Great place to pull off the motorway for a coffee and a bite to eat. Good selection of delicious sweet and savoury meals and snacks. Excellent value for money Dog friendly too.

Fabulous find just off the M1. Wholesome chicken casserole with a crusty cob was tasty. Then a special treat of nutella and rolo cookie pie, absolutely perfect. Would definitely venture away from motorway services again

Found this place by accident and can't fault it. Extensive menu with plenty of variety, and pleasant smiley staff. Only had coffee and cake, and both were delicious. Definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely home made food, there was a slight issue with my food which wasnt there fault they quickly resolved it and let me have a free pudding. Baby and child friendly. Animals were really friendly and I enjoyed feeding them which u buy the food for £1/2, will be going again

Charming coffee shop with tasty food.
It is situated on a small farm where kids can feed the animals. There's also a small gift shop, so plan on spending 2 or 3 hours there if you have kids.
The staff are friendly and the service is prompt. The food is great quality and priced very reasonably. There's also a wide choice.
The dining area is split into two so there's a room specifically for kids. The barn conversion setting is charming.
Overall, great people, tasty food, lovely place and now I've found it, I keep going back!

Gorgeous little coffee shop absolutely designed for kids and parents. Fresh scones from the oven when we got there in the morning, which were lovely, and the coffee was great. The food looked good too we will definitely be going again.

Lovely home cooked food, affordable prices, my kids love going when we go to feed the animals but I have also been known to venture here kid free to enjoy a cup of tea and a price of James home made cakes. So good and well worth the visit x

Average cafe, ridiculous child policy.
Nothing particularly wrong with the cafe but children under 10 are required to eat in the "family room". I walked into the main part with a well behaved under 10 and was asked to go into the other room.I could accept this in a restaurant, particularly in the evening, but at lunchtime in a cafe based at a garden centre the policy of grouping 9 year olds togther with babies seems rather Victorian.
The family room has a few of those "move rings over the wire" type toys and a children's menu and that's it. Nothing to entice families if they had the choice.
The food was fine and in fact the staff were friendly enough, but I'm marking service as poor because it's the category that seems to fit best. If you have kids, I suggest you go somewhere else.

Nice interior, service and staff made an effort. Still didn't feel anything special but worth a trip if you haven't been before and interesting small garden centre with farm animals you can see which would be nice if you have children.

Natty little place good coffee and snacks. There are meals to but not experienced those. Plenty of parking. Tables are close together chatting takes place. So friendly. Happily I will return.

Would recommend The Davewich (bacon, sausage, hashbrown, egg and cheese toasted sandwich). The toilet on site has seen better days but useable.

Really great place. Nice decent food at good prices, with a wonderful farm to explore afterwards and see the animals.
Came for the coffee, stayed for the George the pug 😉

We always enjoy the quiet tranquility of the main area with no little ones running about but equally if we have our grandchildren with us the family room is great

Its really nice to have the option of eating in a separate room to noisy children. Good food well priced.
