The breakfasts were great, avocado was warm which was nice. The coffee wasn’t great through. The staff were lovely and friendly through! The vegetarian sausages were nice which is always a worry as some places they’re very strange!

Very decent small coffee shop. We come sometimes for our Sunday coffee and cake. The cakes and scones are large and fresh. They also have dairy and gluten free cakes, even tastier than the traditional ones! Staff is friendly and make you feel at home.

A great business & amazing staff. We were made to feel so welcome. A fulfilling experience from start to finish. I’ll of course be back, great value for money. Breakfast was so filling the presentation was delightful and nice on the eye tasted superb too. Well done to the owner and the team. Definitely pop in you’ll not be disappointed.

Always enjoyed grabbing a bite to eat here. They also do a decent selection of vegetarian & vegan breakfast items that other places don't seem to do yet. Location, food and service all great. I might just mention that the opening times on Google appear to be wrong. It says they don't open until 8am and it was open at 7:30am as I passed. By then I'd grabbed a breakfast roll further up the street thinking Cafe Fresh wasn't open.

Unbelievably friendly staff and an amazing atmosphere. I had a full Scottish breakfast, coffee and a cake. Every bit of it was brilliant also very reasonably priced. There is nothing to fault with my visit there today. Cant wait for the next time.

As a person who has celiac, it was lovely to have a gluten free menu. From full Scottish, to a large selection of baked goods. Several different plant based milks, for a lovely latte. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

A great place with lots to choose from. Ordered soup and a sandwich. The biggest bowl of soup I'd had in a cafe and it was delicious. Sandwich was well filled too. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Definitely would recommend this place for something to eat. Prices are very reasonable too. Just great all round so definitely worth 5 stars!

I had the breakfast and my girlfriend had the veggie breakfast, along with a round of toast and a tea and a coffee, we also got change from £20, very reasonably priced for the size of the meal. Clean and tidy with very friendly staff.

Great cafe, has a great Gluten Free menu, as awell as vegetarian. I had a G/F panini with G/F haggis and mozzarella it was delicious. Great selection of G/F cakes too.

Friendly, conveniently located, open earlier than most of the places nearby. The staff was super friendly and we met a lot of lovely people while there. Our only struggle was the mayo- mayo on everything, lots, so much we couldn't finish any of what we ordered. Really great for except for the mayo!

Service was lovely, I had a chicken mayo sandwich but I could only eat couple bites as the margarine on it was vile very cheap yellow & synthetic tasting, it was pretty over priced for what it was, carrot cake was nice though

What a lovely spot to stop for a bite to eat and a coffee. Wonderfully friendly and attentive staff. Most importantly, for me anyway, it was dog friendly. I had a tasty full breakfast and coffee. Sat downstairs, which is small with a larger area upstairs. A large, very clean toilet, too. I would recommend a visit if in the area.

got soup and biscoff cakes delivered today. Delivery was quick, the driver was so friendly and delivered the food with care. Soup was hot and fresh, big portion with 2 slices of crusty bread for 3.69! (the bread also came with butter) Cakes were really nice though not what I was expecting, more of a traybake than cake. Plus most of the packaging was paper which is awesome.

Amazing little cafe! Whether you are looking for a jolly, friendly little cafe with loving staff and a general good vibe, or just a quick bite to eat or coffee, you need look no further than cafe fresh!! This amazing little place not only offers delicious food with an abundance of options for gluten free, veggie, and vegan people alike, but also offers general non dietary requirement food too. Every single interaction is met with love and genuine care, and with the place being family run, I never feel financially guilty when I over indulge in their food. (and I often do) In one statement, the money couldn't be going to a more deserving family and business. 5 stars from me all day long! ❤️❤️ ***** ❤️❤️

We visited on Saturday and the staff were just fantastic, it took a tiny bit longer to get our food (honestly not even that long at all!) and a staff member came over to give us another hot cup of coffee and some extra bits with our order as a thank you for waiting. It was so considerate and lovely, we will definitely be back. Plus the lunch dishes were so so nice, very generous portions for a cheap price. Highly recommend!

My wife and I went to Fresh for lunch. Staff were really friendly and the menu choices were plentiful. We went upstairs to a clean colourful, modern facility. We indulged in the cakes and Panini's. Our Panini's came with a large salad which was lovely. Earl-grey and cappucini to follow. We will be going back...!

This little “cafe on the cobbles” is amazing. The staff here have been so friendly and happy every time we visit. The coffee and the cakes taste great. Perfect to pick up before a walk round the park. I recommend any of their hot drinks and definitely their gypsy creams! Staff are super helpful and create a great vibe around the cafe. They are taking all COVID precautions seriously and will take your order outside of the restaurant to reduce contact. Definitely worth a visit!

It's a lovely find, staff friendly and approachable, food is great with great portions can thoroughly recommend the lentil and bacon soup and the sandwiches certainly don't skimp on filling or the side salad I will definitely return as it's now the go to place for us in Dunfermline

Friendly staff make this local cafe a place to visit. With outdoor seating and more seating indoors upstairs, there is more room than you think when you first arrive. This is not a fancy cafe, just a straight forward place to eat or take away with menu items of decent servings and good pricing. Popular with families, but be aware that there are only stairs to the upper level and the outdoor seating is only a real option if it is not raining or freezing. Not a place to eat in if you are in a hurry as due to being busy it can take quite a few minutes to get food to the table. If you dont mind the wait then that's not a problem. Would go again (and I have).

A conveniently located cafe situated at the bottom of Dunfermline High Street and close to the Abbey. My wife and I sat outside with our puppy and enjoyed a panini and capucino. The food was of excellent quality and served with a really fresh mixed salad coated with balsamic. Value was average for this type of eatery - hence the four star rating.
