Lovely eatery with friendly staff! Had haggis and crepes, enjoyed the beach and soaked in rain. Recommended!

As a local I decided for the first time to buy a tattie scone roll this morning... I left my roll alone for 2 seconds and a couple of crows swooped down and threw it on the floor! The very kind staff instantly came over to me and said '' its OK we'll make you another one on the house and said don't let it ruin your day'' - so kind!! This act of kindness meant a lot to me, especially as id taken my eye off my tasty morning roll due to looking after a little girl heading towards the dogs communal water bowl! Thank you kind staff X

5/5 Dogs would recommend Crumbs’ Liver Cakes. A weekly beach walk is demanded by our dog and never can we leave without a trip to Crumbs for one of their savory dog treats. As for the humans, I highly recommend the Goats Cheese Crepe. It was phenomenal. However, you could never go wrong with one of their bacon rolls. Some of the most delicious bacon I have had in Edinburgh yet. There can sometimes be a wait, but it is all for a good reason. Relax, soak up the beautiful beach views, and watch all the delighted dogs enjoy their scrumptious snack :)

Great location for a Saturday morning roll. Coffees not bad but sometimes I find it should be stronger. I now drink their long black coffee, good strength and good taste.

Nice little cafe on the seafront selling sweet & savory crepes and breakfast rolls. All freshly made in front of you. The guys are friendly and prices are reasonable.

This place draws me to it like a magnet. If I'm going to the promenade I need to have at least some change to get the pupper her liver cake which she goes mad for. I have to admit though I always make sure I've enough on me for a coffee. They do great coffee and I'm told the hot chocolate is fab. The savoury crepes are so worth it as well. Some times there can be a wait but this has to be expected as the promenade can be very busy, but honestly it's all worth the wait. Plus who needs to be in that much of a hurry when you're at such a beautiful beach. The staff are always super friendly.

This is a popular spot for dogwalkers to grab a coffee to go, or sit on the prom enjoying a crepe or a superb breakfast roll. Dogs appreciate the liver cakes ( optional £1 donation to the honesty box) which appear to be delicious!

Had to wait for my coffee while other orders like bacon rolls or rolls and sausage were being completed. There were at least 4 people serving. Surely you would have someone just doing the hot drinks, and getting them out without standing and waiting for bacon to cook. That said, the coffee was very good when I did eventually get it.

This has become a Porty staple - bigger, better, more organised. Menu is still basically breakfast rolls and crepes, and decent coffee. A brilliant place to grab a bite and a breath of sea air.

We've been regular customers for a few years and love their coffees and their creps too. They are great at looking after their younger audiences too. Gets too busy with dog walkers often if sitting and eating by the wall, would recommend enjoying I near the Joppa end instead

Great location right by the beach, friendly staff, and they cater to dogs (1£ liver cakes). Good range of most popular drinks and snacks and it is not too expensive. They have outdoor seating as well.

Right on Portobello promenade where we were cycling. Crumbs was great for teas and coffees and sodas despite our 20+ order. The hot chocolate was great with cream and marshmallows on top. Excellent to keep us warm when we stopped cycling.

As regular visitors to Portobello promenade, this is the usual stop for my wife and I when walking or cycling. The food and drinks are made freshly to order, the quality is good and the staff are friendly. Service can be a little slow sometimes when it's busy but it's worth the wait. The place also does a roaring trade in liver cake which the dogs love.

What can you expect from such a place... you know you are gonna spend a fortune playing games to win tickets til you have enough to exchange for a 50p bottle of bubbles, but we are British and we will continue to do this forever more!!! Game machines all worked and gave out tickets and there were staff there to give you change and change your tickets for (scrappy) prizes. What more can you expect. It is what it is.

Crumbs of portobello served me one of the best crepes that I've ever eaten in my life (and I've eaten a ton of crepes!). The dough is soft on the inside and slightly, subtly crispy on the outside, with great texture! They're not stingy on the Nutella and banana, yet not too overwhelmingly spamming them such that you get sick of the taste. It's a perfect balance that I would definitely recommend for everyone!!
