Because our favorite cafe was full we decided to try Muffin Break and we were not disappointed. The coffee was lovely and the cake was good. However, the cheesecake was a lil too sweet for my liking.

This place was a great find!! As I'm not a frequent visitor to Derbion, I wasn't sure where to go for a coffee and a snack...and this place was perfect!! There's plenty of snack choices (I personally recommend the Biscoff Cheescake!), and ample choice of hot and cold drinks. Staff were friendly (and offer to take your tray to your table if required). They're also quick to clean the tables too.

I've been a few times but the last time I went I ordered a tuna panini and when it arrived it had onions in which it never said it did on the label. I don't recommend you order that if you are allergic to onions as they may still have not corrected this mistake even though I pointed it out to them.

I like this place as it cheaper than Costa. The muffins are de-lish-us and are usually on a sample plate to try first before you buy. The muffins are made on the premises each day and makes the place smell lovely. They sell more than just coffee, there are different tea's, smoothies and shakes also for you to try. The atmosphere and seating is great and the staff sevice is tip top. The premises have had a face lift and looks much cleaner and better than of old. There is a coffee reward system for visiting regularly which is well worth filling in the form, believe me the coffee tastes even better when you get a drink free. There are toilets and a small play area for tiny tots at the back. I'm sure you will enjoy the experienceļ

This is my go to place at Derbion . The muffins are baked freshly every day but theres also sandwiches , rolls , cheesecake and a whole variety of tea , coffee , chocolate and milkshakes . Clean , with friendly staff and filling muffins that are delicious . What more could you want .

I drink decaff and MB easily do the best decaff in Intu. Also, the ham and cheese toasties are perfect; crunchy and melty with ingredients that actually taste of something. An excellent venue for a quiet lunch or business, I've spent literally hours in there.

Me and my mum popped in for lunch, had a lovely chat with Shelly, when our food came we noticed that the toastie had red onion chutney instead of normal red onion, which normally would be fine for most people, but this is usually something my mum is allergic to. This is not detailed on the information label and I have to say the staff, particularly Shelly, handled this great and immediately did everything they could to sort this out and Shelly promised to bring this up with her manager and see if they can get the label updated for anyone else in the future. Fantastic service and we will definitely recommend coming to this particular store

One of our preferred places to stop for a coffee and a snack. For a couple of reasons .... 1.Biggest selling point for myself and family, is surprisingly the lighting and atmosphere. Having enjoyed coffees in most places round the intu, we have always felt more comfortable here. As my wife and daughter have a severe light sensitivity, they are easily triggered with headaches. Visiting town has always been a task in itself knowing what awaits the journey home. However, this place makes the day more bearable as the lighting is high and subdued making our visits a lot more pleasurable. Something sadly Thorntons screwed up a couple years back. 2. The drinks and snack selection are great. As of yet not had a bad coffee, and the kids always have something different on every visit. Ooo one final point, the staff always very accommodating, smiley and helpful

How can I say. I can't put 3.5 stars. 4 stars is a lot. So, 3 is bit unfair, but take it as a positive critisism. One of the negative points I noticed since months, is the property of the tables. It is like they don't care. Your reputation is also linked to your reactivity on keeping the tables clean!! Not with empty glasses of 2 hours ago! Some cakes are bit pricey. However, the ambiance and design are good, and all seem fresh. Nice waiters as all.

Usually visit whenever I'm in need of an excuse to stick around in town or if I fancy treating myself. I admire their hot chocolates and either a mud cake or cookie and it's totally lush! Their recent change of environment right at the very back has been clever for kids entertainment, which is something unique that I've seen. Love the electronic reward system, which is something I haven't seen in Nottingham when I went there a couple of years back. Only downside (and only reason I give it 4 stars) is that there are usually a lot of dirty tables which can take a while for staff members to clear up and it is not necessarily expensive, but not cheap either. Everything else is absolutely spot on!
