I absolutely love this place! I can't have dairy and Insomnia make the most incredible coconut milk lattes. Their vegan cakes are delicious, too. It's nice and airy inside, with very comfortable seating. The staff are friendly and happy. One of Derby's best coffee shops, definitely.

THE BEST COFFEE SHOP I'VE EVER BEEN TO! Starbucks who? I absolutely love the new Insomnia Coffee shop, I went for my moms birthday and it was the best coffee experience of my entire life. I had a Iced Latte with Caramel and Vanilla and it was best tasting Latte I've ever had the coffee blend was so much nicer and a nice strength for how I like my coffee, I also had the chicken caesar wrap which was better than any other wrap I've had before and to finish I had a piece of the apple pie warmed with cream and it was the best apple pie I've ever had. It's now 2 days later and I'm craving coffee and the food so bad will definitely be a regular at this coffee shop.

A lovely set out place with beautiful decor. Staff is friendly but can sometimes be forgetful at times- but who isn’t? If they make any mistakes ( once they burnt one of the things i ordered and forgot multiple times) they still give you a free drink token for next time you drop by and overall highly recommended if you want to have a calm and relaxed sitting with someone(or people) or just to study.

At last Littleover has a really good coffee house. Comfortable, spacious inside, with plenty of tables outside, too. A great place! Recommended. Now has a loyalty scheme, too. Great cakes!

Pleasant little coffee stop located at the CO-OP store in Littleover - it is what it is if you fancy a change from the big boys Tidy, efficient and lots of outdoor and indoor seating too Do your shop for groceries then take 5 for a cuppa and a cake #winner

Lovely place for a coffee either before or after shopping. Lovely staff and both the inside area and outside are nice.

Large clean premises, well laid out with a variety of seating styles, cosy nooks and large seating areas. A very relaxed feel with plenty of space between tables. Staff were friendly and efficient. Coffee was good and piping hot. Sandwiches fresh, prepacked. Can definitely recommend the carrot cake and millionaire shortcake. Will be visiting again.

A much needed meeting venue for the area . Very much like a Costa , but that's not a bad thing . Always enjoy the coffee and occasionally a cake . The staff are friendly and welcoming . Nice outside area . Keep up the good work .

Staff are all amazing, such a lovely team and they make you feel valued and respected every single time. Good quality food and drinks as well. The can attract more customers if they increased their vegetarian selection, very limited at the moment. No more than one or two sandwiches every time I have been there.

Love this place! It's an amazing place to go with friends or family. They have really nice and respectful staff. The whole vibe in there is amazing! It's really quiet and chill in there and it makes it such a nice place to sit with a drink. The drinks are so nice too, the staff put so much effort into making them look amazing!

Just ordered a hazelnut hot chocolate and a caramel latte and it was so good. 1 million% recommend anyone who loves a hot chocolate to try it because it was honestly great. Definitely going back, well done to the lovely ladies who made them both.

Amazing experience. Friendly, attentive staff who couldn’t do enough for you. The coffee shop was clean and I felt safe even during such difficult and scary times. All staff wearing masks and there were 2 stations where we could sanitise our hands (way in and out). The flat white was delicious, not to mention the cakes. That maple and pecan slice is to die for. Would highly recommend and we shall be back to try more cakes and coffees very soon.

We visited this new coffee shop the other weekend. Really nicely done out and nice relaxed atmosphere. Between us we sampled a range of coffees, sandwiches and cakes all of which were delicious! Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Will definitely be going back!!

A new addition to a fairly lively urban village. This is part of a fairly small marquee from the big coffee giants and my first visit was not a disappointment. Tea and a chocolate brownie for less than a fiver? Great start.The service was friendly and impressive. I had table service outside which was very chic and French style. Spotlessly clean the tray was arranged in a very pleasing way; with small jug of milk and serviettes and polished cutlery. Seemingly making a determination to excel beyond my expectation which they did. They asked if I wanted anything further by a charming person who explained their mission and expectations. Littleover already has a high bar with surrounding business delivering high quality of service. Ample free parking means that you can relax without chasing a deadline. Time will tell whether this high level of service will sustain but I have a feeling that they have a clear vision and determination to succeed. Looking forward to my next visit. Update. They lost two stars. The above expectation did not materialize on my second visit. Although the garden patio had been extended and it certainly adds to the experience. The basics were ignored on this occasion. They did not execute the order properly with an omission and I had to leave the table to point out out. Instead of me hearing an apology I got a nonchalant glance with the projection that I spoilt someone's day. It's not the job of the customer to"make" the vendors day but the other way around. If there's an oversight it should be cheerfully acknowledged and put right with a smile and a reassuring attitude. Sadly this was not the case today. Hopefully this might readjust thinking where it matters most. Get the basics right. The rest is just frills.

Still covid safe as sanitizer masks required inside most wearing masks and kids are away on hols so quieter and outside space feels safer and a one way system in place .Thanks to the staff as always glad people are bk .I will keep complying as I know some of the staff were poorly with the delta variant and isolating .Double jabbed but still protecting others glad insomnia protects you staff as you are lovely
