Great cafe, friendly welcome. A good selection of tempting meals. Had a gorgeous quiche (mozzarella, pesto and cherry tomato) with salad. Great selection of fresh cakes, Loved the fruit scones and clotted cream with jam.

Great service from friendly staff. They're serving takeaway at the moment and the quality of the food is excellent. Best cheese scone I've ever eaten. Really generous portion sizes and the hot drinks are very tasty. Cakes are also delicious.

Absolutely love this place for breakfast/ lunch. The quiche is out of this world as are the garlic mushrooms on ciabatta. Cakes are superb too and even better blankets are provided to keep off the chill if youd like to sit outside. Thankyou fintons xx

Absolutly lovely place.. They very kindly allowed me to adjust the menu to suit the complex dietary requirement of the gentleman I support, even though very busy, which I really appreciated.. The staff were very busy, so I do understand but I found the wait too long. It was very noisy so not really my ideal place. It was lovely and clean and the staff were doing their best to get through everything and keep people served. It was very busy so I can see a lot of people enjoy it here. It just want tranquil enough for me.

Great location in Breaston, Derbyshire. The food is excellent, my favorites include their delicious poached eggs on toast...( all the breakfast menu is lovely) and the quiche. their cakes and scones are huge and amazing. they do Gluten free and special dietary requests. It was recommended we try Fintons because my partner is a coeliac. They had plenty of options for lunch and breakfast - we had lunch. My partner had a BLT with added sausages (the kitchen were impressed with his ambition) I had a cheese and ham ploughmans (option to swap the ham for brie) This came with a DELICIOUS homemade cheese scone instead of crackers which was actually my reason for choosing it! Both lunches came with a side salad and delicious homemade coleslaw. Even my partner liked it and he generally isn't keen. We had pudding to take away because we were both so full from our lunch! There was a selection of 9 cakes with 3 of them being GF. My partner had a chocolate brownie (his favourite) but they also had banana loaf and coffee&caramel cake. I brought home some chocolate&orange cake. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Will definitely revisit and would very much recommend other people try it for themselves.

For me this is a coffee shop that can't quite decide what it is... Greasy spoon or boutique tea shop? It kind of lives in the middle. Perhaps if it had a better ventilation system and they got rid of the plastic tablecloths it would swing more towards the boutique feel. Good try... Check out Appletree for a better example
