It was great place to eating in, very helpful staff. I had mozzarella baguette with basil it was great price is £4.50. Their coffee was very tasty I am not coffee expert but I can tell nice coffee is. I would definitely go again.

Took the children here for a drink as they were all complaining of being thirsty. They got immediately fussed over by the owner, who very kindly pushed the tables together to enable us to be able to sit together. Great service and good tasty milkshakes sold here at a reasonable price.

This is one of the best places in Derby for a coffee (or many other drinks) and some food. The chains can be ok, but this has a good menu with loads of options at good prices, and a nice atmosphere. However I think they are moving soon, so I hope they maintain the same standard.

Tremendously friendly welcome! My friend, who has mobility problems, very welcomed. Staff adjusted tables and chairs without being requested, to make her accessing easier. I was unsure what to eat and staff suggested trying a certain food, which was WONDERFUL. Good menu choices. When finished the same level of support on the way out.. 👍👍 Just brilliant.

Today I saw exceptional customer service. I'd never tried this café before but was incredibly well looked after. I noticed that everyone was personally greeted as they arrived, many by name! I love Cafe Caruso. I used to go in here when I was young and the cafe was new and it has just gotten better with time. The Italian atmosphere is unrivalled anywhere in Derby and I'd say the entire Midlands too. It has the best coffee period and the food is wonderful too. Regularly you'll hear Tony somewhere singing in the background and greeting everyone with a warm welcome. Why would you want to go anywhere else?

Wonderful friendly welcome and really good coffee, it must be the best in Derby. As Toni says you need an Italian and Italian beans to make the best coffee and he has been doing it successfully for 25 years. If you care about service and quality you'll try it.

You can't beat it - the only place I ever buy coffee out, I lurve my coffee and making it at home, but these guys make coffee that's definitely worth going out of your way to try. And as for the service - real honest and genuinely caring - it's plain to see from the moment you walk in, good food and fantastic prices. Real family values and you really do feel welcome here. I am so glad I found this, and grand Cafe Caruso! Did you think old fashioned customer care was dead? Not here - long may it last. If I ever moved away from Derby, this would be the place that I would miss the most. Visit it a few times and you'll know what I mean. It's not necessarily about the food/drinks (the cappuccino they do is the best in town)... it's about the time and care they put into looking after their customers. I had a chocolate here my hubby had a coffee and a piece of cake. We had to site outside cos I had my dogs with me but we had a big parasol over us and it had heaters as well. Would recommend this cafe if you have to site outside.

This cafe opened 25 yrs ago by the Perrata families 2 brothers Marcello and Tony, Tony stayed at the smaller cafe and Marcello runs the Grande Cafe Caruso's. The smaller one sells Lavazza coffee and all different types espresso,Latte,Americano,Cappuccino etc,cakes,biscuits jacket potatoes with different fillings with side salad,toasted sandwiches various fillings,sandwiches,baguettes,tea ordinary and different flavours.It is the best in town so come and visit.
