Lovely little place, they do amazing homemade cakes and lovely hot chocolates. They have an outdoor seating area too if there isn’t space inside. The staff are always nice and helpful

What a lovely place we just found whilst having a walk. Staff really friendly and nothing to much trouble. Everything made fresh and lovely coffee. Definitely be back when in the area.

Nice small cafe with lovely drinks and eats of all kinds from hot to cold. Unless you are a local you wouldn't know it's there however. A must try place for a get together with old friends for a chat over a coffee and a nibble, you will not be disappointed

Very tasty cakes, good selection. Beverages can be with oat/soy/almond etc. Plant based milks if you prefer. Very nice location, quiet and breezy.

What a lovely treasure this hidden cafe really is. I have been using this cafe for several years now with different groups of friends. All have found it delightful. The coffee I can assure you is outstanding. My continuing quest for cafes that can supply a LARGE quality flat white is few and far between...but here is another one indeed (why do cafes continually say that it can't be made?). Anyway, a lovely stop-over for my cycling friends in this historic converted silk mill. A large specialist gift/present outlet is adjacent as is a hairdressing salon. Outside seating for warm days. The complex is easy to miss from the main through road to Breaston. It is off the tiny parking square in Market Street. See my pics for menu, times etc.. All freshly made with a range of cakes for us hungry cyclists 😊.

This is a lovely coffee house that also sells beautiful cakes and very nice food. A very enjoyable Saturday morning stroll for a decent coffee and maybe a slice of cake, or a toastie......bliss. Staff are good, in the main. Am slightly fascinated by one staff member who looks like she is supposed to work there.....and is often behind the counter taking orders.....but I'm never sure she is actually listening. It doesn't make a jot of difference as the coffee and cake are gorgeous and I'm warming to this rather distracted member of staff. In fact, she's starting to make each visit more interesting. So....looking forward to Saturday! :-)

I have visited this charming little tea room on several occasions and absolutely love it ☕️❤️ I recommended it to my friends mother, she wanted an afternoon tea with friends to celebrate her retirement xx Unfortunately she is not online, so she has asked me to pass on her compliments to the proprietors xx She had a marvellous time in an authentic vintage tearoom with exquisite food and drink xx She also mentioned that as she lives in Shardlow it will be her 'go to' place when she fancies a delicious scone So once again, thank you for being our No.1 top tea room xxx
