A great little restaurant. The food is expensive and the portions are small, but it's tucked away in a remote location only known to the few so it's a great little find. You can get here by walking from B&Q or via the path via Bessacarr Crossings and Potteric Carr. Don't tell too many people!

Lovely walk from Alverly lane this morning but unfortunately Annabel’s is only open at weekends in January & February but we still enjoyed the walk the dog also did

Lovely little take away cafe in an open barn. Friendly staff, nice reasonable food and lovely setting. We had cold drinks, a breakfast wrap, sausage butty and a panini, followed by ice creams. There’s a pizza oven too and a vegan menu. Do NOT drive here - we didn’t realise that the road on Sat nav is just a rough track and nearly wrecked our suspension! Next time I would park by Amazon and walk across or you can walk Hall Balk Lane from the main road. We didn’t realise there were toilets, as they are by the side of the road. Nice place to walk dogs round the lakes. (As they aren’t allowed at Potteric Carr)

A quirky destination in that it's situated on a footpath/cycle track with no access by car so you have to walk it (or bike it) to get there. It's a very nice spot overlooking a large lake, I believe constructed by Amazon who's major depot is situated not far away. We walked there a couple of times when visiting my daughter who lives in the area. The menu looked very good and prices were fair. We only had coffee, cake and ice-cream which were all fine but what I saw others eating looked great. We'll certainly go again next time we're in that part of the world.

We eventually found Annabels after a good walk that we enjoyed. We were surprised at how lovely it is for ever. The menu is good and we enjoyed a tasty sandwich and hot drink. It's now on our list for a good walk and refreshments.

So cute!!! Lovely place, great coffee and food. The pizzas 🍕 are amazing!! Please open later on a weekend, the addition of a bar would be great on a weekend as well.

Cool place to visit with kids there's plenty to for them to do including feeding the animals and sand pit plus ride on toys too. The food is nice and the menu is a good size with panini's full breakfast and cake and Ice cream plus lots more. We parked up in the woodfield pub car park and walked the track 30 mins to get a breakfast and a nice coffee and wasn't disappointed. Thanks guy's we will be back

Had our first of hopefully many visits. It was a lovely walk and the kids absolutely loved it!! Smoothies and food were brilliant!! Would recommend for anyone who fancies a good walk with something to break it up/toilets etc. Absolute credit to the owners and staff 😁

nice walk to cafe with dogs. love a pet friendly place. sad that several were off lead in the seating area (where food will also be served) and kept running over to sisters puppy when it was one of the first long walk shes had and another kept running over and launching at my guide dog. so instead of ordering food like we was going to we just had 2 hot chocs and left. will try again another time and hopefully dogs will be a little calmer. general seating area was very clean a man was sweeping all the concrete floors to get all dust up even tho it was an outdoor area, alot of places wouldn't do that n just pick litter etc up. would try again in future and hopefullt have more success with other customers bein responsable

Enjoyed our time there today. Great set up, fab selection. In this current climate we actually felt as though we had a little normality to the Christmas festivities. Had a mince pie and some mulled wine and toasted some marshmallow s. Kids loved it. Happy Christmas!

With the wet weather, it was a muddy approach. But plenty on offer to please most walkers This coffee shack is situated on the side of the lake so in summer will be really good...Think it is best approached on foot...road access and parking not good...
