I spend a lot of mornings there with my twins that are two noisy 17 months old babies. The staff is always very nice and always prepare babyccinos for us :) I think this place is very family friendly as there's a lot of space for prams and even for a double buggy like mine. There's also children books so you can have a relaxing coffee while your kid is entertained.

Coffee here is OK, as to be expected from Nero. The furniture is getting quite tired looking, initially it has a sort of quaint feel to it, but as it has aged it’s started to turn drab. They do some nice snacks, some of it is vegan. They are happy to include alternative milks, but you have to pay extra for that. (You don’t have to pay anything for milk squeezed from a cow) I don’t sense the passion for coffee from the baristas, they don’t seem to have a lot of knowledge on the origins, species or flavour profile of the beans they are using.

I've been coming to this Caffè Nero for over a year and it's always been a simple, comfortable and pleasant experience. The baristas are always working hard, but never show how busy they are in their treatment of customers. They're always friendly, polite and welcoming.

Having had coffee in other Nero's, I knew what to expect. Although it looked the similar, I was trying to figure out what cake to buy for my wife and I. I let a few people go before while I made up my mind. I was then told to give my coffee order, to which I replied I'm not ready yet. I again got what coffee do you want? Again I said I'm not ready to order, we can get your coffee on the go. So I gave in and told what coffee we would like. Eventually I figured out the cake situation, and ordered. Collected my cakes and waited the coffee to arrive at the table. Coffee was very nice, however the cakes were overly cold, which made them feel almost stale in texture. Would I go again? Yes! Would I eat cake again? Yes Hoping this was a one off

This used to be one of our favourite cafe's but is now looking a little bit tired and with only one (friendly) woman serving service was very slow. Cafe competition is building up around here so maybe Nero's needs to freshen up and smell the coffee.

I'm in Cafe Nero often for a coffee and to feed my 10 month old twins, the staff have been so accommodating with us all, helping by bringing things to the table and even getting the high chairs out for us. The coffees are great but the staff and the atmosphere really make it an enjoyable experience. They even have a great selection of books on the shelves to read. Take a book and bring a book back.

Comfortable, warm and inviting. Only one negative, seats are now looking a bit worn and could with a refurb. Decor is nice and fits the building. All in all a nice place to meet friends and enjoy a really good cup of coffee.

A little disappointed today with the lack of attention to covid restrictions. Many tables were left with used cups and food waiting to be cleaned up. Also, not sure the track and trace system is being fully implemented.... but my cup of tea was nice.

Was open on New Year's Day. The staff were incredibly cheerful and pleasant. I was delighted to get a decent coffee. Felt bad the staff were working but grateful for a cheerful welcome and great cup of coffee.

The three stars are for one server being excellent. The younger of the two I couldn't fault. The older woman took the first part of my order and instantly turned away to make it. She then couldn't hear me. I got to the other server at the till and placed my order and explained her colleague was making the other drink. When the first server placed the drink on the tray, I said "Could I have a spoon with that please?" I got a gruff answer of "I've only got two hands." She then dumped a spoon on the tray. Meanwhile the younger girl had made my own drink. Imagine my surprise when I found out that the older woman had got my order wrong. Despite her only having one drink to deal with. The younger woman apologised and instantly corrected my order. I don't know whether she (the older woman) was having a bad day or whether she was annoyed she'd burnt the previous customers croissant but it's not the usual friendly service I get from Café Nero's that I've been to.

The 3 lovely girls who served me today were amazing! Very professional and I watched them work seamlessly even with the queue to the door completely, they were un-flustered ... I have a high level of hospitality experience and u usually pay alot more for that level of service.!!! Fantastic team!

Staff a hit and miss with service sometimes. Dont get offered the same deals as other customers, heard next in line get offered mark ups I wasn't aware of. Coffees ok as coffee goes. Wouldn't go out my way to find it.
