy. They even got her a nice bowl of cream with a dog chew and a bowl of water. Our drinks were really nice and the menu and cakes looked amazing. Prices were reasonable. Really clean inside and the toilets were as well. Good place to just hang out. Definitely going again

Outstanding service from the front counter staff . Kind gentleman went out of his way to help me with asking questions as I am celiac and dairy allergy. The coffee is fantastic, the vegan gluten free treat was amazing . I did get gluten free toast , they do , do a vegan breakfast as well . My husband and best friend had the English breakfast . It was delicious and a lot of food for one person . From Canada and would highly recommend this place ! Clean , friendly good food .

Regular customer here and honestly cannot say how much the coffee here is amazing! Food is freshly prepared and tastes gorgeous!! Staff are very friendly and remember your order after a couple of visits making it a very homey feeling when visiting. 100% recommend if you ever need a coffee fix when popping into town :)

Amazing food and coffee. Really recommend a Piccolo, was very different and enjoyed it very much. Tables are very spaced out, visors in place for covid purposes and very vigorous cleaning in place. Staff are also very welcoming and friendly. One of the best coffee shops in town ! :)

Really like this coffee shop. Especially because it is more then large enough for prams which makes it a great place to meet up with friends with children. Although I wish they would get some more highchairs. 2 is simply not enough for a shop of this size. Food and drink is lovely and at a very good price. The reward scheme is also great and you very quickly earn rewards.

Nice and roomie... nice coffee and food at a fair price. Like the fact that it allows dogs. Low level music so you can still have a conversation. Even with buggies and wheelchairs the space between tables is good...and a clean loo!!

The sir that served us was really nice and professional, we order two caramel latte a blueberry muffin and a carrot cake, all good. The last slice was a bit crumbled so instead of saving because it couldn't be sold he just gave us an extra slice, I found it really nice gesture. Would recommend :)

It's an old shop that had big windows....and that's the atmosphere you get when you visit. It's very much a coffee shop and the coffee is good, but the food on offer is prepackaged so there's not a lot of choice and what there is, sweet. If this is a small independent, then it will struggle because there's a lot of competition around and there's nothing special here.

Coffee was really good. Bacon Brioche roll wasn't. Wet on the top and hard on the bottom. Maybe been in the wrapper and heater too long. Tables spaced out, which is good. Need to wipe the tables guys, not just clear the cups! Should be standard practice in all food and drink establishments anyway but during Covid it's an absolute must! Sorry but won't be back for that reason alone.

Always passed it on my way to Sainsbury’s but started coming in regularly only recently for two reasons. The staff and their service is excellent as should be expected but, more importantly, 222 did not treat its customers like infected zombies upon reopening after the lockdown, allowing full (but safe) shop access without any of the nonsensical rules we’ve become accustomed to during these awful past four months. Their better known chain rivals, all of whom have shops in this area of Colchester, cannot claim that and so for treating me as the responsible decision-making adult that I am, 222 now have preference over my business. Support this shop - the coffee’s good too.

My friend and I were so pleased to find this place to meet up after lockdown nice coffee tables well placed for social distancing felt comfortable sitting in there. But after a few weeks we've noticed tables are not being D2 and wiped down every time a member of staff clear now. Covid is still around! !

A day trip out to Colchester whilst on holiday and came across this lovely, spacious cafe. Amazing coconut flat white and delicious homemade portobello mushroom and mozzarella cheese toastie. Staff were really friendly and went over and above to help out. Toilets immaculate. Well worth a visit.

Also they need to check their chiller the temperature is illegal 13.2c is not keeping products cold by law
