A lovely little find on a bright buy chilly Edinburgh afternoon. Small but well spaced out, with comfortable seating and a cozy ambience. The large Brazilian Cafetiere coffee was good and ample for 2 to share, although could have been a tad stronger brewed. And the cakes were tasty, moist, delicious, and generously portioned. Locale itself is child friendly, which is always a bonus for me, and located directly across from the historic Canongate Kirk, so offers attractive views. Overall we had an idyllic afternoon coffee & cake break here, with friendly service and decent prices for the Royal Mile. Would recommend.

The staff were polite and nothing to complain about. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience. The dishes are not very abundant but they are quite good and it is not expensive compared to the place where it is located. It is a good place to eat on the most important street in the city without spending a lot of money. Also, when we went, there were waitresses who spoke Spanish.

Fast food restaurant. The truth is that for the place where it is located (in the heart of the Royal Mille) the price is not bad at all. The food was very good (understanding that it is fast food). The place is somewhat narrow and uncomfortable but for a "technical stop" it is perfect.

Small neighborhood coffee shop. Ideal for taking breakfast. This is probably where the strength of the restaurant lies. In addition to the traditional English or Scottish breakfast (including black pudding and haggies), egg dishes (omelette, Egg Benedict) and various vegetarian sandwiches are also offered. Avocado on toast is particularly recommended here. Various sweet pastries are also available.

It's not bad, the paninis they have are quite acceptable. They serve them with salad. It is a little expensive for my pocket but it is understandable given the place in which it is located and the public for which it is intended: tourists. For those of us who live here it is not a frequent place.

Food was excellent but I didn't feel welcome. I don't know if it was because I'm American or because I'm Black. No one would look me in the eye. Employees didn't make small talk or ask how I liked the food. I won't return.

Coffee ok but too milky, ordered a flat white got a latte. Good coffee otherwise. Bacon roll great. BLT panini shockingly overpriced, 2 rashers of bacon, 2 microscopic bits of lettuce and tomato. Just go for the rolls and you’ll be fine.
